Terapija liječenja kanala korijena, odnosno endodontski zahvat je zahvat kojim uklanjamo infekcije sa zuba, a provodi se u pulpi zuba koji je korijenski kanal. Termini koji se najčešće koriste za endodonciju su: liječenje zuba, liječenje korijenskih kanala, “vađenje živca”.

Možemo reći kako endodoncija predstavlja svojevrsni mikrokirurški zahvat koji zahtijeva mikronsku preciznost u skučenom i nevidljivom dijelu kao što je unutrašnjost zuba, piše stomatologija.hr.

Što je to zubna pulpa i kada ju treba liječiti?

Naši se zubi sastoje od tvrdih tkiva (caklina, dentin i cement) i mekih tkiva (zubna pulpa). Zubna pulpa je meko tkivo prožeto živčanim vlaknima. Ono služi za prehranu zuba i prijenos impulsa. Uslijed prodora bakterija i njihovih toksina u unutrašnjost zuba (najčešće zbog karijesa, zubne traume) dolazi do infekcije zubne pulpe. Drugim riječima, kada se ne provodi ispravno oralna higijena, stvaraju se pogodni uvjeti u ustima za nastanak karijesa. Kada karijes uznapreduje, bakterije se množe i tako prodiru u samu unutrašnjost zuba.

Prvi i najčešći simptomi koji se javljaju kod upale pulpe uzrokovane karijesom su velika osjetljivost na temperaturu, toplo i hladno. Znakovi zaražene pulpe uključuju oticanje, osjetljivost i bol prilikom zagriza. Ponekad je moguće da pacijenti nemaju nikakve simptome već se pri redovnom pregledu kod stomatologa uoči karijes koji je izrazito uznapredovao.

Kako se provodi endodontsko liječenje zuba?

Liječenje upale zuba podrazumijeva: čišćenje pulpe i korijenskog kanala (endodontski prostor) te punjenje tog prostora umjetnim materijalima koji sprječavaju daljnji prodor bakterija. Dakle, cilj endodoncijskih zahvata, koji su potpuno bezbolni, je liječenje te očuvanje zuba i njegovog korijena.

“Vađenju živca” prethodi rendgenski snimak zuba, odnosno ortopan, kako bi se vidjelo u kakvom je stanju zub i koliko ima kanala. Nakon pregleda i same analize rendgenske snimke, postavlja se dijagnoza i definira plan endodontske terapije. Liječenje započinje anestezijom i otvaranjem zuba kako bi se uklonilo inficirano tkivo iz unutrašnjosti zuba. Upaljeno tkivo uklanja se specijalno dizajniranim ručnim ili strojnim instrumentima i ispiranje se provodi antiseptičkim otopinama. 

Nakon toga se zub puni zamjenskom tvari koja će onemogućiti ponovnu reinfekciju. Kako bi se osiguralo da su svi kanali do kraja i ispravno ispunjeni zamjenskom tvari ponavlja se rendgenski snimak odnosno ortopan. Na poslijetku se formira sam zub izradom plombe ili krune ovisno o veličini karijesa i zahvaćenog područja zuba.

Modernom endodoncijom u većini slučajeva moguće je bezbolno endodontsko liječenje odraditi u jednoj ili najviše 2-3 posjete, ovisno o situaciji.

Što očekivati nakon endodontskog liječenja?

Normalna reakcija zuba nakon provedenog endodontskog zahvata je pojačana osjetljivost na zagriz i blaži oblik boli u tretiranom području. Bol će kroz nekoliko dana potpuno nestati, dok će se već drugi dan osjetno smanjiti. Ukoliko je baš potrebno, bol se može otkloniti analgetikom kao što je ibuprofen.

Koji je životni vijek liječenog zuba?

Liječenje korijenskog kanala se primarno i radi kako bi se spasili zubi od vađenja. Nakon endodoncije pacijenti mogu nastaviti normalno sa svakodnevnim oralnim navikama. Endodontski liječen zub traje jednako dugo kao i “živi” zub. No, važno je istaknuti kako je takav zub krhkiji te pod opterećenjem lakše puca. Budući da je velika većina endodontski liječenih zubi imala veliki karijes ili opsežan ispun, na ovakvim zubima često treba pristupiti izradi protetskih nadomjestaka kako bi se zaštitio zub te smanjila mogućnost njegova pucanja, piše stomatologija.hr.

Terapija liječenja kanala korijena, odnosno endodontski zahvat je zahvat kojim uklanjamo infekcije sa zuba, a provodi se u pulpi zuba koji je korijenski kanal. Termini koji se najčešće koriste za endodonciju su: liječenje zuba, liječenje korijenskih kanala, “vađenje živca”.

Možemo reći kako endodoncija predstavlja svojevrsni mikrokirurški zahvat koji zahtijeva mikronsku preciznost u skučenom i nevidljivom dijelu kao što je unutrašnjost zuba, piše stomatologija.hr.

