Intimnost s partnerom važan je faktor sreće u vezi, ali ako vaš seksualni život nije kakav je nekad bio, to bi mogao biti problem o kojem niste razmišljali. Nažalost, neki zdravstveni problemi mogu dovesti do lošijeg seksualnog života.
Novo istraživanje obavljeno u Velikoj Britaniji pokazalo je da bolesti štitnjače mogu imati razoran utjecaj na seksualno i mentalno zdravlje. Pri čemu je gotovo tri četvrtine (71 posto) ispitanih reklo da je to zdravstveno stanje (bolest štitnjače) negativno utjecalo na njihovu seksualnu funkciju, piše živim.hr.
Iskusili su, kažu, nizak libido, pri čemu je 44 posto muških ispitanika istaknulo erektilnu disfunkciju kao problem. Druge poteškoće uključivale su smanjeno seksualno zadovoljstvo (26 posto) i poteškoće u postizanju orgazma (21 posto).
Nevjerojatnih 88 posto ljudi reklo je da su iskusili probleme sa svojim mentalnim zdravljem kao posljedica poteškoća seksualne funkcije, uključujući loše raspoloženje (76 posto), nemogućnost koncentracije (71 posto), nedostatak motivacije (70 posto), osjećaj neshvaćenosti (55 posto) i nesanica (52 posto).
Kako liječiti seksualne i mentalne probleme?
Najbolje rješenje je ciljano liječenje same bolesti koje može ublažiti mnoge simptome pa tako seksualne i mentalne probleme. Međutim, ako dođe do kašnjenja u dijagnozi, ljudi se mogu dugo boriti s iscrpljujućim problemima. Čak 32 posto ispitanih je reklo da je čekalo više od godinu dana između pojave simptoma i dijagnoze.
- Poznato je da je poremećaje štitnjače teško prepoznati jer se mnogi simptomi, poput ekstremnog umora, povećanja tjelesne težine, bolova u mišićima, depresije i usporenog kretanja i misli, također mogu povezati s mnogim drugim stanjima - rekla je dr. med. Natasha Fernando za Mirror.
Liječnica ističe da je put do postavljanja dijagnoze težak jer neki ljudi mogu biti vrlo suzdržani kada govore o nekim svojim simptomima, osobito ako oni uključuju njihov seksualni život i mentalno zdravlje. Mnogi oboljeli mogu povezati nizak libido s osjećam umora ili stresa na poslu, ignorirajući druge potencijalne razloge.
- Ali ako je nečiji libido značajno opao ili ima erektilnu disfunkciju, ne bi trebao patiti u tišini - kaže dr. Fernando.
Dodaje kako je važno da svaka osoba spomene te probleme liječniku obiteljske medicine.
- Uzimanje sveobuhvatne analize krvi također može biti koristan i diskretan prvi korak u otkrivanju jesu li vaši simptomi povezani sa štitnjačom ili je nešto drugo u redu - objasnila je.
Koji se uobičajeni simptomi mogu pojaviti kod bolesti štitnjače?
Uglavnom se simptomi bolesti štitnjače mogu podijeliti u dvije skupine - oni koji se odnose na ubrzani rad štitnjače (hipertireoza) i oni koji se odnose na usporen rad (hipotireoza).
Simptomi ubrzanog rada štitnjače (hipertireoza):
Tjeskoba, razdražljivost i nervoza
Problemi sa spavanjem
Mršavljenje
Povećana štitna žlijezda ili gušu
Slabost mišića i drhtanje
Neredovite menstruacije ili prestanak menstrualnog ciklusa
Osjetljivost na toplinu
Problemi s vidom ili iritacija oka.
Simptomi usporenog rada štitnjače (hipotireoza):
Umor
Debljanje
Zaboravljanje
Česte i obilne menstruacije
Suha i gruba kosa
Hrapav glas
Intolerancija niske temperature.

Intimnost s partnerom važan je faktor sreće u vezi, ali ako vaš seksualni život nije kakav je nekad bio, to bi mogao biti problem o kojem niste razmišljali. Nažalost, neki zdravstveni problemi mogu dovesti do lošijeg seksualnog života.
Novo istraživanje obavljeno u Velikoj Britaniji pokazalo je da bolesti štitnjače mogu imati razoran utjecaj na seksualno i mentalno zdravlje. Pri čemu je gotovo tri četvrtine (71 posto) ispitanih reklo da je to zdravstveno stanje (bolest štitnjače) negativno utjecalo na njihovu seksualnu funkciju, piše živim.hr.
Iskusili su, kažu, nizak libido, pri čemu je 44 posto muških ispitanika istaknulo erektilnu disfunkciju kao problem. Druge poteškoće uključivale su smanjeno seksualno zadovoljstvo (26 posto) i poteškoće u postizanju orgazma (21 posto).
Nevjerojatnih 88 posto ljudi reklo je da su iskusili probleme sa svojim mentalnim zdravljem kao posljedica poteškoća seksualne funkcije, uključujući loše raspoloženje (76 posto), nemogućnost koncentracije (71 posto), nedostatak motivacije (70 posto), osjećaj neshvaćenosti (55 posto) i nesanica (52 posto).
Kako liječiti seksualne i mentalne probleme?
Najbolje rješenje je ciljano liječenje same bolesti koje može ublažiti mnoge simptome pa tako seksualne i mentalne probleme. Međutim, ako dođe do kašnjenja u dijagnozi, ljudi se mogu dugo boriti s iscrpljujućim problemima. Čak 32 posto ispitanih je reklo da je čekalo više od godinu dana između pojave simptoma i dijagnoze.
- Poznato je da je poremećaje štitnjače teško prepoznati jer se mnogi simptomi, poput ekstremnog umora, povećanja tjelesne težine, bolova u mišićima, depresije i usporenog kretanja i misli, također mogu povezati s mnogim drugim stanjima - rekla je dr. med. Natasha Fernando za Mirror.
Liječnica ističe da je put do postavljanja dijagnoze težak jer neki ljudi mogu biti vrlo suzdržani kada govore o nekim svojim simptomima, osobito ako oni uključuju njihov seksualni život i mentalno zdravlje. Mnogi oboljeli mogu povezati nizak libido s osjećam umora ili stresa na poslu, ignorirajući druge potencijalne razloge.
- Ali ako je nečiji libido značajno opao ili ima erektilnu disfunkciju, ne bi trebao patiti u tišini - kaže dr. Fernando.
Dodaje kako je važno da svaka osoba spomene te probleme liječniku obiteljske medicine.
- Uzimanje sveobuhvatne analize krvi također može biti koristan i diskretan prvi korak u otkrivanju jesu li vaši simptomi povezani sa štitnjačom ili je nešto drugo u redu - objasnila je.
Koji se uobičajeni simptomi mogu pojaviti kod bolesti štitnjače?
Uglavnom se simptomi bolesti štitnjače mogu podijeliti u dvije skupine - oni koji se odnose na ubrzani rad štitnjače (hipertireoza) i oni koji se odnose na usporen rad (hipotireoza).
Simptomi ubrzanog rada štitnjače (hipertireoza):
Tjeskoba, razdražljivost i nervoza
Problemi sa spavanjem
Mršavljenje
Povećana štitna žlijezda ili gušu
Slabost mišića i drhtanje
Neredovite menstruacije ili prestanak menstrualnog ciklusa
Osjetljivost na toplinu
Problemi s vidom ili iritacija oka.
Simptomi usporenog rada štitnjače (hipotireoza):
Umor
Debljanje
Zaboravljanje
Česte i obilne menstruacije
Suha i gruba kosa
Hrapav glas
Intolerancija niske temperature.
