Drevna Venecija, grad-spomenik koji se nalazi na UNESCO-vu popisu svjetske kulturne baštine, dobio je sponzora, i to ni više ni manje nego Coca Colu.
Američki koncern Coca Cola platit će Veneciji u idućih pet godina 2,1 milijuna eura, a za uzvrat će po gradu postaviti automate za piće i brzu hranu, objavio je u ponedjeljak torinski dnevni list La Stampa.
Venecijanska gradska uprava priopćila je da će automati biti postavljeni na mjestima gdje ne upadaju previše u oči, primjerice uz pristaništa vaporetta, gradskih transportnih brodica, i daleko od gradskih znamenitosti poput Trga sv. Marka ili Rialta.
Sponzorski ugovor s Coca Colom izazvao je žestoki prosvjed venecijanskih ugostitelja, koji već ionako trpe od posljedica gospodarske krize. Ugostitelji se pribojavaju da će im Coca Cola sa svojim automatima dodatno oduzeti goste.
Gradske su blagajne prazne i nema više novca za obnovu palača, izjavio je nedavno venecijanski gradonačelnik Massimo Cacciari.
Planirani sustav vodenih ustava MOSE, koji bi grad trebao štititi od plime, Veneciju će stajati više od 650 milijuna eura. Zbog toga neće biti dovoljno novca za restauratorske radove u gradu.
Gradonačelnik se inače protivi gradnji sustava MOSE, što ga podupire vlada Silvija Berlusconija i čija će ukupna cijena biti 4,5 milijardi eura.
Venecija očekuje znatno smanjeni broj gostiju zbog financijske krize. Već 2008. zabilježen je pad broja turista za 2,5 posto, a broj inozemnih posjetitelja smanjio se čak za 3,6 posto.

Drevna Venecija, grad-spomenik koji se nalazi na UNESCO-vu popisu svjetske kulturne baštine, dobio je sponzora, i to ni više ni manje nego Coca Colu.
Američki koncern Coca Cola platit će Veneciji u idućih pet godina 2,1 milijuna eura, a za uzvrat će po gradu postaviti automate za piće i brzu hranu, objavio je u ponedjeljak torinski dnevni list La Stampa.
Venecijanska gradska uprava priopćila je da će automati biti postavljeni na mjestima gdje ne upadaju previše u oči, primjerice uz pristaništa vaporetta, gradskih transportnih brodica, i daleko od gradskih znamenitosti poput Trga sv. Marka ili Rialta.
Sponzorski ugovor s Coca Colom izazvao je žestoki prosvjed venecijanskih ugostitelja, koji već ionako trpe od posljedica gospodarske krize. Ugostitelji se pribojavaju da će im Coca Cola sa svojim automatima dodatno oduzeti goste.
Gradske su blagajne prazne i nema više novca za obnovu palača, izjavio je nedavno venecijanski gradonačelnik Massimo Cacciari.
Planirani sustav vodenih ustava MOSE, koji bi grad trebao štititi od plime, Veneciju će stajati više od 650 milijuna eura. Zbog toga neće biti dovoljno novca za restauratorske radove u gradu.
Gradonačelnik se inače protivi gradnji sustava MOSE, što ga podupire vlada Silvija Berlusconija i čija će ukupna cijena biti 4,5 milijardi eura.
Venecija očekuje znatno smanjeni broj gostiju zbog financijske krize. Već 2008. zabilježen je pad broja turista za 2,5 posto, a broj inozemnih posjetitelja smanjio se čak za 3,6 posto.
