Muškarac iz Tuzle u Bosni i Hercegovini, Muhamed Mešić pravi je fenomen. Naime, on s 39 godina govori preko 70 jezika, a sa samo 16 godina bio je postavljen na poziciju gradskog odbornika, piše Stil.

Mešić je i dobitnik prestižne nagrade “Brainswork Make a Difference Award”, koju je 2010. godine osvojio u Beču. On je do sada radio u 20 zemalja, na četiri kontinenta, a bio je savjetnik predsjednika Makedonije i savjetnik gradonačelnika Tuzle. Kasnije se odselio u Beč, gdje je vodio pravni dio jedne građevinske firme, a tamo živi i danas.

Ovo "čudo od čovjeka" tvrdi da je veliku brojku stranih jezika savladao na poprilično jednostavan način.

"Važno je imati želju, a ja sam je imao. Silna ljudska volja je čudo - ona je najčešće glavni "krivac" za naše uspjehe. Svijet na drugim jezicima izgleda drugačije, dok sva ta različita razmišljanja na stranim jezicima imaju sposobnost stvarati sasvim drugačiju sliku nego na drugom. Perspektiva je također drugačija kada jednu riječ prevedete na nekoliko jezika. Prvi kontakt sa stranim jezikom bio mi je s grčkim, kada sam kao mali sa svojim roditeljima bio na ljetovanju u Grčkoj. Da, eto upravo to me je inspiriralo", rekao je.

“Sjedio sam u hladu i slušao kako vlasnica i njezina kćerka razgovaraju o svakodnevnim stvarima. Žena je rekla svojoj kćerki na grčkom, u doslovnom prijevodu, ‘ovo je mašina za veš’. Meni je ta riječ ‚mašina za veš‘ ostala kao prva u sjećanju“, prisjeća se Muhamed.

On savršeno priča na 12 jezika, dok razumije i razgovara na još 61 stranom jeziku, ali s manjom preciznošću. On tvrdi da se svaki jezik može savladati uz dovoljnu snagu volje i dobro savladavanje gradiva. Njemu su da nauči osnove novog jezika potrebni jedan ili dva tjedna.

"Znate, nekad nije dovoljno samo željeti, treba biti uporan. Tako je i kada su jezici u pitanju, kao i sve druge znanosti. Morate naći način na koji najlakše i najefikasnije savladate gradivo i ako ste uporni, uspjeh je zagarantiran, rekao je.

Ovaj muškarac je počeo čitati i pisati u vrlo ranoj dobi i kao malom mu je bilo prirodnije pisati s desna na lijevo. Danas Muhamed bilješke sa sastanka piše na hebrejsko ili arapskom jeziku. 

“Prema nekoj mojoj definiciji, jezik govorim točno onda kada mogu ostvariti samostalnu svakodnevnu komunikaciju, poput one koju imate kad sjedite s nekim u autobusu. Jezike koje duže govorim i s kojima se duže družim, poput engleskog, talijanskog, portugalskog i turskog su jezici koje govorim najbolje“, tvrdi Muhamed.

Mešić je u Tuzli završio osnovnu i srednju školu, a za vrijeme rata je često sretao vojnike UNPROFOR-a iz Švedske, Pakistana i Norveške. Tada je iz čiste radoznalosti "pokupio" nekoliko riječi na švedskom, urdu i norveškom. Kada je upisivao fakultet, privlačile su ga znanosti poput japanologije, semantike i judaistike, a najbliža mjesta za te studije bili su Beograd i Beč. On je stoga odabrao Beč.

“S obzirom na to da sam išao u građevinsku školu, radim u građevinskoj firmi, a kako sam studirao pravo, obavljam posao pravnika. Jako volim jezike i putovanja, upoznavanje ljude, druge kulture i zemlje pa je ovo idealan angažman za mene. Od 360 dana u godini ja ih više od 200 provedem u avionu. Uvijek putujem na razna predavanja, seminare, obuke... Ali ne žalim.”, objasnio je. 

Inače, Mešić je zbog svog posla radio na području koji se prostire od Švicarske do Turske pa je često bio u Češkoj, Italiji, Grčkoj i Mađarskoj. Danas je direktor velike građevinske firme u Austriji.

Muškarac iz Tuzle u Bosni i Hercegovini, Muhamed Mešić pravi je fenomen. Naime, on s 39 godina govori preko 70 jezika, a sa samo 16 godina bio je postavljen na poziciju gradskog odbornika, piše Stil.

