Nealkoholna masna bolest jetre izraz je za niz stanja uzrokovanih nakupljanjem masti u jetri. Obično se viđa kod ljudi koji imaju prekomjernu težinu ili pretilost, piše Živim. U ranom stadiju obično ne uzrokuje nikakvu štetu, ali može dovesti do ozbiljnog oštećenja jetre, uključujući cirozu, ako se pogorša.

Visoka razina masti u jetri također je povezana s povećanim rizikom od ozbiljnih zdravstvenih problema, poput dijabetesa, visokog krvnog tlaka i bolesti bubrega.

Nažalost, broj oboljelih od nealkoholne masne bolesti jetre brzo raste, pogađajući svake godine sve veći broj mlađih odraslih osoba, piše Express. Ponekad ovo stanje uzrokuje nutritivni manjak koji dovodi do novih simptoma. Primjerice, osip oko usta može signalizirati da disfunkcija jetre ugrožava koncentraciju cinka u krvi.

Poznato je da kronične bolesti jetre kao što je nealkoholna masna bolest jetre ometaju apsorpciju određenih hranjivih tvari, poput cinka. Baš zato mnogi ljudi koji imaju abnormalno visoke razine masti u jetri imaju i manjak cinka.

To je potvrđeno u studiji objavljenoj u časopisu Metabolism Open 2021., koja je predložila brojne potencijalne uzroke za prevalenciju nedostatka cinka u bolesnika s masnom jetrom.

- Pokazalo se da su pacijenti s nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre imali značajno smanjene koncentracije cinka u serumu u usporedbi s kontrolnom skupinom - stoji u studiji.

Važan mineral

Uz to, otkrivano je da su smanjene koncentracije ovog važnog minerala povezane s višim stupnjevima fibroze jetre u bolesnika s dijagnosticiranom nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre. Autori su izjavili da inzulinska rezistencija, dijabetes, pretilost, hipertenzija, smanjena apsorpcija iz gastrointestinalnog trakta i neadekvatan unos hrane mogu biti potencijalni uzroci smanjene koncentracije.

Nadalje, autori studije navode da je cink mineral koji doprinosi normalnoj funkciji imunološkog sustava, a poznato je da modulira antivirusni, antibakterijski imunitet i redoviti upalni odgovor.

Jedno izvješće iz 2022. također ističe da je nedostatak cinka usko povezan s dermatitisom, a poznato je da dermatitis obično uzrokuje iritaciju kože oko usta. Iritacija izgleda poput osipa koji se sastoji od malih kvržica ispunjenih tekućinom koje mogu biti čvrste na dodir.

Ugrožena jetra također može potaknuti druge simptome na licu, kao što su natečenost, svrbež i rosacea. Unatoč tome, važno je napomenuti da velik broj pacijenata s nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre ne osjeća nikakve simptome.

Srećom, istraživanja pod vodstvom Sveučilišta Sjeverne Karoline u Greensborou pokazala su da dodaci cinka mogu smanjiti nakupljanje lipida u jetri, ali i poboljšati oštećenje jetre. Međutim, osobama koje razmišljaju o uzimanju dodataka prehrani savjetuje se da prvo potraže savjet stručnjaka.

Prehrambene preporuke za liječenje masne jetre

Najbolji način liječenja masne jetre je uvođenje pravilnih prehrambenih navika i redovita tjelesna aktivnost. To podrazumijeva izbjegavanje dodatno zaslađene, masne, slane i pržene hrane kao i gazirana pića.

Ponekad ovo stanje uzrokuje nutritivni manjak koji dovodi do novih simptoma. Primjerice, osip oko usta može signalizirati da disfunkcija jetre ugrožava koncentraciju cinka u krvi.

Poznato je da kronične bolesti jetre kao što je nealkoholna masna bolest jetre ometaju apsorpciju određenih hranjivih tvari, poput cinka. Baš zato mnogi ljudi koji imaju abnormalno visoke razine masti u jetri imaju i manjak cinka.

To je potvrđeno u studiji objavljenoj u časopisu Metabolism Open 2021., koja je predložila brojne potencijalne uzroke za prevalenciju nedostatka cinka u bolesnika s masnom jetrom.

- Pokazalo se da su pacijenti s nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre imali značajno smanjene koncentracije cinka u serumu u usporedbi s kontrolnom skupinom - stoji u studiji.

Važan mineral

Uz to, otkrivano je da su smanjene koncentracije ovog važnog minerala povezane s višim stupnjevima fibroze jetre u bolesnika s dijagnosticiranom nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre. Autori su izjavili da inzulinska rezistencija, dijabetes, pretilost, hipertenzija, smanjena apsorpcija iz gastrointestinalnog trakta i neadekvatan unos hrane mogu biti potencijalni uzroci smanjene koncentracije.

Nadalje, autori studije navode da je cink mineral koji doprinosi normalnoj funkciji imunološkog sustava, a poznato je da modulira antivirusni, antibakterijski imunitet i redoviti upalni odgovor.

Jedno izvješće iz 2022. također ističe da je nedostatak cinka usko povezan s dermatitisom, a poznato je da dermatitis obično uzrokuje iritaciju kože oko usta. Iritacija izgleda poput osipa koji se sastoji od malih kvržica ispunjenih tekućinom koje mogu biti čvrste na dodir.

Ako imate osip oko usta, možda imate periodični dermatitis, piše Američka akademija za dermatologiju.

Ugrožena jetra također može potaknuti druge simptome na licu, kao što su natečenost, svrbež i rosacea. Unatoč tome, važno je napomenuti da velik broj pacijenata s nealkoholnom masnom bolesti jetre ne osjeća nikakve simptome.

Srećom, istraživanja pod vodstvom Sveučilišta Sjeverne Karoline u Greensborou pokazala su da dodaci cinka mogu smanjiti nakupljanje lipida u jetri, ali i poboljšati oštećenje jetre. Međutim, osobama koje razmišljaju o uzimanju dodataka prehrani savjetuje se da prvo potraže savjet stručnjaka.

Prehrambene preporuke za liječenje masne jetre

Najbolji način liječenja masne jetre je uvođenje pravilnih prehrambenih navika i redovita tjelesna aktivnost. To podrazumijeva izbjegavanje dodatno zaslađene, masne, slane i pržene hrane kao i gazirana pića.

Smanjenje tjelesne mase uz povećanje tjelesne aktivnosti: 3x tjedno po 45 minuta za početak

Izbjegavanje trans masnoća i ravnomjeran unos zasićenih masnoća

U prehranu uključiti maslinovo, sezamovo i bučino ulje

U prehranu uključiti plavu ribu, lanene i chia sjemenke koje su dobar izvor omega-3 masnih kiselina

Povećajte unos prehrambenih vlakana (integralne žitarice, povrće, sjemenke)

Izbjegavati i ograničiti unos dodanih šećera; stolni šećer ili saharoza te izbjegavati slađenje fruktozom

Nealkoholna masna bolest jetre izraz je za niz stanja uzrokovanih nakupljanjem masti u jetri. Obično se viđa kod ljudi koji imaju prekomjernu težinu ili pretilost, piše Živim.
