Povećanje opsega trbuha, nadutost, brza zasićenost hranom, bolovi u zdjelici i trbuhu, smetnje kod mokrenja - simptomi su raka jajnika, često neprepoznati, zbog čega se bolest otkriva u kasnoj fazi, upozoravaju stručnjaci u povodu današnjeg Svjetskog dana borbe protiv raka jajnika.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da devet od 10 žena prije dijagnoze ima više simptoma koji mogu ukazivati na rak jajnika, ali nisu prepoznati. Više od 60 posto žena bez obzira na simptome ne pomisli na rak jajnika, a 70 posto slučajeva se otkrije tek u uznapredovaloj fazi, upozoravaju iz udruge SVE za NJU, koja je svake godine obilježava Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika javnozdravstvenom akcijom "To nisu samo ženske stvari".

Po podacima iz Registra za rak, od raka jajnika u Hrvatskoj su 2018. oboljele 462 žene, a umrlo je 308 žena. Za rak jajnika nema organiziranog probira i time je važnije osvijestiti žene o važnosti redovnih ginekoloških pregleda i prepoznavanja simptoma.

Zajednička je poruka stručnjaka da žene trebaju poznavati simptome koji mogu ukazivati na rak jajnika a na njih traju obratiti pažnju i ginekolozi i liječnici obiteljske medicine.

Žene trebaju provoditi redovite ginekološke preglede, a oboljele treba uputiti na liječenje u ustanove u kojima postoji multidisciplinarni tim koji će planirati i provoditi liječenje. Iako se radi o raku u kome je petogodišnje preživljenje vrlo skromno, ulijeva optimizam činjenica da Hrvatska prati najsuvremenije oblike liječenja, poručuju stručnjaci

Valja znati da Papa test nije metoda detekcije raka jajnika i jajovoda te da valja obratiti pozornost na simptome kako bi se dijagnoza postavila u ranom stadiju, kada je znatno poboljšana mogućnost preživljenja.

Žene sa simptomima koji mogu ukazivati na malignu bolest jajnika i jajovoda trebaju hitno obaviti ginekološki pregled, transvaginalni ultrazvuk i odrediti tumorski biljeg CA 125, a zatim provesti kirurško liječenje i onkološko liječenje u velikim bolničkim centrima s dostupnim multidisciplinarnim timom.

Odmah nakon operacije ili biopsije važno je provesti testiranje na mutacije BRCA1 i BRCA2 gena, jer to ženama s dijagnozom i potvrđenom mutacijom omogućava ciljano liječenje.

Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika obilježava se 8. svibnja od 2013. godine kao svjetska inicijativa sa ciljem podizanja svijesti žena o važnosti redovnih pregleda.

Povećanje opsega trbuha, nadutost, brza zasićenost hranom, bolovi u zdjelici i trbuhu, smetnje kod mokrenja - simptomi su raka jajnika, često neprepoznati, zbog čega se bolest otkriva u kasnoj fazi, upozoravaju stručnjaci u povodu današnjeg Svjetskog dana borbe protiv raka jajnika.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da devet od 10 žena prije dijagnoze ima više simptoma koji mogu ukazivati na rak jajnika, ali nisu prepoznati. Više od 60 posto žena bez obzira na simptome ne pomisli na rak jajnika, a 70 posto slučajeva se otkrije tek u uznapredovaloj fazi, upozoravaju iz udruge SVE za NJU, koja je svake godine obilježava Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika javnozdravstvenom akcijom "To nisu samo ženske stvari".

Po podacima iz Registra za rak, od raka jajnika u Hrvatskoj su 2018. oboljele 462 žene, a umrlo je 308 žena. Za rak jajnika nema organiziranog probira i time je važnije osvijestiti žene o važnosti redovnih ginekoloških pregleda i prepoznavanja simptoma.

Zajednička je poruka stručnjaka da žene trebaju poznavati simptome koji mogu ukazivati na rak jajnika a na njih traju obratiti pažnju i ginekolozi i liječnici obiteljske medicine.

Žene trebaju provoditi redovite ginekološke preglede, a oboljele treba uputiti na liječenje u ustanove u kojima postoji multidisciplinarni tim koji će planirati i provoditi liječenje. Iako se radi o raku u kome je petogodišnje preživljenje vrlo skromno, ulijeva optimizam činjenica da Hrvatska prati najsuvremenije oblike liječenja, poručuju stručnjaci

Valja znati da Papa test nije metoda detekcije raka jajnika i jajovoda te da valja obratiti pozornost na simptome kako bi se dijagnoza postavila u ranom stadiju, kada je znatno poboljšana mogućnost preživljenja.

Žene sa simptomima koji mogu ukazivati na malignu bolest jajnika i jajovoda trebaju hitno obaviti ginekološki pregled, transvaginalni ultrazvuk i odrediti tumorski biljeg CA 125, a zatim provesti kirurško liječenje i onkološko liječenje u velikim bolničkim centrima s dostupnim multidisciplinarnim timom.

Odmah nakon operacije ili biopsije važno je provesti testiranje na mutacije BRCA1 i BRCA2 gena, jer to ženama s dijagnozom i potvrđenom mutacijom omogućava ciljano liječenje.

Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika obilježava se 8. svibnja od 2013. godine kao svjetska inicijativa sa ciljem podizanja svijesti žena o važnosti redovnih pregleda.

Povećanje opsega trbuha, nadutost, brza zasićenost hranom, bolovi u zdjelici i trbuhu, smetnje kod mokrenja - simptomi su raka jajnika, često neprepoznati, zbog čega se bolest otkriva u kasnoj fazi, upozoravaju stručnjaci u povodu današnjeg Svjetskog dana borbe protiv raka jajnika.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da devet od 10 žena prije dijagnoze ima više simptoma koji mogu ukazivati na rak jajnika, ali nisu prepoznati. Više od 60 posto žena bez obzira na simptome ne pomisli na rak jajnika, a 70 posto slučajeva se otkrije tek u uznapredovaloj fazi, upozoravaju iz udruge SVE za NJU, koja je svake godine obilježava Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika javnozdravstvenom akcijom "To nisu samo ženske stvari".
