U današnje vrijeme sve češće koristimo kartice za plaćanje, no znate li kada treba koristiti debitnu karticu, a kada kreditnu karticu?

Iako debitne kartice nude zaštitu od prijevare i krađe, treba ih oprezno koristiti jer su izravno povezane s vašim bankovnim računom. Kreditna kartica

U današnje vrijeme sve češće koristimo kartice za plaćanje, no znate li kada treba koristiti debitnu karticu, a kada kreditnu karticu?

Iako debitne kartice nude zaštitu od prijevare i krađe, treba ih oprezno koristiti jer su izravno povezane s vašim bankovnim računom. Dobro čuvajte svoj PIN i pazite na svoje okruženje dok ste na bankomatu. Često provjeravajte svoje izvode i, ako ih primijetite, odmah prijavite sumnjive aktivnosti svojoj banci, piše Poslovni.hr.

“Zaštita od prijevare s debitnom karticom uvelike ovisi o tome koliko brzo prijavite prijevaru, a lopov bi mogao isprazniti vaš bankovni račun prije nego što uopće shvatite da su vam podaci ili kartica ukradeni”, kaže Brooklyn Lowery, direktor uredništva stranice koja se bavi usporedbom kreditnih kartica CardRatings.

Na debitnoj kartici lakše je pratiti ulazne i izlazne troškove, a ako niste oprezni, kreditna kartica vas može navesti na impulzivnu kupnju. Tako možete brzo upasti u dugove.

Financijska savjetnica Jamilah N. McCluney jednostavno je pojasnila kako koristiti debitnu karticu. “Tretirajte debitnu karticu kao gotovinu.”

Još je jedan slučaj u kojemu je bolje koristiti debitnu nego kreditnu karticu: koristite debitnu karticu za podizanje gotovine.

Kreditna kartica

U tri je slučaja korisnije upotrebljavati kreditnu karticu. Kreditnu karticu sigurnije je koristiti za online kupovinu i to ponajviše zato da vaši privatni podaci ne budu svugdje po internetu.

Koristite kreditnu karticu za sva ponavljajuća plaćanja. Primjerice, za godišnje ili mjesečne pretplate na usluge kao što su Netflix, Amazon Prime ili Spotify koristite kreditnu karticu.

Obavezno provjerite izvode svoje kreditne kartice kako biste znali koje vam se pretplatničke usluge naplaćuju. Tako ćete spriječiti uzaludno trošenje novca na usluge koje više možda ne koristite.

U današnje vrijeme sve češće koristimo kartice za plaćanje, no znate li kada treba koristiti debitnu karticu, a kada kreditnu karticu?

Iako debitne kartice nude zaštitu od prijevare i krađe, treba ih oprezno koristiti jer su izravno povezane s vašim bankovnim računom. Dobro čuvajte svoj PIN i pazite na svoje okruženje dok ste na bankomatu. Često provjeravajte svoje izvode i, ako ih primijetite, odmah prijavite sumnjive aktivnosti svojoj banci, piše Poslovni.hr.

“Zaštita od prijevare s debitnom karticom uvelike ovisi o tome koliko brzo prijavite prijevaru, a lopov bi mogao isprazniti vaš bankovni račun prije nego što uopće shvatite da su vam podaci ili kartica ukradeni”, kaže Brooklyn Lowery, direktor uredništva stranice koja se bavi usporedbom kreditnih kartica CardRatings....
