Nije šala, bračka je metropola dobila gospel band “Verbum Dei”, s deset aktivnih članova, koji su prošlog tjedna u otočnu javnost izišli s programom vježbanim punih devet mjeseci.

Nije im to bilo prvo predstavljanje, ali najfrenetičnije dočekano zasigurno jest. Pratila su ga za gospel tako karakteristična pljeskanja i izvijanja tijela u ritmu žive glazbe, koje je započeo zbor, a lako prihvatila publika.

Ona je bračkom gospelu i presudila pokazavši mu kako za pjesme na engleskom jeziku s tematikom iz Evanđelja, te slavljenja Boga i Isusa, itekako ima sluha.

Jošku Bakiću, utemeljitelju zbora, i njegovim kolegama, bio je to onaj palac uvis koji im je odredio daljnja djelovanja.

Imaju već 17 skladbi

- Mi smo neka vrsta glazbenih “rekreativaca” koji su se zaljubili u gospel. I rekli - idemo nešto napraviti. Nisu nas na to namamile cure iz poznatog američkog filma “Redovnice nastupaju”, iako se s tom poveznicom uvijek znamo našaliti. Jednostavno, skupilo se nas nekoliko istomišljenika i krenulo u svijet glazbe kakva nije baš česta na našim prostorima – kaže Bakić, koji je prije tri godine stres iz Splita odlučio zamijeniti mnogo ležernijim otočnim načinom života.



“Verbum Dei” nije samo prijateljska, nego i obiteljska skupina. Čak sedam članova, ističe Bakić, dolazi iz triju obitelji mahom lociranih na potezu od Supetra do Nerežišća.

Najmlađa članica, Martina Vuletić, učenica je sedmog razreda supetarske osnovne škole, a ostali članovi su ljudi različitih zanimanja i stručnih sprema. Izvode za crnačku duhovnu glazbu karakteristično višeglasje, u kojem svaki od članova u nekoj od skladbi dobiva glavnu ulogu.



- Osnova našeg repertoara je mješavina jazza, bluesa, rocka, funkyja, svega tu pomalo ima. Željeli smo napraviti neku malo življu i moderniju verziju gospela pa smo tako unijeli i određene novine. Ja sam inače zadužen za pisanje glazbenih partitura, a ako treba, zbog olakšanja posla, napravim i kućnu snimku. U počecima je bilo malo zapinjanja, no s vremenom smo uz veliku volju sve prebrodili. Iza nas je već 17 skladbi – kaže Joško Bakić, koji u svojoj glazbenoj biografiji bilježi rad s brojnim splitskim glazbenicima.

Bog i ABBA

“Verbum Dei” širit će repertoar i na druge glazbene žanrove. S obzirom da djevojke iznimno vole ABBA-u, uskoro će band početi i s uvježbavanjem nekih njihovih uspješnica. Pet žena i isto toliko muškaraca na nastupima nose toge ili tunike, ali koreografiju ne uvježbavaju posebno. Ono što iz njih iziđe na pozornici čisti je odraz trenutačnoga glazbenog zanosa.

Nije šala, bračka je metropola dobila gospel band “Verbum Dei”, s deset aktivnih članova, koji su prošlog tjedna u otočnu javnost izišli s programom vježbanim punih devet mjeseci.

Nije im to bilo prvo predstavljanje, ali najfrenetičnije dočekano zasigurno jest. Pratila su ga za gospel tako karakteristična pljeskanja i izvijanja tijela u ritmu žive glazbe, koje je započeo zbor, a lako prihvatila publika.

Ona je bračkom gospelu i presudila pokazavši mu kako za pjesme na engleskom jeziku s tematikom iz Evanđelja, te slavljenja Boga i Isusa, itekako ima sluha.

Jošku Bakiću, utemeljitelju zbora, i njegovim kolegama, bio je to onaj palac uvis koji im je odredio daljnja djelovanja.

Imaju već 17 skladbi

- Mi smo neka vrsta glazbenih “rekreativaca” koji su se zaljubili u gospel. I rekli - idemo nešto napraviti. Nisu nas na to namamile cure iz poznatog američkog filma “Redovnice nastupaju”, iako se s tom poveznicom uvijek znamo našaliti. Jednostavno, skupilo se nas nekoliko istomišljenika i krenulo u svijet glazbe kakva nije baš česta na našim prostorima – kaže Bakić, koji je prije tri godine stres iz Splita odlučio zamijeniti mnogo ležernijim otočnim načinom života.



“Verbum Dei” nije samo prijateljska, nego i obiteljska skupina. Čak sedam članova, ističe Bakić, dolazi iz triju obitelji mahom lociranih na potezu od Supetra do Nerežišća.

Najmlađa članica, Martina Vuletić, učenica je sedmog razreda supetarske osnovne škole, a ostali članovi su ljudi različitih zanimanja i stručnih sprema. Izvode za crnačku duhovnu glazbu karakteristično višeglasje, u kojem svaki od članova u nekoj od skladbi dobiva glavnu ulogu.



- Osnova našeg repertoara je mješavina jazza, bluesa, rocka, funkyja, svega tu pomalo ima. Željeli smo napraviti neku malo življu i moderniju verziju gospela pa smo tako unijeli i određene novine. Ja sam inače zadužen za pisanje glazbenih partitura, a ako treba, zbog olakšanja posla, napravim i kućnu snimku. U počecima je bilo malo zapinjanja, no s vremenom smo uz veliku volju sve prebrodili. Iza nas je već 17 skladbi – kaže Joško Bakić, koji u svojoj glazbenoj biografiji bilježi rad s brojnim splitskim glazbenicima.

Bog i ABBA

“Verbum Dei” širit će repertoar i na druge glazbene žanrove. S obzirom da djevojke iznimno vole ABBA-u, uskoro će band početi i s uvježbavanjem nekih njihovih uspješnica. Pet žena i isto toliko muškaraca na nastupima nose toge ili tunike, ali koreografiju ne uvježbavaju posebno. Ono što iz njih iziđe na pozornici čisti je odraz trenutačnoga glazbenog zanosa.
