Tko god se susreo s pankreatitisom, složit će se da ovo stanje je sve samo ne ugodno. O čemu je riječ? Pankreatitis se odnosi na upalu gušterače sa simptomima koji uključuju umjerenu do jaku bol u trbuhu koja se pogoršava kada kašljemo, ležimo ravno, krećemo se ili jedemo. Poznate su i probavne smetnje te gubitak apetita, piše Živim.

Više vrsta pankreatitisa

S obzirom na pojavu simptoma, dijelimo ga na više vrsta:

- akutni pankreatitis (upala),

- kronični pankreatitis (upala)

- apsces pankreasa (povezan s infekcijom).

Bez obzira na podjelu, ni jedan nije ugodan.

- S akutnim pankreatitisom, gušterača koja sasvim normalno funkcionira, iznenada se upali, uzrokujući umjerenu do jaku bol u trbuhu, međutim, obično se nakon napada osoba brzo oporavi - objašnjava Toufic Kachaamy, dr. med., gastroenterolog.

Simptomi akutnog pankreatitisa uključuju bol u gornjem dijelu trbuha koja se može širiti u leđa, ponekad praćena mučninom, povraćanjem, vrućicom, ubrzanim otkucajima srca i brzim, plitkim disanjem ili respiratornim zatajenjem.

- Kronični pankreatitis je rezultat kronične upale i ožiljaka koji mogu uzrokovati kroničnu bol i gubitak funkcije gušterače. Ovaj oblik obično nije reverzibilan - objašnjava gastroenterolog.

S kroničnim pankreatitisom, pacijenti mogu iskusiti simptome proljevaste, masne i uljne stolice, gubitak apetita, nenamjerni gubitak težine i ošamućenost. Kod većine pacijenata bol u trbuhu obično slijedi nakon jela. 

Kako spriječiti pankreatitis

Ako se ne želite izložiti opasnosti od pankreatitisa, izbacite ili smanjite unos alkohola. Liječnici se slažu kako pretjerano pijenje može uzrokovati pankreatitis, kao i još gore zdravstvene probleme za gušteraču.

- Obilna konzumacija alkohola često može dovesti do napadaja pankreatitisa. Ponavljajuće epizode mogu povećati rizik od raka gušterače - upozorava gastroenterolog dr. Babak Firoozi.

Pušenje također može povećati rizik od pankreatitisa, kao i raka pluća, KOPB-a i niza drugih problema. Pušenje je najviše povezano s kroničnim pankreatitisom, dok prekomjerno pijenje alkohola može uzrokovati i akutne i kronične oblike stanja.

- Ostali uzroci pankreatitisa mogu uključivati žučne kamence, dijabetes, infekcije, pretilost, visoke trigliceride - napominje dr. Sunaha Sohi, MD, gastroenterolog.

Postojeća stanja poput cistične fibroze, kao i obiteljska povijest bolesti gušterače, također mogu predstavljati povećan rizik od razvoja pankreatitisa.

Drugi načini prevencije

Osim prestanka pušenja i smanjenja unosa alkohola, još jedan od načina je procijeniti i liječiti žučne kamence ako ih imate.

- Osim poroka, žučni kamenci su vodeći uzrok pankreatitisa - kaže dr. Firoozi.

Zbog toga, zdrava prehrana može uvelike pomoći u prevenciji ovog stanja.

Kako ga liječiti

Ako dobijete ili posumnjate na pankreatitis, potražite liječničku pomoć.

- Glavno uporište terapije je intravenozna hidracija, odmor crijeva i kontrola boli - objašnjava kaže dr. Firoozi naglašavajući pritom da individualni tretmani i potrebe mogu varirati od pacijenta do pacijenta.

Ako je uzrokovan žučnim kamencima, mora se učiniti operacija uklanjanja žučnog mjehura. Ako je pankreatitis težak i postoji trajno oštećenje žlijezde, potrebni su antibiotici, a ponekad i operacija. Rana intervencija, u kombinaciji s ranim prepoznavanjem teških komplikacija može spasiti živote.

