Vrtoglavica je neugodna i opasna, a uzroci se često uopće ne otkrivaju. No to se može spriječiti, vjeruju korejski stručnjaci, koji su se usredotočili na promatranje bolesnika s benignom paroksizmalnom vrtoglavicom, što je najčešći oblik periferne vrtoglavice.

To je problem uzrokovan uglavnom promjenom položaja glave, poput okretanja u krevetu, ustajanja iz čučnja, ležanja ili ustajanja ili gledanja uvis.

Oboljelog obuzima osjećaj vrtoglavice i nestabilnosti, a svaka epizoda traje prosječno pola minute, tijekom koje se može pojaviti i mučnina, a problemi sprječavaju mnoge, posebno odrasle, da imaju normalan svakodnevni život. Posebne tehnike okretanja glave mogu pomoći u rješavanju problema, nakon čega se uspostavlja zdrava ravnoteža, ali problemi se ponavljaju.

Korejski neurolozi sa Sveučilišta u Seulu sada otkrivaju da bi mogli pomoći pacijentima i s određenim dodacima prehrani: polovini od gotovo 1000 sudionika studije svakodnevno je dodavan vitamin D i kalcij, dok drugoj kontrolnoj skupini nije dodan nikakav vitamin. Nakon godinu dana, rezultati su pokazali da su doze pomogle jer su sudionici doživjeli epizode vrtoglavice znatno rjeđe, 24 posto manje od onih koji te doze nisu dodavali svojoj svakodnevnoj prehrani.

Korejski stručnjaci uvjereni su da pravilna razina vitamina D i kalcija pomaže u održavanju prave ravnoteže, a dostupan je i jednostavan oblik pomoći koji može spriječiti naizgled bezopasnu, ali sigurno neugodnu bolest.

Vrtoglavica je neugodna i opasna, a uzroci se često uopće ne otkrivaju. No to se može spriječiti, vjeruju korejski stručnjaci, koji su se usredotočili na promatranje bolesnika s benignom paroksizmalnom vrtoglavicom, što je najčešći oblik periferne vrtoglavice.

To je problem uzrokovan uglavnom promjenom položaja glave, poput okretanja u krevetu, ustajanja iz čučnja, ležanja ili ustajanja ili gledanja uvis.

Oboljelog obuzima osjećaj vrtoglavice i nestabilnosti, a svaka epizoda traje prosječno pola minute, tijekom koje se može pojaviti i mučnina, a problemi sprječavaju mnoge, posebno odrasle, da imaju normalan svakodnevni život. Posebne tehnike okretanja glave mogu pomoći u rješavanju problema, nakon čega se uspostavlja zdrava ravnoteža, ali problemi se ponavljaju.

Korejski neurolozi sa Sveučilišta u Seulu sada otkrivaju da bi mogli pomoći pacijentima i s određenim dodacima prehrani: polovini od gotovo 1000 sudionika studije svakodnevno je dodavan vitamin D i kalcij, dok drugoj kontrolnoj skupini nije dodan nikakav vitamin. Nakon godinu dana, rezultati su pokazali da su doze pomogle jer su sudionici doživjeli epizode vrtoglavice znatno rjeđe, 24 posto manje od onih koji te doze nisu dodavali svojoj svakodnevnoj prehrani.

Korejski stručnjaci uvjereni su da pravilna razina vitamina D i kalcija pomaže u održavanju prave ravnoteže, a dostupan je i jednostavan oblik pomoći koji može spriječiti naizgled bezopasnu, ali sigurno neugodnu bolest.

Vrtoglavica je neugodna i opasna, a uzroci se često uopće ne otkrivaju. No to se može spriječiti, vjeruju korejski stručnjaci, koji su se usredotočili na promatranje bolesnika s benignom paroksizmalnom vrtoglavicom, što je najčešći oblik periferne vrtoglavice.

To je problem uzrokovan uglavnom promjenom položaja glave, poput okretanja u krevetu, ustajanja iz čučnja, ležanja ili ustajanja ili gledanja uvis.

Oboljelog obuzima osjećaj vrtoglavice i nestabilnosti, a svaka epizoda traje prosječno pola minute, tijekom koje se može pojaviti i mučnina, a problemi sprječavaju mnoge, posebno odrasle, da imaju normalan svakodnevni život. Posebne tehnike okretanja glave mogu pomoći u rješavanju problema, nakon čega se uspostavlja zdrava ravnoteža, ali problemi se ponavljaju.
