Znanstvena zajednica uzročno je povezala uporabu alkohola s najmanje sedam karcinoma: oralnim, ždrijelom, grkljanom, jednjakom, kolorektalnim, jetrom i ženskim dojkama.

Acetat se zatim može preraditi u vodu i ugljični dioksid i napustiti tijelo. Acetaldehid je dokazano kancerogen i oštećuje DNK što je dulje u krvotoku.

Odabir da ne pijete jedan je od načina na koji se možete zaštititi od povećanog rizika od nekoliko vrsta raka.

No, ako povremeno pijete, preporučuje se da ograničite konzumaciju na jednu ‘dozu’ dnevno za žene i dvije za muškarce.

Ipak, unatoč ovom popularnom pravilu, Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) konačno je u siječnju 2023. objavila da ne postoji sigurna razina alkohola, piše N1.

“Nije važno koliko pijete, rizik za zdravlje počinje od prve kapi bilo kojeg alkoholnog pića. Jedino što sa sigurnošću možemo reći je da što više pijete, to je štetnije – ili, drugim riječima, što manje pijete, to je sigurnije”, izjavila je dr. Znanstvena zajednica uzročno je povezala uporabu alkohola s najmanje sedam karcinoma: oralnim, ždrijelom, grkljanom, jednjakom, kolorektalnim, jetrom i ženskim dojkama.

U konačnom tekstu koji je Europski parlament odobrio na plenarnoj sjednici 13. prosinca prošle godine zastupnici također "podupiru pružanje boljih informacija potrošačima poboljšanjem označivanja alkoholnih pića, posebno uključivanjem umjerenih i odgovornih informacija o piću".

Stručnjaci sada izvješćuju da se 20.000 smrtnih slučajeva u SAD-u dogodi svake godine zbog raka povezanog s prevelikom konzumacijom alkohola.

Glavni problem je što je svaka količina alkohola toksična. Kada uđe u krvotok, mora se razgraditi u nešto što se zove acetaldehid, koji se zatim dalje razgrađuje u acetat, piše N1.

Acetat se zatim može preraditi u vodu i ugljični dioksid i napustiti tijelo. Acetaldehid je dokazano kancerogen i oštećuje DNK što je dulje u krvotoku.

Odabir da ne pijete jedan je od načina na koji se možete zaštititi od povećanog rizika od nekoliko vrsta raka.

No, ako povremeno pijete, preporučuje se da ograničite konzumaciju na jednu ‘dozu’ dnevno za žene i dvije za muškarce.

Ipak, unatoč ovom popularnom pravilu, Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) konačno je u siječnju 2023. objavila da ne postoji sigurna razina alkohola, piše N1.

“Nije važno koliko pijete, rizik za zdravlje počinje od prve kapi bilo kojeg alkoholnog pića. Jedino što sa sigurnošću možemo reći je da što više pijete, to je štetnije – ili, drugim riječima, što manje pijete, to je sigurnije”, izjavila je dr. Carina Ferreira-Borges iz Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije.

Znanstvena zajednica uzročno je povezala uporabu alkohola s najmanje sedam karcinoma: oralnim, ždrijelom, grkljanom, jednjakom, kolorektalnim, jetrom i ženskim dojkama.

U konačnom tekstu koji je Europski parlament odobrio na plenarnoj sjednici 13. prosinca prošle godine zastupnici također "podupiru pružanje boljih informacija potrošačima poboljšanjem označivanja alkoholnih pića, posebno uključivanjem umjerenih i odgovornih informacija o piću".

Stručnjaci sada izvješćuju da se 20.000 smrtnih slučajeva u SAD-u dogodi svake godine zbog raka povezanog s prevelikom konzumacijom alkohola.

Glavni problem je što je svaka količina alkohola toksična. Kada uđe u krvotok, mora se razgraditi u nešto što se zove acetaldehid, koji se zatim dalje razgrađuje u acetat, piše N1.

Acetat se zatim može preraditi u vodu i ugljični dioksid i napustiti tijelo. Acetaldehid je dokazano kancerogen i oštećuje DNK što je dulje u krvotoku.

Odabir da ne pijete jedan je od načina na koji se možete zaštititi od povećanog rizika od nekoliko vrsta raka.

No, ako povremeno pijete, preporučuje se da ograničite konzumaciju na jednu ‘dozu’ dnevno za žene i dvije za muškarce.

Ipak, unatoč ovom popularnom pravilu, Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) konačno je u siječnju 2023. objavila da ne postoji sigurna razina alkohola, piše N1.

“Nije važno koliko pijete, rizik za zdravlje počinje od prve kapi bilo kojeg alkoholnog pića. Jedino što sa sigurnošću možemo reći je da što više pijete, to je štetnije – ili, drugim riječima, što manje pijete, to je sigurnije”, izjavila je dr. Carina Ferreira-Borges iz Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije.
