Medicinski profil žene koja je sasvim iznenada oglušila obišao je svjetske portale, a nije ni čudo - dijagnozu ima tek jedan pacijent na njih 13 000 sa sličnim problemom.
Mlada Kineskinja, prenosi Daily Mail, vjerovala je kako se otrovala hranom, a u krevet legla s osjećajem mučnine i blagim zujanjem u ušima. Ovo posljednje pripisala je povraćanju pojedene hrane i nije se mnogo zamarala "simptomima".
No ujutro se probudila da bi ju dočekao sasvim neočekivan dodatak neugodnosti. Nije mogla čuti što joj govori njen dečko, iako je ostale zvukove donekle prepoznavala. Njegove riječi za nju su pak bile apsolutna tišina.
Zabrinuta, posjetila je liječnika, a njeno stanje samo se od sebe pokazalo sasvim začudnim. Glasove liječnica i medicinskih sestara čula je gotovo razgovijetno, dok su muškarci koji bi joj se obratili još uvijek bili nečujni. Selektivni sluh ovog tipa ostavio je sve u šoku.
Riječ je, pokazalo se, o rijetkome stanju koje se rijetko događa osobama sa slušnim problemima. Radi se o "gubitku sluha niske frekvencije" koji ju je učinio sasvim nesposobnom registrirati ikakve dublje tonove u koje spada većina muških glasova.
Stanje je, potvrđuje doktorica koja je liječila ovu mladu ženu, čije je poznato samo prezime Chen, često nemoguće dijagnosticirati, budući da pacijent nije ni svjestan da mu se događa - većinu zvukova čuje sasvim razgovijetno, tek neki budu "utišani" ili, kao u ovome slučaju, potpuno nečujni.
Može biti uzrokovano genetikom, ali u slučaju ove pacijentice "krivci" su fizička preopterećenost, manjak sna i višak stresa koji su potakli reakciju u tijelu - moguće da joj je stanje urođeno, no tek su ga vanjski faktori "upalili".
Liječnici napominju kako je kod gubitka sluha najvažnija pravovremena reakcija i adekvatna liječnička pomoć, a u ovome slučaju, gospođica Chen bi se trebala oporaviti u potpunosti.

Medicinski profil žene koja je sasvim iznenada oglušila obišao je svjetske portale, a nije ni čudo - dijagnozu ima tek jedan pacijent na njih 13 000 sa sličnim problemom.
Mlada Kineskinja, prenosi Daily Mail, vjerovala je kako se otrovala hranom, a u krevet legla s osjećajem mučnine i blagim zujanjem u ušima. Ovo posljednje pripisala je povraćanju pojedene hrane i nije se mnogo zamarala "simptomima".
No ujutro se probudila da bi ju dočekao sasvim neočekivan dodatak neugodnosti. Nije mogla čuti što joj govori njen dečko, iako je ostale zvukove donekle prepoznavala. Njegove riječi za nju su pak bile apsolutna tišina.
Zabrinuta, posjetila je liječnika, a njeno stanje samo se od sebe pokazalo sasvim začudnim. Glasove liječnica i medicinskih sestara čula je gotovo razgovijetno, dok su muškarci koji bi joj se obratili još uvijek bili nečujni. Selektivni sluh ovog tipa ostavio je sve u šoku.
Riječ je, pokazalo se, o rijetkome stanju koje se rijetko događa osobama sa slušnim problemima. Radi se o "gubitku sluha niske frekvencije" koji ju je učinio sasvim nesposobnom registrirati ikakve dublje tonove u koje spada većina muških glasova.
Stanje je, potvrđuje doktorica koja je liječila ovu mladu ženu, čije je poznato samo prezime Chen, često nemoguće dijagnosticirati, budući da pacijent nije ni svjestan da mu se događa - većinu zvukova čuje sasvim razgovijetno, tek neki budu "utišani" ili, kao u ovome slučaju, potpuno nečujni.
Može biti uzrokovano genetikom, ali u slučaju ove pacijentice "krivci" su fizička preopterećenost, manjak sna i višak stresa koji su potakli reakciju u tijelu - moguće da joj je stanje urođeno, no tek su ga vanjski faktori "upalili".
Liječnici napominju kako je kod gubitka sluha najvažnija pravovremena reakcija i adekvatna liječnička pomoć, a u ovome slučaju, gospođica Chen bi se trebala oporaviti u potpunosti.
