Novo istraživanje je otkrilo da postoji četiri puta veća vjerojatnost da će muškarac doživjeti srčani ili moždani udar ako ima problema s erekcijom. Ne samo to, istraživači su otkrili da postoji povezanost između bolesti desni i erektilne disfunkcije. Također, otkriveno je da se srčani ili moždani udar pojavljuju u prosjeku samo četiri godine nakon što se prvi put dijagnosticira pad seksualnog nagona - piše Živim.hr.
Studija objavljena u časopisu Journal of Periodontology pratila je 158 muškaraca srednjih godina u Španjolskoj. Autor studije profesor Francisco Meta sa Sveučilišta u Granadi otkrio je da je poveznica između bolesti desni, erektilne disfunkcije i srčanog (moždanog) udara otvrdnuće arterija.
Meta je objasnio da je okidač za to periodontitis (bolest desni) koji prvo utječe na male žile u penisu i njih stvrdnjuje. Kasnije se problem javlja i u arterijama drugih vitalnih organa.
Najčešći simptom bolesti desni je osim krvarenja zubnog mesa - loš zadah, to muškarcima može biti znak upozorenja kojim će spriječiti daljnje probleme.
Sudionici istraživanja s oba stanja (bolest desnih i erektilna disfunkcija) imali su veću vjerojatnost da će pretrpjeti moždani udar, srčani udar, smrt od kardiovaskularnih bolesti ili zatajenja srca. Također su bili rizičnija skupina za razvoj angine, a bilo je i vjerojatnije da će im biti potrebna operacija srčane premosnice.
Uz to, imali su povećani rizik od velikog kardiovaskularnog događaja (MACE = Major adverse cardiovascular event) 3,7 puta.
- Početak erektilne disfunkcije mogao bi biti znak upozorenja za potencijalno ozbiljnija kardiovaskularna stanja - rekao je Francisco Meta.
Prije pet godina isti je tim pokazao da je stopa erektilne disfunkcije više nego dvostruko veća kod muškaraca s bolešću zubnog mesa.
- Ovi rezultati su izuzetno važni, s obzirom na to da MACE može ugroziti život muškarca srednje dobi - istaknuo je Meta.
Žile penisa su manje od koronarnih arterija. Bolesnici s otvrdnućem arterija vjerojatnije će u početku imati erektilnu disfunkciju. Impotencija je snažan prediktor srčanog udara među visokorizičnim pacijentima, kao što pokazuju prijašnja istraživanja.
Isto tako, važno je znati da su rizični čimbenici za erektilnu disfunkciju jednaki rizičnim čimbenicima za bolesti srca i krvnih žila: pušenje, šećerna bolest, fizička neaktivnost, sedentarni način života, povišen krvni tlak, povišene masnoće u krvi. Razlog je taj što je penisna arterija jedna od najužih u tijelu (uža je od arterija koje opskrbljuju krvlju srce), te je jedna od prvih koja će se suziti i začepiti kad dođe do odlaganja masnoća u krvnim žilama, te može biti preteča budućeg srčanog infarkta.

Novo istraživanje je otkrilo da postoji četiri puta veća vjerojatnost da će muškarac doživjeti srčani ili moždani udar ako ima problema s erekcijom. Ne samo to, istraživači su otkrili da postoji povezanost između bolesti desni i erektilne disfunkcije. Također, otkriveno je da se srčani ili moždani udar pojavljuju u prosjeku samo četiri godine nakon što se prvi put dijagnosticira pad seksualnog nagona - piše Živim.hr.
Studija objavljena u časopisu Journal of Periodontology pratila je 158 muškaraca srednjih godina u Španjolskoj. Autor studije profesor Francisco Meta sa Sveučilišta u Granadi otkrio je da je poveznica između bolesti desni, erektilne disfunkcije i srčanog (moždanog) udara otvrdnuće arterija.
Meta je objasnio da je okidač za to periodontitis (bolest desni) koji prvo utječe na male žile u penisu i njih stvrdnjuje. Kasnije se problem javlja i u arterijama drugih vitalnih organa.
Najčešći simptom bolesti desni je osim krvarenja zubnog mesa - loš zadah, to muškarcima može biti znak upozorenja kojim će spriječiti daljnje probleme.
Sudionici istraživanja s oba stanja (bolest desnih i erektilna disfunkcija) imali su veću vjerojatnost da će pretrpjeti moždani udar, srčani udar, smrt od kardiovaskularnih bolesti ili zatajenja srca. Također su bili rizičnija skupina za razvoj angine, a bilo je i vjerojatnije da će im biti potrebna operacija srčane premosnice.
Uz to, imali su povećani rizik od velikog kardiovaskularnog događaja (MACE = Major adverse cardiovascular event) 3,7 puta.
- Početak erektilne disfunkcije mogao bi biti znak upozorenja za potencijalno ozbiljnija kardiovaskularna stanja - rekao je Francisco Meta.
Prije pet godina isti je tim pokazao da je stopa erektilne disfunkcije više nego dvostruko veća kod muškaraca s bolešću zubnog mesa.
- Ovi rezultati su izuzetno važni, s obzirom na to da MACE može ugroziti život muškarca srednje dobi - istaknuo je Meta.
Žile penisa su manje od koronarnih arterija. Bolesnici s otvrdnućem arterija vjerojatnije će u početku imati erektilnu disfunkciju. Impotencija je snažan prediktor srčanog udara među visokorizičnim pacijentima, kao što pokazuju prijašnja istraživanja.
Isto tako, važno je znati da su rizični čimbenici za erektilnu disfunkciju jednaki rizičnim čimbenicima za bolesti srca i krvnih žila: pušenje, šećerna bolest, fizička neaktivnost, sedentarni način života, povišen krvni tlak, povišene masnoće u krvi. Razlog je taj što je penisna arterija jedna od najužih u tijelu (uža je od arterija koje opskrbljuju krvlju srce), te je jedna od prvih koja će se suziti i začepiti kad dođe do odlaganja masnoća u krvnim žilama, te može biti preteča budućeg srčanog infarkta.
