Fenomen rođenja još uvijek je pun nepoznanica i praznovjerja. Razmatraju se načini kako začeti žensku ili mušku djecu i pokušava se dokučiti zašto neke obitelji imaju samo djevojčice, a druge samo dječake.
I u tim pitanjima, kao i u mnogim drugima, najbolje se okrenuti znanosti.
Znanstvenici zasad nisu pronašli dokaze koji podupiru tvrdnju da geni naše obitelji mogu utjecati na to hoćemo li imati djecu samo jednog spola. Spol djeteta ovisi o ocu. Neki spermatozoidi nose X kromosome za djevojčice, a drugi Y kromosome za dječake. Dok žena nosi 2 X kromosoma, spol novorođenčeta ovisi o tome ulazi li spermatozoid X ili Y u žensku jajnu stanicu.
Znanstvenici su pronašli faktore koji bi mogli utjecati na spol. Dokazano je da će nakon stresnih vremena, poput prirodnih katastrofa ili pandemije, biti više novorođenih djevojčica. To bi moglo biti zbog stresa kojem su bile izložene buduće majke.

Dokazano je i da smanjivanje soli i konzumiranje puno mliječnih proizvoda kod muškaraca može povećati šanse za dobivanje djevojčice, dok će majke čija je prehrana puna hrane bogate natrijem i kalijem vjerojatnije roditi dječake.
Obitelji koje imaju puno djece istog spola mogu se statistički objasniti. Svako dijete ima 50 posto šanse da bude dječak ili djevojčica. Tako, na primjer, za troje djece šansa da su sva djeca muškog spola iznosi: 0,5 X 0,5 X 0,5 = 0,125, ili 12,5 posto, piše miss7.
Dakle, hoće li novorođenče biti ženskog ili muškog spola i znanstvenike još uvijek ostavlja bez valjanih dokaza.

Fenomen rođenja još uvijek je pun nepoznanica i praznovjerja. Razmatraju se načini kako začeti žensku ili mušku djecu i pokušava se dokučiti zašto neke obitelji imaju samo djevojčice, a druge samo dječake.
I u tim pitanjima, kao i u mnogim drugima, najbolje se okrenuti znanosti.
Znanstvenici zasad nisu pronašli dokaze koji podupiru tvrdnju da geni naše obitelji mogu utjecati na to hoćemo li imati djecu samo jednog spola. Spol djeteta ovisi o ocu. Neki spermatozoidi nose X kromosome za djevojčice, a drugi Y kromosome za dječake. Dok žena nosi 2 X kromosoma, spol novorođenčeta ovisi o tome ulazi li spermatozoid X ili Y u žensku jajnu stanicu.
Znanstvenici su pronašli faktore koji bi mogli utjecati na spol. Dokazano je da će nakon stresnih vremena, poput prirodnih katastrofa ili pandemije, biti više novorođenih djevojčica. To bi moglo biti zbog stresa kojem su bile izložene buduće majke.

Dokazano je i da smanjivanje soli i konzumiranje puno mliječnih proizvoda kod muškaraca može povećati šanse za dobivanje djevojčice, dok će majke čija je prehrana puna hrane bogate natrijem i kalijem vjerojatnije roditi dječake.
Obitelji koje imaju puno djece istog spola mogu se statistički objasniti. Svako dijete ima 50 posto šanse da bude dječak ili djevojčica. Tako, na primjer, za troje djece šansa da su sva djeca muškog spola iznosi: 0,5 X 0,5 X 0,5 = 0,125, ili 12,5 posto, piše miss7.
Dakle, hoće li novorođenče biti ženskog ili muškog spola i znanstvenike još uvijek ostavlja bez valjanih dokaza.
