Kada je u rujnu 2019. godine tada četverogodišnja princeza Charlotte krenula u prvi razred nije ni bila svjesna strogih pravila u školi Thomas's Battersea, piše The Sun.
Londonska škola koju unuci britanskog princa Charlesa pohađaju, Thomas’s Batterse, jedna je od najelitnijih škola, a školarina za jednu godinu stoji 150 tisuća kuna. Kako istu školu pohađaju i princeza Charlotte i princ George ostvaruje se popust na školarinu.
Iz škole su uvijek isticali (naročito kada je princ George krenuo u školu) kako im je bitno da tijekom obrazovanja djeca shvate da su dobrota i ljubaznost jednako važni kao i akademski uspjeh. Čak i na školskoj web stranici stoji da je njeno najvažnije pravilo 'biti ljubazan'.
Tada je ravnatelj Simon O'Malleya rekao da, iako su ponosni na svoj akademski uspjeh, 'veći naglasak stavljaju na skup temeljnih vrijednosti'. Osim ljubaznosti, te temeljne vrijednosti uključuju 'ljubaznost, samopouzdanje, poniznost i učenje davati, a ne uzimati'.
Od učenika se očekuje da napuste Thomas's sa snažnim osjećajem društvene odgovornosti', nastave putem da postanu 'neto suradnici društva', također i da 'cvjetaju kao savjesni i brižni građani svijeta'.
U popularnom showu Loose Women na ITV-u, voditeljica Jane Moore otkrila je neka od strogih pravila u Thomas's Battersea školi. Postoji pravilo da ako jedno dijete priređuje zabavu, osim ako svako dijete u razredu nije pozvano, ne daju se pozivnice u razredu, što Jane Moore misli da je prilično dobra stvar jer se onda niti jedno dijete ne osjeća isključeno. U školi se također ne potiče da dijete ima najbolje prijatelje.
Škola je otvorena za djecu svih vjera i potiče svoje učenike na tolerantnost prema drugim religijama. “Naš etos, ciljevi i vrijednosti aktivno podupiru podržavanje demokracije, vladavine prava, slobode pojedinca, međusobnog poštivanja i tolerancije različitih vjera i uvjerenja. To su britanske vrijednosti koje njegujemo i koje osposobljavaju učenike za život u modernoj Britaniji”, naglašava škola na svojoj web stranici.

Londonska škola koju unuci britanskog princa Charlesa pohađaju, Thomas’s Batterse, jedna je od najelitnijih škola, a školarina za jednu godinu stoji 150 tisuća kuna. Kako istu školu pohađaju i princeza Charlotte i princ George ostvaruje se popust na školarinu.
Iz škole su uvijek isticali (naročito kada je princ George krenuo u školu) kako im je bitno da tijekom obrazovanja djeca shvate da su dobrota i ljubaznost jednako važni kao i akademski uspjeh. Čak i na školskoj web stranici stoji da je njeno najvažnije pravilo 'biti ljubazan'.
Tada je ravnatelj Simon O'Malleya rekao da, iako su ponosni na svoj akademski uspjeh, 'veći naglasak stavljaju na skup temeljnih vrijednosti'. Osim ljubaznosti, te temeljne vrijednosti uključuju 'ljubaznost, samopouzdanje, poniznost i učenje davati, a ne uzimati'.
Od učenika se očekuje da napuste Thomas's sa snažnim osjećajem društvene odgovornosti', nastave putem da postanu 'neto suradnici društva', također i da 'cvjetaju kao savjesni i brižni građani svijeta'.
U popularnom showu Loose Women na ITV-u, voditeljica Jane Moore otkrila je neka od strogih pravila u Thomas's Battersea školi. Postoji pravilo da ako jedno dijete priređuje zabavu, osim ako svako dijete u razredu nije pozvano, ne daju se pozivnice u razredu, što Jane Moore misli da je prilično dobra stvar jer se onda niti jedno dijete ne osjeća isključeno. U školi se također ne potiče da dijete ima najbolje prijatelje.
Škola je otvorena za djecu svih vjera i potiče svoje učenike na tolerantnost prema drugim religijama. “Naš etos, ciljevi i vrijednosti aktivno podupiru podržavanje demokracije, vladavine prava, slobode pojedinca, međusobnog poštivanja i tolerancije različitih vjera i uvjerenja. To su britanske vrijednosti koje njegujemo i koje osposobljavaju učenike za život u modernoj Britaniji”, naglašava škola na svojoj web stranici.
