Razlog ugradnje parcijalne endoproteze koljena je artroza, odnosno propadanje hrskavice, otkrili su novinarima
Jutarnjeg lista liječnički izvori.
Inače, artroza je najčešća bolest zglobova, a osobito u starijoj dobi, kad može izazvati jake bolove, osobito prilikom penjanja uz stepenice ili hoda po neravnoj površini.
Kad fizikalna terapije ili biološke injekcije više ne pomažu, što je očito bio slučaj i kod Radeljaka, jedini izlaz je endoproteza.
Ipak, Radeljaku nije zamijenjeno cijelo koljeno nego samo oštećeni dijelovi. Liječnici kažu da se u takvim operacijama nastoji sačuvati što više zdravih dijelova koljena, a oštećeni se nadomješta metalom ili poliuretanom, ovisno o tome koji dio zgloba treba zamijeniti.

Razlog ugradnje parcijalne endoproteze koljena je artroza, odnosno propadanje hrskavice, otkrili su novinarima
Jutarnjeg lista liječnički izvori.
Inače, artroza je najčešća bolest zglobova, a osobito u starijoj dobi, kad može izazvati jake bolove, osobito prilikom penjanja uz stepenice ili hoda po neravnoj površini.
Kad fizikalna terapije ili biološke injekcije više ne pomažu, što je očito bio slučaj i kod Radeljaka, jedini izlaz je endoproteza.
Ipak, Radeljaku nije zamijenjeno cijelo koljeno nego samo oštećeni dijelovi. Liječnici kažu da se u takvim operacijama nastoji sačuvati što više zdravih dijelova koljena, a oštećeni se nadomješta metalom ili poliuretanom, ovisno o tome koji dio zgloba treba zamijeniti.
