Dosta se preklapaju.
Kako temperature padaju, očekuje se da će ljudi više vremena provoditi u zatvorenim prostorima, što bi moglo pridonijeti brzom širenju problematične nove varijante covida. Istovremeno, gripa je aktualna, a ni obična prehlada više se ne čini tako bezazlenom, tim više što se simptomi opet dosta preklapaju, piše nova.rs.
‘Mnoge od ovih različitih bolesti javljaju se na potpuno isti način‘, rekao je dr. Chris Smith, virolog sa Sveučilišta u Cambridgeu, za BBC Look East.
"Oni obično uzrokuju curenje iz nosa, grlobolju, temperaturu ponekad - osobito kod gripe - i kašalj. Stoga može biti vrlo teško točno znati što je... Druga loša vijest je da možete uhvatiti više od jednog u isto vrijeme. Ponekad vidimo ljude kojima su dijagnosticirane dvije, ponekad tri virusne infekcije u isto vrijeme", dodao je.
Covid
Na početku pandemije gubitak okusa ili mirisa, kontinuirani kašalj i povišena tjelesna temperatura bili su glavni simptomi virusa, a u međuvremenu se taj popis proširio i dosta promijenio. Najnoviji podaci britanskog Ureda za nacionalnu statistiku (ONS) pokazuju da su glavobolja, curenje nosa i kašalj najčešći simptomi covida. Bolovi u mišićima, grlobolja i umor su sljedeća tri, zajedno s kratkim dahom i naglim gubitkom okusa i mirisa.
"Osim ovih primarnih simptoma, teški slučajevi covida mogu dovesti do komplikacija kao što su bol u prsima, smetenost i plavičasta promjena boje usana ili lica, što ukazuje na potrebu za hitnom medicinskom pomoći", rekao je profesor Philip Wilson, stručnjak za biomedicinsku tehnologiju na Sveučilištu Nottingham Trent za Daily Mail.
Gripa
Virusi gripe obično uzrokuju kašalj, što je najčešći križni simptom sezonskog virusa. No simptomi gripe obično su mnogo intenzivniji od prehlade, mogu uzrokovati želučane probleme, a komplikacije, poput upale pluća, mogu biti kobne u najugroženijim skupinama.
“Simptomi gripe uključuju zimicu, groznicu, glavobolju i bolove u mišićima. Gripa je ozbiljnija jer simptomi pogađaju cijelo tijelo i nisu ograničeni na prehladu. Također, gastrointestinalni simptomi poput povraćanja i proljeva češći su u slučajevima gripe", kaže profesor Ron Eccles, koji je vodio Common Cold Center na Sveučilištu Cardiff.
Prehlada
Rinovirusi su najčešći uzročnici prehlade, ali manje infekcije nosa i grla mogu biti uzrokovane bilo kojim od više od 200 različitih virusa. Ako su simptomi uglavnom ograničeni na gornje dišne putove, vjerojatno je riječ o prehladi.
"Simptomi prehlade su curenje nosa, kihanje, grlobolja i začepljen nos", rekao je profesor Eccles.
„Prehlade se obično razvijaju postupno i mogu uzrokovati kašalj, začepljenost i umor. Prišuljaju vam se sa simptomima poput curenja iz nosa ili upale grla", dodala je dr. Anne Nynan, liječnica opće prakse sa sjedištem u Londonu.
Prehlada ima tendenciju biti ‘smetnja‘, za razliku od gripe koja ‘vas može oboriti s nogu i zadržati u krevetu‘, istaknula je. Međutim, preklapanje simptoma može otežati kliničku dijagnozu.

Dosta se preklapaju.
Kako temperature padaju, očekuje se da će ljudi više vremena provoditi u zatvorenim prostorima, što bi moglo pridonijeti brzom širenju problematične nove varijante covida. Istovremeno, gripa je aktualna, a ni obična prehlada više se ne čini tako bezazlenom, tim više što se simptomi opet dosta preklapaju, piše nova.rs.
‘Mnoge od ovih različitih bolesti javljaju se na potpuno isti način‘, rekao je dr. Chris Smith, virolog sa Sveučilišta u Cambridgeu, za BBC Look East.
"Oni obično uzrokuju curenje iz nosa, grlobolju, temperaturu ponekad - osobito kod gripe - i kašalj. Stoga može biti vrlo teško točno znati što je... Druga loša vijest je da možete uhvatiti više od jednog u isto vrijeme. Ponekad vidimo ljude kojima su dijagnosticirane dvije, ponekad tri virusne infekcije u isto vrijeme", dodao je.
Covid
Na početku pandemije gubitak okusa ili mirisa, kontinuirani kašalj i povišena tjelesna temperatura bili su glavni simptomi virusa, a u međuvremenu se taj popis proširio i dosta promijenio. Najnoviji podaci britanskog Ureda za nacionalnu statistiku (ONS) pokazuju da su glavobolja, curenje nosa i kašalj najčešći simptomi covida. Bolovi u mišićima, grlobolja i umor su sljedeća tri, zajedno s kratkim dahom i naglim gubitkom okusa i mirisa.
"Osim ovih primarnih simptoma, teški slučajevi covida mogu dovesti do komplikacija kao što su bol u prsima, smetenost i plavičasta promjena boje usana ili lica, što ukazuje na potrebu za hitnom medicinskom pomoći", rekao je profesor Philip Wilson, stručnjak za biomedicinsku tehnologiju na Sveučilištu Nottingham Trent za Daily Mail.
Gripa
Virusi gripe obično uzrokuju kašalj, što je najčešći križni simptom sezonskog virusa. No simptomi gripe obično su mnogo intenzivniji od prehlade, mogu uzrokovati želučane probleme, a komplikacije, poput upale pluća, mogu biti kobne u najugroženijim skupinama.
“Simptomi gripe uključuju zimicu, groznicu, glavobolju i bolove u mišićima. Gripa je ozbiljnija jer simptomi pogađaju cijelo tijelo i nisu ograničeni na prehladu. Također, gastrointestinalni simptomi poput povraćanja i proljeva češći su u slučajevima gripe", kaže profesor Ron Eccles, koji je vodio Common Cold Center na Sveučilištu Cardiff.
Prehlada
Rinovirusi su najčešći uzročnici prehlade, ali manje infekcije nosa i grla mogu biti uzrokovane bilo kojim od više od 200 različitih virusa. Ako su simptomi uglavnom ograničeni na gornje dišne putove, vjerojatno je riječ o prehladi.
"Simptomi prehlade su curenje nosa, kihanje, grlobolja i začepljen nos", rekao je profesor Eccles.
„Prehlade se obično razvijaju postupno i mogu uzrokovati kašalj, začepljenost i umor. Prišuljaju vam se sa simptomima poput curenja iz nosa ili upale grla", dodala je dr. Anne Nynan, liječnica opće prakse sa sjedištem u Londonu.
Prehlada ima tendenciju biti ‘smetnja‘, za razliku od gripe koja ‘vas može oboriti s nogu i zadržati u krevetu‘, istaknula je. Međutim, preklapanje simptoma može otežati kliničku dijagnozu.
