Karcinom grla čini oko jedan do tri posto svih karcinoma koji se godišnje dijagnosticiraju u svijetu. Iako se može pojaviti kod žena, ipak je češći kod muškaraca, a činjenica koja posebno zabrinjava je da se pojavljuje u sve mlađoj dobi. Rizični čimbenici koji se najčešće spominju su pušenje te učestalo konzumiranje alkohola. Međutim, u znatno manjoj mjeri bit će spomenut humani papiloma virus (HPV), koji, prema mladoj liječnici iz Singapura vodeći uzrok nastanka raka grla, piše Živim.hr.

Na svom TikTok profilu doktorica Daria Sadovskaya objavila je kratku video izjavu s preko 53.000 pregleda, s kojom se suprotstavila tezi da je pušenje uzrok broj jedan za razvijanje raka grla. Kako tvrdi, smatra da oralni seks glavni krivac i daleko nadmašuje i pušenje i alkohol. HPV pripada porodici virusa koji inficiraju genitalije i mogu se prenijeti u grlo tijekom oralnog seksa. Pritom, muškarci su u većem riziku budući da je veća vjerojatnost da žene prenose virus što je u svom videu potvrdila i ova mlada doktorica.

Simptomi uključuju kronični loš zadah, stalnu bol u grlu, vratu ili ušima te otežano gutanje. Ostali simptomi uključuju krv u slini, poteškoće s disanjem, promjene tonaliteta glasa, uporan kašalj i kvržicu u vratu. Kao prevenciju, ova je liječnica preporučila cijepljenje protiv HPV-a.

Karcinom grla čini oko jedan do tri posto svih karcinoma koji se godišnje dijagnosticiraju u svijetu. Iako se može pojaviti kod žena, ipak je češći kod muškaraca, a činjenica koja posebno zabrinjava je da se pojavljuje u sve mlađoj dobi. Rizični čimbenici koji se najčešće spominju su pušenje te učestalo konzumiranje alkohola. Međutim, u znatno manjoj mjeri bit će spomenut humani papiloma virus (HPV), koji, prema mladoj liječnici iz Singapura vodeći uzrok nastanka raka grla, piše Živim.hr.

Na svom TikTok profilu doktorica Daria Sadovskaya objavila je kratku video izjavu s preko 53.000 pregleda, s kojom se suprotstavila tezi da je pušenje uzrok broj jedan za razvijanje raka grla. Kako tvrdi, smatra da oralni seks glavni krivac i daleko nadmašuje i pušenje i alkohol. HPV pripada porodici virusa koji inficiraju genitalije i mogu se prenijeti u grlo tijekom oralnog seksa. Pritom, muškarci su u većem riziku budući da je veća vjerojatnost da žene prenose virus što je u svom videu potvrdila i ova mlada doktorica.

- Muškarci imaju veću vjerojatnost da će razviti rak grla prilikom čina oralnog seksa, budući da je veća vjerojatnost da će žene nositi virus u svom genitalnom području - objasnila je.

Oralni seks može dovesti do HPV infekcije u stražnjem dijelu grla ili blizu krajnika.

Većina karcinoma grla uključuje iste vrste stanica, ali se koriste specifični izrazi za kategorizaciju područja grla gdje je rak nastao. Rak nazofarinksa počinje u nazofarinksu, koji je dio grla odmah iza nosa. Rak orofarinksa počinje u orofarinksu, odnosno dijelu grla odmah iza usta koji uključuje krajnike.

Poznata je izjava američkog glumca, Michaela Douglasa kojemu je 2010. dijagnosticiran rak grla. Na pitanje žali li zbog godina pušenja i pijenja za koje se smatra da su povezani s njegovom bolešću, ovaj je glumac odgovorio pomalo neočekivano.

Karcinom grla čini oko jedan do tri posto svih karcinoma koji se godišnje dijagnosticiraju u svijetu. Iako se može pojaviti kod žena, ipak je češći kod muškaraca, a činjenica koja posebno zabrinjava je da se pojavljuje u sve mlađoj dobi. Rizični čimbenici koji se najčešće spominju su pušenje te učestalo konzumiranje alkohola. Međutim, u znatno manjoj mjeri bit će spomenut humani papiloma virus (HPV), koji, prema mladoj liječnici iz Singapura vodeći uzrok nastanka raka grla, piše Živim.hr.

Na svom TikTok profilu doktorica Daria Sadovskaya objavila je kratku video izjavu s preko 53.000 pregleda, s kojom se suprotstavila tezi da je pušenje uzrok broj jedan za razvijanje raka grla. Kako tvrdi, smatra da oralni seks glavni krivac i daleko nadmašuje i pušenje i alkohol. HPV pripada porodici virusa koji inficiraju genitalije i mogu se prenijeti u grlo tijekom oralnog seksa. Pritom, muškarci su u većem riziku budući da je veća vjerojatnost da žene prenose virus što je u svom videu potvrdila i ova mlada doktorica.
