Koliko udah orašastih plodova može biti opasan ako nema brze i pravilne medicinske intervencije pokazao je slučaj iz osječke bolnice gdje je dovezen 14-godišnjak koji je udahnuo kikiriki - javlja Portal Zdravlje.

Iako izvan radnoga vremena, pedijatar dr. sc. Matej Šapina, zamjenik predstojnika Klinike za pedijatriju, žurno je nakon telefonskog poziva otišao u bolnicu i u svega desetak minuta spasio mladog Osječanina dodatnih komplikacija.

– Pojavila se sumnja da je dječak udahnuo strano tijelo, a kako je jeo kikiriki bilo je vrlo vjerojatno da je udahnuo njega. Bio je uplašen, blijed, znojio se, otežano te plitko disao. Čulo se i tzv. "zviždanje" na jednoj strani. Zabrinjavajuće je bilo i to što je kratkotrajno poplavio i nismo u prvi mah znali je li kikiriki otišao lijevo ili desno ili čak ostao poprijeko. U tom slučaju ne može se ventilirati nijedno plućno krilo - ispričao je dr. Šapina.

Inspekcija dišnih puteva

Odmah po dolasku u bolnicu i uz prethodnu anesteziju dječaka krenuo je s inspekcijom dišnih puteva pomoću fleksibilnog bronhoskopa. Potom i kliješta te izvukao kikiriki iz pluća dječaka.

– Uz vrhunski tim liječnika, anesteziologa i otorinca uspjeli smo ovaj put bez intubacije i upotrebe respiratora izvući strano tijelo. Ovaj put bio je to jedan centimetar dug kikiriki koji je, srećom, izvučen na vrijeme. Pacijent je drugo jutro već pušten iz bolnice. Moram naglasiti da bi ta veličina kikirikija vjerojatno bila smrtonosna za dijete manje od godine. U ovom slučaju, da nismo izveli hitnu bronhoskopsku intervenciju moguće je da bi došlo do ozbiljnih komplikacija - pojašnjava dr. Šapina.

Ovaj put sve je prošlo bez njih i sa sretnim završetkom.

- Dječak je odmah nakon bronhoskopije izrazio želju za hranom. Za svime, samo ne za kikirikijem - kaže kroz smijeh dr. Šapina za Portal Zdravlje.

Koliko udah orašastih plodova može biti opasan ako nema brze i pravilne medicinske intervencije pokazao je slučaj iz osječke bolnice gdje je dovezen 14-godišnjak koji je udahnuo kikiriki - javlja Portal Zdravlje.

Iako izvan radnoga vremena, pedijatar dr. sc. Matej Šapina, zamjenik predstojnika Klinike za pedijatriju, žurno je nakon telefonskog poziva otišao u bolnicu i u svega desetak minuta spasio mladog Osječanina dodatnih komplikacija.

– Pojavila se sumnja da je dječak udahnuo strano tijelo, a kako je jeo kikiriki bilo je vrlo vjerojatno da je udahnuo njega. Bio je uplašen, blijed, znojio se, otežano te plitko disao. Čulo se i tzv. "zviždanje" na jednoj strani. Zabrinjavajuće je bilo i to što je kratkotrajno poplavio i nismo u prvi mah znali je li kikiriki otišao lijevo ili desno ili čak ostao poprijeko. U tom slučaju ne može se ventilirati nijedno plućno krilo - ispričao je dr. Šapina.

Inspekcija dišnih puteva

Odmah po dolasku u bolnicu i uz prethodnu anesteziju dječaka krenuo je s inspekcijom dišnih puteva pomoću fleksibilnog bronhoskopa. Potom i kliješta te izvukao kikiriki iz pluća dječaka.

– Uz vrhunski tim liječnika, anesteziologa i otorinca uspjeli smo ovaj put bez intubacije i upotrebe respiratora izvući strano tijelo. Ovaj put bio je to jedan centimetar dug kikiriki koji je, srećom, izvučen na vrijeme. Pacijent je drugo jutro već pušten iz bolnice. Moram naglasiti da bi ta veličina kikirikija vjerojatno bila smrtonosna za dijete manje od godine. U ovom slučaju, da nismo izveli hitnu bronhoskopsku intervenciju moguće je da bi došlo do ozbiljnih komplikacija - pojašnjava dr. Šapina.

Ovaj put sve je prošlo bez njih i sa sretnim završetkom.

- Dječak je odmah nakon bronhoskopije izrazio želju za hranom. Za svime, samo ne za kikirikijem - kaže kroz smijeh dr. Šapina za Portal Zdravlje.

Koliko udah orašastih plodova može biti opasan ako nema brze i pravilne medicinske intervencije pokazao je slučaj iz osječke bolnice gdje je dovezen 14-godišnjak koji je udahnuo kikiriki - javlja Portal Zdravlje.

Iako izvan radnoga vremena, pedijatar dr. sc. Matej Šapina, zamjenik predstojnika Klinike za pedijatriju, žurno je nakon telefonskog poziva otišao u bolnicu i u svega desetak minuta spasio mladog Osječanina dodatnih komplikacija.

– Pojavila se sumnja da je dječak udahnuo strano tijelo, a kako je jeo kikiriki bilo je vrlo vjerojatno da je udahnuo njega. Bio je uplašen, blijed, znojio se, otežano te plitko disao. Čulo se i tzv.
