Procjenjuje se kako je grobnica unutar koje se nalazi Bazilika svetog groba u Jeruzalemu prekrivena mramorom od najjranije 1555 godine prije Krista.

Arheolozi su sada prvi put uklonili mramorne ploče i otkrili u kamenu isklesanu grobnicu u kojoj je Isus navodno pokopan, javio je National Geographic. Znanstvenici naime provode daljnja istraživanja kako bi točno ustanovili kako je Isus pokopan.

Prema kršćanskoj vjerovanju, Krist je pokopan u vapnenačkom grobu napravljenom od isklesanog kamena stijene nakon što su ga razapeli Rimljani.

Ispod mramornog pokrova, znanstvenici su otkrili sloj šute zasad nepoznatog podrijetla. Uslijedit će detaljna analiza izvornog kamena koji je bio "posmrtna postelja" tijela Isusa Krista. 

"Bit će ovo duga znanstvena analiza, no napokon ćemo imati priliku vidjeti izvornu kamenu površinu na kojoj je prema vjerovanju položeno tijelo Isusa Krista", kazao je arheolohg Fredrik Hiebert.

Procjenjuje se kako je grobnica unutar koje se nalazi Bazilika svetog groba u Jeruzalemu prekrivena mramorom od najjranije 1555 godine prije Krista.

Arheolozi su sada prvi put uklonili mramorne ploče i otkrili u kamenu isklesanu grobnicu u kojoj je Isus navodno pokopan, javio je National Geographic. Znanstvenici naime provode daljnja istraživanja kako bi točno ustanovili kako je Isus pokopan.

Prema kršćanskoj vjerovanju, Krist je pokopan u vapnenačkom grobu napravljenom od isklesanog kamena stijene nakon što su ga razapeli Rimljani.

Ispod mramornog pokrova, znanstvenici su otkrili sloj šute zasad nepoznatog podrijetla. Uslijedit će detaljna analiza izvornog kamena koji je bio "posmrtna postelja" tijela Isusa Krista. 

"Bit će ovo duga znanstvena analiza, no napokon ćemo imati priliku vidjeti izvornu kamenu površinu na kojoj je prema vjerovanju položeno tijelo Isusa Krista", kazao je arheolohg Fredrik Hiebert.