Tko god se susreo s pankreatitisom, složit će se da ovo stanje je sve samo ne ugodno. O čemu je riječ? Pankreatitis se odnosi na upalu gušterače sa simptomima koji uključuju umjerenu do jaku bol u trbuhu koja se pogoršava kada kašljemo, ležimo ravno, krećemo se ili jedemo. Poznate su i probavne smetnje te gubitak apetita, piše Živim.

Više vrsta pankreatitisa

S obzirom na pojavu simptoma, dijelimo ga na više vrsta:

- akutni pankreatitis (upala),

- kronični pankreatitis (upala)

- apsces pankreasa (povezan s infekcijom).

Bez obzira na podjelu, ni jedan nije ugodan.

- S akutnim pankreatitisom, gušterača koja sasvim normalno funkcionira, iznenada se upali, uzrokujući umjerenu do jaku bol u trbuhu, međutim, obično se nakon napada osoba brzo oporavi - objašnjava Toufic Kachaamy, dr. med., gastroenterolog.

Simptomi akutnog pankreatitisa uključuju bol u gornjem dijelu trbuha koja se može širiti u leđa, ponekad praćena mučninom, povraćanjem, vrućicom, ubrzanim otkucajima srca i brzim, plitkim disanjem ili respiratornim zatajenjem.

- Kronični pankreatitis je rezultat kronične upale i ožiljaka koji mogu uzrokovati kroničnu bol i gubitak funkcije gušterače. Ovaj oblik obično nije reverzibilan - objašnjava gastroenterolog.

S kroničnim pankreatitisom, pacijenti mogu iskusiti simptome proljevaste, masne i uljne stolice, gubitak apetita, nenamjerni gubitak težine i ošamućenost. Kod većine pacijenata bol u trbuhu obično slijedi nakon jela. 

Kako spriječiti pankreatitis

Ako se ne želite izložiti opasnosti od pankreatitisa, izbacite ili smanjite unos alkohola. Liječnici se slažu kako pretjerano pijenje može uzrokovati pankreatitis, kao i još gore zdravstvene probleme za gušteraču.

- Obilna konzumacija alkohola često može dovesti do napadaja pankreatitisa. Ponavljajuće epizode mogu povećati rizik od raka gušterače - upozorava gastroenterolog dr. Babak Firoozi.

Pušenje također može povećati rizik od pankreatitisa, kao i raka pluća, KOPB-a i niza drugih problema. Pušenje je najviše povezano s kroničnim pankreatitisom, dok prekomjerno pijenje alkohola može uzrokovati i akutne i kronične oblike stanja.

- Ostali uzroci pankreatitisa mogu uključivati žučne kamence, dijabetes, infekcije, pretilost, visoke trigliceride - napominje dr. Sunaha Sohi, MD, gastroenterolog.

Postojeća stanja poput cistične fibroze, kao i obiteljska povijest bolesti gušterače, također mogu predstavljati povećan rizik od razvoja pankreatitisa.

Drugi načini prevencije

Osim prestanka pušenja i smanjenja unosa alkohola, još jedan od načina je procijeniti i liječiti žučne kamence ako ih imate.

- Osim poroka, žučni kamenci su vodeći uzrok pankreatitisa - kaže dr. Firoozi.

Zbog toga, zdrava prehrana može uvelike pomoći u prevenciji ovog stanja.

Kako ga liječiti

Ako dobijete ili posumnjate na pankreatitis, potražite liječničku pomoć.

- Glavno uporište terapije je intravenozna hidracija, odmor crijeva i kontrola boli - objašnjava kaže dr. Firoozi naglašavajući pritom da individualni tretmani i potrebe mogu varirati od pacijenta do pacijenta.

Ako je uzrokovan žučnim kamencima, mora se učiniti operacija uklanjanja žučnog mjehura. Ako je pankreatitis težak i postoji trajno oštećenje žlijezde, potrebni su antibiotici, a ponekad i operacija. Rana intervencija, u kombinaciji s ranim prepoznavanjem teških komplikacija može spasiti živote.
