Carmen i Lupita Andrade su 22-godišnje sijamske blizanke iz Meksika. Djevojke žive u SAD-u, u Connecticutu i slažu se vrlo dobro, unatoč tome što su spojene torzom - zbog čega imaju zajedničku zdjelicu i reproduktivni sustav. Obje djevojke imaju po dvije ruke, ali svaka ima jednu nogu - Carmen ima kontrolu nad desnom, a Lupita nad lijevom, prenose 24 Sata.

Blizanke su nedavno gostovale u emisiji Today, a otkrile su kako im izgleda svakodnevica, vožnja automobila i ljubavni životi. Također su objasnile da ih liječnici nisu mogli razdvojiti jer bi takav zahvat bio previše riskantan.

- Da smo bile podvrgnute takvom zahvatu jedna od nas bi umrla, a možda i obje. Moguće je i da bismo završile na odjelu intenzivne njege s kojeg nikad više ne bi izašle, rekla je Lupita i dodala:

- Rekli su našim roditeljima da ćemo vjerojatno živjeti samo nekoliko dana, ali prevarili su se. Godine smo provele na fizikalnim terapijama još otkako smo bile bebe. Učili su nas kako sjediti i zajednički koristiti noge. Prve korake napravile smo u dobi od četiri godine.

Djevojke su se tijekom odrastanja savršeno prilagodile jedna drugoj pa danas bez problema čak i voze.

- Idemo u kino i na koncerte gdje dijelimo jedno sjedalo, i putujemo avionom. Prošle godine smo išle u Kaliforniju, a letjele smo i u Teksas, prepričala je Carmen i objasnila što učine kada žele biti same. 

- Tada odemo na različite uređaje i radimo svaka što želi. Ja imam svoj laptop za obavljanje školskih obveza, a Lupita zna staviti slušalice i slušati glazbu ili surfati internetom na mobitelu. Povezane smo za cijeli život, no snalazimo se prilično dobro tako da nam ne nedostaje neovisnosti, tvrdi.

Između ostalih izazova, djevojke se susreću i s onima ljubavne prirode. Lupita za sebe kaže da je aseksualna dok je Carmen oduvijek žudjela za partnerom pa je prije nekoliko godina počela tražiti ljubav na aplikaciji za spojeve.

- Dobivala sam puno poruka od muškaraca koji imaju neke fetiše nakon što sam na svom profilu napisala da sam sijamska blizanka, prisjetila se. Ipak, u listopadu 2020. je upoznala Daniela. 

- Odmah sam znala da je Daniel drugačiji od ostalih, jer nije postavljao pitanja o mom stanju. Zajedno smo dvije i pol godine i razgovarali smo već o zarukama, ali prvo želimo živjeti zajedno, rekla je Carmen i dodala da se njezin dečko i Lupita jako dobro slažu te da nekada razgovaraju dugo u noć, čak i kada ona zaspe.

Djevojke vrlo otvoreno pričaju o svom stanju na društvenim mrežama, a unatoč ružnim komentarima, ustraju us vom cilju. 

- Nadamo se svojom iskrenošću pomoći u, da tako kažem, normalizaciji sijamskih blizanaca. Mnogi ljudi nisu navikli da osobe s invaliditetom postavljaju granice ili stvaraju granice kada je njihov invaliditet u pitanju. Dobivamo puno pitanja o seksu, o tome kako idemo na zahod i sličnim stvarima. Ali, morate zapamtiti: mi nismo samo sijamski blizanci, mi smo ljudi, tvrdi Carmen.

Carmen i Lupita Andrade su 22-godišnje sijamske blizanke iz Meksika. Djevojke žive u SAD-u, u Connecticutu i slažu se vrlo dobro, unatoč tome što su spojene torzom - zbog čega imaju zajedničku zdjelicu i reproduktivni sustav. Obje djevojke imaju po dvije ruke, ali svaka ima jednu nogu - Carmen ima kontrolu nad desnom, a Lupita nad lijevom, prenose 24 Sata.

Blizanke su nedavno gostovale u emisiji Today, a otkrile su kako im izgleda svakodnevica, vožnja automobila i ljubavni životi. Također su objasnile da ih liječnici nisu mogli razdvojiti jer bi takav zahvat bio previše riskantan.

- Da smo bile podvrgnute takvom zahvatu jedna od nas bi umrla, a možda i obje. Moguće je i da bismo završile na odjelu intenzivne njege s kojeg nikad više ne bi izašle, rekla je Lupita i dodala:

- Rekli su našim roditeljima da ćemo vjerojatno živjeti samo nekoliko dana, ali prevarili su se. Godine smo provele na fizikalnim terapijama još otkako smo bile bebe. Učili su nas kako sjediti i zajednički koristiti noge. Prve korake napravile smo u dobi od četiri godine.

Djevojke su se tijekom odrastanja savršeno prilagodile jedna drugoj pa danas bez problema čak i voze.

- Idemo u kino i na koncerte gdje dijelimo jedno sjedalo, i putujemo avionom. Prošle godine smo išle u Kaliforniju, a letjele smo i u Teksas, prepričala je Carmen i objasnila što učine kada žele biti same. 

- Tada odemo na različite uređaje i radimo svaka što želi. Ja imam svoj laptop za obavljanje školskih obveza, a Lupita zna staviti slušalice i slušati glazbu ili surfati internetom na mobitelu. Povezane smo za cijeli život, no snalazimo se prilično dobro tako da nam ne nedostaje neovisnosti, tvrdi.

Između ostalih izazova, djevojke se susreću i s onima ljubavne prirode. Lupita za sebe kaže da je aseksualna dok je Carmen oduvijek žudjela za partnerom pa je prije nekoliko godina počela tražiti ljubav na aplikaciji za spojeve.

- Dobivala sam puno poruka od muškaraca koji imaju neke fetiše nakon što sam na svom profilu napisala da sam sijamska blizanka, prisjetila se. Ipak, u listopadu 2020. je upoznala Daniela. 

- Odmah sam znala da je Daniel drugačiji od ostalih, jer nije postavljao pitanja o mom stanju. Zajedno smo dvije i pol godine i razgovarali smo već o zarukama, ali prvo želimo živjeti zajedno, rekla je Carmen i dodala da se njezin dečko i Lupita jako dobro slažu te da nekada razgovaraju dugo u noć, čak i kada ona zaspe.

Djevojke vrlo otvoreno pričaju o svom stanju na društvenim mrežama, a unatoč ružnim komentarima, ustraju us vom cilju. 

- Nadamo se svojom iskrenošću pomoći u, da tako kažem, normalizaciji sijamskih blizanaca. Mnogi ljudi nisu navikli da osobe s invaliditetom postavljaju granice ili stvaraju granice kada je njihov invaliditet u pitanju. Dobivamo puno pitanja o seksu, o tome kako idemo na zahod i sličnim stvarima. Ali, morate zapamtiti: mi nismo samo sijamski blizanci, mi smo ljudi, tvrdi Carmen.

Carmen i Lupita Andrade su 22-godišnje sijamske blizanke iz Meksika. Djevojke žive u SAD-u, u Connecticutu i slažu se vrlo dobro, unatoč tome što su spojene torzom - zbog čega imaju zajedničku zdjelicu i reproduktivni sustav. Obje djevojke imaju po dvije ruke, ali svaka ima jednu nogu - Carmen ima kontrolu nad desnom, a Lupita nad lijevom, prenose 24 Sata.
