Darren Hicky, 51-godišnji engleski državljanin, preminuo je od posljedica gušenja nakon što je pojeo komad vrele pohane ribe, javljaju danas britanski mediji.
Po struci organizator vjenčanja, nesretni je muškarac tragično preminuo nakon što su mu glasnice natekle poslije zalogaja vruće "tortice" paniranog oslića. Jedan od kuhara dao mu je komad ribe da ju kuša, a Hickey ju je progutao u tako vrelome stanju.
Nakon što je zadobio opekotine, uputio se u bolnicu gdje mu je pripisan paracetamol i gdje su ga liječnici uputili da se javi u slučaju da se bol poveća. No nekoliko sati nakon što je otpušten iz bolnice, grlo mu je počelo oticati.
Njegov partner Neil Parkinson pronašao ga je u teškome stanju - Hickey se gušio, kašljao i nije mogao udahnuti. Parkinson ga je nekoliko puta udario po leđima, ali to nije pomoglo. Dok je stigla hitna pomoć, već je bio u nesvijesti, a na putu do bolnice je preminuo od posljedica gušenja.
Doktor Patrick Waugh, patolog koji je izvršio naknadni pregled, izjavio je za medije kako je riječ o "ekstremno rijetkome slučaju".
"U principu se jedine ozljede ovakve težine događaju kod žrtava požara ili onih koji slučajno udahnu industrijska isparavanja. Pacijent se u početku može osjećati dobro, no zatim počne oticanje koje može blokirati dišne puteve", objašnjava on, prenosi The Sun.
Užasna smrt dogodila se sedam godina nakon što je Hickey pretrpio moždani udar zbog kojeg je u bolnici proveo punih 18 mjeseci. Nakon toga pojavile su se teškoće u govoru, no liječnici tvrde kako ova dva slučaja nisu povezana.
"Ovu tragediju samo možemo shvatiti kao upozorenje", poručio je javnosti u svjetlu užasnog nesretnog događaja liječnik Alan Walsh.
"Gušenje je izazvano tškim opekotinama nakon konzumacije vrele panirane ribe. Vrlo male, ali s katastrofalnim posljedicama. Ovo je tragedija stravičnih razmjera", dodaju kolege liječnici.

Darren Hicky, 51-godišnji engleski državljanin, preminuo je od posljedica gušenja nakon što je pojeo komad vrele pohane ribe, javljaju danas britanski mediji.
Po struci organizator vjenčanja, nesretni je muškarac tragično preminuo nakon što su mu glasnice natekle poslije zalogaja vruće "tortice" paniranog oslića. Jedan od kuhara dao mu je komad ribe da ju kuša, a Hickey ju je progutao u tako vrelome stanju.
Nakon što je zadobio opekotine, uputio se u bolnicu gdje mu je pripisan paracetamol i gdje su ga liječnici uputili da se javi u slučaju da se bol poveća. No nekoliko sati nakon što je otpušten iz bolnice, grlo mu je počelo oticati.
Njegov partner Neil Parkinson pronašao ga je u teškome stanju - Hickey se gušio, kašljao i nije mogao udahnuti. Parkinson ga je nekoliko puta udario po leđima, ali to nije pomoglo. Dok je stigla hitna pomoć, već je bio u nesvijesti, a na putu do bolnice je preminuo od posljedica gušenja.
Doktor Patrick Waugh, patolog koji je izvršio naknadni pregled, izjavio je za medije kako je riječ o "ekstremno rijetkome slučaju".
"U principu se jedine ozljede ovakve težine događaju kod žrtava požara ili onih koji slučajno udahnu industrijska isparavanja. Pacijent se u početku može osjećati dobro, no zatim počne oticanje koje može blokirati dišne puteve", objašnjava on, prenosi The Sun.
Užasna smrt dogodila se sedam godina nakon što je Hickey pretrpio moždani udar zbog kojeg je u bolnici proveo punih 18 mjeseci. Nakon toga pojavile su se teškoće u govoru, no liječnici tvrde kako ova dva slučaja nisu povezana.
"Ovu tragediju samo možemo shvatiti kao upozorenje", poručio je javnosti u svjetlu užasnog nesretnog događaja liječnik Alan Walsh.
"Gušenje je izazvano tškim opekotinama nakon konzumacije vrele panirane ribe. Vrlo male, ali s katastrofalnim posljedicama. Ovo je tragedija stravičnih razmjera", dodaju kolege liječnici.
