Oboljelih od epilepsije u društvu je oko jedan posto, odnosno u Hrvatskoj oko 40.000 tisuća. O toj najčešćoj neurološkoj bolesti održan je i webinar “Živjeti s epilepsijom”, na kojemu je rečeno da se više od 50 posto oboljelih u Hrvatskoj osjeća stigmatizirano.  Međunarodni i Nacionalni dan oboljelih od epilepsije bio je prilika da se istakne kako se stigmatizacija oboljelih od epilepsije manifestira na mnogo načina, od onih svakodnevnih razmišljanja da takve osobe ne bi smjele sklapati brakove i imati djecu, do onih da oboljela djeca ne bi smjela ići u vrtiće, javlja Portal Zdravlje.

- Kasnije, u školi i pri zapošljavanju predrasude su izrazitije i idu sve do toga da osobe s epilepsijom ne mogu pronaći posao, istaknula je prim. Ana Sruk, specijalist neurologije i predsjednica Hrvatske udruge za epilepsiju koja je upozorila i na to da epileptični napadaji na poslu često rezultiraju otkazom za oboljelu osobu koja onda rijetko istupa u javnost zbog čega se može učiniti kako ta stigmatizacija zapravo i ne postoji. 

- Liječnika i stručne skrbi vezane uz epilepsiju u Hrvatskoj ima dovoljno. Uglavnom je centralizirana u Zagrebu, ali je dostupna za sve koji se obrate za stručnu pomoć. Naša udruga ima i savjetovalište i pozivamo sve da nam se jave. Često dajemo savjete i koji nisu medicinski, poručila je prim. dr. Sruk.

Kako bi se pojačala vidljivost osoba oboljelih od epilepsije i time razbile predrasude, mnoge kulturne znamenitosti bile su osvijetljenje ljubičastom bojom u ponedjeljak navečer.

Oboljelih od epilepsije u društvu je oko jedan posto, odnosno u Hrvatskoj oko 40.000 tisuća. O toj najčešćoj neurološkoj bolesti održan je i webinar “Živjeti s epilepsijom”, na kojemu je rečeno da se više od 50 posto oboljelih u Hrvatskoj osjeća stigmatizirano.  Međunarodni i Nacionalni dan oboljelih od epilepsije bio je prilika da se istakne kako se stigmatizacija oboljelih od epilepsije manifestira na mnogo načina, od onih svakodnevnih razmišljanja da takve osobe ne bi smjele sklapati brakove i imati djecu, do onih da oboljela djeca ne bi smjela ići u vrtiće, javlja Portal Zdravlje.

- Kasnije, u školi i pri zapošljavanju predrasude su izrazitije i idu sve do toga da osobe s epilepsijom ne mogu pronaći posao, istaknula je prim. Ana Sruk, specijalist neurologije i predsjednica Hrvatske udruge za epilepsiju koja je upozorila i na to da epileptični napadaji na poslu često rezultiraju otkazom za oboljelu osobu koja onda rijetko istupa u javnost zbog čega se može učiniti kako ta stigmatizacija zapravo i ne postoji. 

- Liječnika i stručne skrbi vezane uz epilepsiju u Hrvatskoj ima dovoljno. Uglavnom je centralizirana u Zagrebu, ali je dostupna za sve koji se obrate za stručnu pomoć. Naša udruga ima i savjetovalište i pozivamo sve da nam se jave. Često dajemo savjete i koji nisu medicinski, poručila je prim. dr. Sruk.

Kako bi se pojačala vidljivost osoba oboljelih od epilepsije i time razbile predrasude, mnoge kulturne znamenitosti bile su osvijetljenje ljubičastom bojom u ponedjeljak navečer.

Oboljelih od epilepsije u društvu je oko jedan posto, odnosno u Hrvatskoj oko 40.000 tisuća. O toj najčešćoj neurološkoj bolesti održan je i webinar “Živjeti s epilepsijom”, na kojemu je rečeno da se više od 50 posto oboljelih u Hrvatskoj osjeća stigmatizirano.  Međunarodni i Nacionalni dan oboljelih od epilepsije bio je prilika da se istakne kako se stigmatizacija oboljelih od epilepsije manifestira na mnogo načina, od onih svakodnevnih razmišljanja da takve osobe ne bi smjele sklapati brakove i imati djecu, do onih da oboljela djeca ne bi smjela ići u vrtiće, javlja Portal Zdravlje.

- Kasnije, u školi i pri zapošljavanju predrasude su izrazitije i idu sve do toga da osobe s epilepsijom ne mogu pronaći posao, istaknula je prim. Ana Sruk, specijalist neurologije ...