Što je to zubna pulpa i kada ju treba liječiti?

Naši se zubi sastoje od tvrdih tkiva (caklina, dentin i cement) i mekih tkiva (zubna pulpa). Zubna pulpa je meko tkivo prožeto živčanim vlaknima. Ono služi za prehranu zuba i prijenos impulsa. Uslijed prodora bakterija i njihovih toksina u unutrašnjost zuba (najčešće zbog karijesa, zubne traume) dolazi do infekcije zubne pulpe. Drugim riječima, kada se ne provodi ispravno oralna higijena, stvaraju se pogodni uvjeti u ustima za nastanak karijesa. Kada karijes uznapreduje, bakterije se množe i tako prodiru u samu unutrašnjost zuba.

Prvi i najčešći simptomi koji se javljaju kod upale pulpe uzrokovane karijesom su velika osjetljivost na temperaturu, toplo i hladno. Znakovi zaražene pulpe uključuju oticanje, osjetljivost i bol prilikom zagriza. Ponekad je moguće da pacijenti nemaju nikakve simptome već se pri redovnom pregledu kod stomatologa uoči karijes koji je izrazito uznapredovao.

Kako se provodi endodontsko liječenje zuba?

Liječenje upale zuba podrazumijeva: čišćenje pulpe i korijenskog kanala (endodontski prostor) te punjenje tog prostora umjetnim materijalima koji sprječavaju daljnji prodor bakterija. Dakle, cilj endodoncijskih zahvata, koji su potpuno bezbolni, je liječenje te očuvanje zuba i njegovog korijena.

“Vađenju živca” prethodi rendgenski snimak zuba, odnosno ortopan, kako bi se vidjelo u kakvom je stanju zub i koliko ima kanala. Nakon pregleda i same analize rendgenske snimke, postavlja se dijagnoza i definira plan endodontske terapije. Liječenje započinje anestezijom i otvaranjem zuba kako bi se uklonilo inficirano tkivo iz unutrašnjosti zuba. Upaljeno tkivo uklanja se specijalno dizajniranim ručnim ili strojnim instrumentima i ispiranje se provodi antiseptičkim otopinama. 

Nakon toga se zub puni zamjenskom tvari koja će onemogućiti ponovnu reinfekciju. Kako bi se osiguralo da su svi kanali do kraja i ispravno ispunjeni zamjenskom tvari ponavlja se rendgenski snimak odnosno ortopan. Na poslijetku se formira sam zub izradom plombe ili krune ovisno o veličini karijesa i zahvaćenog područja zuba.

Modernom endodoncijom u većini slučajeva moguće je bezbolno endodontsko liječenje odraditi u jednoj ili najviše 2-3 posjete, ovisno o situaciji.

Što očekivati nakon endodontskog liječenja?

Normalna reakcija zuba nakon provedenog endodontskog zahvata je pojačana osjetljivost na zagriz i blaži oblik boli u tretiranom području. Bol će kroz nekoliko dana potpuno nestati, dok će se već drugi dan osjetno smanjiti. Ukoliko je baš potrebno, bol se može otkloniti analgetikom kao što je ibuprofen.

Koji je životni vijek liječenog zuba?

Liječenje korijenskog kanala se primarno i radi kako bi se spasili zubi od vađenja. Nakon endodoncije pacijenti mogu nastaviti normalno sa svakodnevnim oralnim navikama. Endodontski liječen zub traje jednako dugo kao i “živi” zub. No, važno je istaknuti kako je takav zub krhkiji te pod opterećenjem lakše puca. Budući da je velika većina endodontski liječenih zubi imala veliki karijes ili opsežan ispun, na ovakvim zubima često treba pristupiti izradi protetskih nadomjestaka kako bi se zaštitio zub te smanjila mogućnost njegova pucanja, piše stomatologija.hr.

Terapija liječenja kanala korijena, odnosno endodontski zahvat je zahvat kojim uklanjamo infekcije sa zuba, a provodi se u pulpi zuba koji je korijenski kanal. Termini koji se najčešće koriste za endodonciju su: liječenje zuba, liječenje korijenskih kanala, “vađenje živca”.

Možemo reći kako endodoncija predstavlja svojevrsni mikrokirurški zahvat koji zahtijeva mikronsku preciznost u skučenom i nevidljivom dijelu kao što je unutrašnjost zuba, piše stomatologija.hr.

Što je to zubna pulpa i kada ju treba liječiti?

Naši se zubi sastoje od tvrdih tkiva (caklina, dentin i cement) i mekih tkiva (zubna pulpa). Zubna pulpa je meko tkivo prožeto živčanim vlaknima. Ono služi za prehranu zuba i prijenos impulsa. Uslijed prodora bakterija i njihovih toksina u unutrašnjost...