Mešić je i dobitnik prestižne nagrade “Brainswork Make a Difference Award”, koju je 2010. godine osvojio u Beču. On je do sada radio u 20 zemalja, na četiri kontinenta, a bio je savjetnik predsjednika Makedonije i savjetnik gradonačelnika Tuzle. Kasnije se odselio u Beč, gdje je vodio pravni dio jedne građevinske firme, a tamo živi i danas.

Ovo "čudo od čovjeka" tvrdi da je veliku brojku stranih jezika savladao na poprilično jednostavan način.

"Važno je imati želju, a ja sam je imao. Silna ljudska volja je čudo - ona je najčešće glavni "krivac" za naše uspjehe. Svijet na drugim jezicima izgleda drugačije, dok sva ta različita razmišljanja na stranim jezicima imaju sposobnost stvarati sasvim drugačiju sliku nego na drugom. Perspektiva je također drugačija kada jednu riječ prevedete na nekoliko jezika. Prvi kontakt sa stranim jezikom bio mi je s grčkim, kada sam kao mali sa svojim roditeljima bio na ljetovanju u Grčkoj. Da, eto upravo to me je inspiriralo", rekao je.

“Sjedio sam u hladu i slušao kako vlasnica i njezina kćerka razgovaraju o svakodnevnim stvarima. Žena je rekla svojoj kćerki na grčkom, u doslovnom prijevodu, ‘ovo je mašina za veš’. Meni je ta riječ ‚mašina za veš‘ ostala kao prva u sjećanju“, prisjeća se Muhamed.

On savršeno priča na 12 jezika, dok razumije i razgovara na još 61 stranom jeziku, ali s manjom preciznošću. On tvrdi da se svaki jezik može savladati uz dovoljnu snagu volje i dobro savladavanje gradiva. Njemu su da nauči osnove novog jezika potrebni jedan ili dva tjedna.

"Znate, nekad nije dovoljno samo željeti, treba biti uporan. Tako je i kada su jezici u pitanju, kao i sve druge znanosti. Morate naći način na koji najlakše i najefikasnije savladate gradivo i ako ste uporni, uspjeh je zagarantiran, rekao je.

Ovaj muškarac je počeo čitati i pisati u vrlo ranoj dobi i kao malom mu je bilo prirodnije pisati s desna na lijevo. Danas Muhamed bilješke sa sastanka piše na hebrejsko ili arapskom jeziku. 

“Prema nekoj mojoj definiciji, jezik govorim točno onda kada mogu ostvariti samostalnu svakodnevnu komunikaciju, poput one koju imate kad sjedite s nekim u autobusu. Jezike koje duže govorim i s kojima se duže družim, poput engleskog, talijanskog, portugalskog i turskog su jezici koje govorim najbolje“, tvrdi Muhamed.

Mešić je u Tuzli završio osnovnu i srednju školu, a za vrijeme rata je često sretao vojnike UNPROFOR-a iz Švedske, Pakistana i Norveške. Tada je iz čiste radoznalosti "pokupio" nekoliko riječi na švedskom, urdu i norveškom. Kada je upisivao fakultet, privlačile su ga znanosti poput japanologije, semantike i judaistike, a najbliža mjesta za te studije bili su Beograd i Beč. On je stoga odabrao Beč.

“S obzirom na to da sam išao u građevinsku školu, radim u građevinskoj firmi, a kako sam studirao pravo, obavljam posao pravnika. Jako volim jezike i putovanja, upoznavanje ljude, druge kulture i zemlje pa je ovo idealan angažman za mene. Od 360 dana u godini ja ih više od 200 provedem u avionu. Uvijek putujem na razna predavanja, seminare, obuke... Ali ne žalim.”, objasnio je. 

Inače, Mešić je zbog svog posla radio na području koji se prostire od Švicarske do Turske pa je često bio u Češkoj, Italiji, Grčkoj i Mađarskoj. Danas je direktor velike građevinske firme u Austriji.

Muškarac iz Tuzle u Bosni i Hercegovini, Muhamed Mešić pravi je fenomen. Naime, on s 39 godina govori preko 70 jezika, a sa samo 16 godina bio je postavljen na poziciju gradskog odbornika, piše Stil.

Mešić je i dobitnik prestižne nagrade “Brainswork Make a Difference Award”, koju je 2010. godine osvojio u Beču. On je do sada radio u 20 zemalja, na četiri kontinenta, a bio je savjetnik predsjednika Makedonije i savjetnik gradonačelnika Tuzle. Kasnije se odselio u Beč, gdje je vodio pravni dio jedne građevinske firme, a tamo živi i danas.
