Direktor FBI-ja James Comey otkrio je na konferenciji u Washingtonu da je svjestan da mu se javnost izrugivala nakon što je priznao da ljepljivom trakom prekriva svoju web kameru na računalu, no to ga nije spriječilo da ovaj neuobičajen potez nastavi preporučati i drugim ljudima.

- Postoje neke razumne stvari koje biste u životu trebali raditi, a ovo je jedna od njih. Ako ušetate u bilo koji vladin ured uočit ćete kamere koje se nalaze poviše ekrana računala. Sve one imaju poklopac kojima ih se može zatvoriti kako bi spriječili ljude da vas bez dozvole promatraju kroz nju. Mislim da je to dobra stvar – komentirao je, usporedivši to sa zaključavanjem vrata auta i stana.

Naime, ako se hakeri domognu vašeg računala, odnosno nađu pristup web kameri, život vam se lako može pretvoriti u reality show bez da ste na to pristali. Iako su neki komentirali da je smiješno što se direktor organizacije kao što je FBI brine oko svoje privatnosti, no on je istaknuo da se treba brinuti za osobnu sigurnost kao i svi ostali građani.

Direktor FBI-ja James Comey otkrio je na konferenciji u Washingtonu da je svjestan da mu se javnost izrugivala nakon što je priznao da ljepljivom trakom prekriva svoju web kameru na računalu, no to ga nije spriječilo da ovaj neuobičajen potez nastavi preporučati i drugim ljudima.

- Postoje neke razumne stvari koje biste u životu trebali raditi, a ovo je jedna od njih. Ako ušetate u bilo koji vladin ured uočit ćete kamere koje se nalaze poviše ekrana računala. Sve one imaju poklopac kojima ih se može zatvoriti kako bi spriječili ljude da vas bez dozvole promatraju kroz nju. Mislim da je to dobra stvar – komentirao je, usporedivši to sa zaključavanjem vrata auta i stana.

Naime, ako se hakeri domognu vašeg računala, odnosno nađu pristup web kameri, život vam se lako može pretvoriti u reality show bez da ste na to pristali. Iako su neki komentirali da je smiješno što se direktor organizacije kao što je FBI brine oko svoje privatnosti, no on je istaknuo da se treba brinuti za osobnu sigurnost kao i svi ostali građani.
