Podrumi su čest izvor problema u kućanstvima, od cijevi koje cure do uporne plijesni i raznih štetočina.

Postoji još jedan problem koji vas može zateći u podrumu, pogtovo tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, a to je posjet zmije.

“Podrumi mogu biti sigurna utočišta za zmije. Tamni, hladan i thi prostor slični su podzemnim jazbinama kakve zmije vole u divljini”, kaže stručnjak za zmije A.H. David.  “Još je veća vjerojatnost za to ako se podrum rijetko koristi”

Hrpa drva

Iako držanje drva za ogrjev u podrumu može pomoći da oslobodite prostor u dnevnoj sobi, to također može učiniti taj podzemni prostor privlačnijim za zmije. “Mala hrpa dovoljna je da se zmije privuku jer zmijama pruža hladno i tamno utočište kakvo vole”, kaže stručnjak za štetočine Ethan Howell.

Deke

Niste jedini koji se vole sklupčati pod toplim pokrivačem kad temperatura padne – zmije možda traže sličnu udobnost u vašem podrumu. “Ako imate deke ili krpe u otvorenim posudama, pružate savršeno toplo i ugodno okruženje za zmiju da napravi svoj dom”, objašnjava stručnjak za štetočinu Eric Hoffer.

Ustajala voda

Curenje vode u podrumu može izazavati više problema od razvoja plijesni. “Zmije vole vlagu i ako vaš podrum ima stalnu opskrbu vodom ili ima ustajalu vodu, to bi bilo pogodno skrovište za njih”, objašnjava entomolog Ryan Smith. Također ističe da čak i samo kondenzacija može privući zmije.

Nered

“Zmije će privući vaš podrum ako im nudi zaštitu”, kaže Smith. “Neuredan podrum pruža upravo to, tako da si možete pomoći u obrani ovih gmizavaca tako što ćete se riješiti smeća i nereda.”

Glodavci

“Zmije su izvrsne u kontroli populacije glodavaca i insekata”, objašnjava David. “Ako vaš podrum ima problema sa štakorima, miševima ili velikim kukcima, zmije bi mogle biti privučene lakim obrokom.”

Nezapečaćene ulazne točke

Iako se praznina ili prostor ispod vaših podrumskih vrata možda čini malen, vjerojatno nudi više nego dovoljno mjesta da zmija uđe unutra. “Ako postoje pukotine, rupe ili nezapečaćeni otvori/prozori u temeljima ili zidovima vašeg podruma, zmije ih mogu koristiti kao ulazne točke”, kaže David, prenosi N1.

“Podrumi mogu biti sigurna utočišta za zmije. Tamni, hladan i thi prostor slični su podzemnim jazbinama kakve zmije vole u divljini”, kaže stručnjak za zmije A.H. David.  “Još je veća vjerojatnost za to ako se podrum rijetko koristi”

Hrpa drva

Iako držanje drva za ogrjev u podrumu može pomoći da oslobodite prostor u dnevnoj sobi, to također može učiniti taj podzemni prostor privlačnijim za zmije. “Mala hrpa dovoljna je da se zmije privuku jer zmijama pruža hladno i tamno utočište kakvo vole”, kaže stručnjak za štetočine Ethan Howell.

Deke

Niste jedini koji se vole sklupčati pod toplim pokrivačem kad temperatura padne – zmije možda traže sličnu udobnost u vašem podrumu. “Ako imate deke ili krpe u otvorenim posudama, pružate savršeno toplo i ugodno okruženje za zmiju da napravi svoj dom”, objašnjava stručnjak za štetočinu Eric Hoffer.

Ustajala voda

Curenje vode u podrumu može izazavati više problema od razvoja plijesni. “Zmije vole vlagu i ako vaš podrum ima stalnu opskrbu vodom ili ima ustajalu vodu, to bi bilo pogodno skrovište za njih”, objašnjava entomolog Ryan Smith. Također ističe da čak i samo kondenzacija može privući zmije.

Nered

“Zmije će privući vaš podrum ako im nudi zaštitu”, kaže Smith. “Neuredan podrum pruža upravo to, tako da si možete pomoći u obrani ovih gmizavaca tako što ćete se riješiti smeća i nereda.”

Glodavci

“Zmije su izvrsne u kontroli populacije glodavaca i insekata”, objašnjava David. “Ako vaš podrum ima problema sa štakorima, miševima ili velikim kukcima, zmije bi mogle biti privučene lakim obrokom.”

Nezapečaćene ulazne točke

Iako se praznina ili prostor ispod vaših podrumskih vrata možda čini malen, vjerojatno nudi više nego dovoljno mjesta da zmija uđe unutra. “Ako postoje pukotine, rupe ili nezapečaćeni otvori/prozori u temeljima ili zidovima vašeg podruma, zmije ih mogu koristiti kao ulazne točke”, kaže David, prenosi N1.
