Koristim više lijekova. Treba li sve lijekove uzimati poslije jela kako bi se zaštitio želudac?

Kod lijekova koji se uzimaju oralno pacijenti obično pitaju trebaju li uzimati lijek prije ili poslije jela. Ima lijekova kod kojih to nije važno pa se uzimaju neovisno o obroku. No, neki lijekovi imaju veću djelotvornost kada se uzimaju na prazan želudac (većina antibiotika, preparati željeza...), dok primjerice oralni hipoglikemici (za smanjenje šećera u krvi) najbolje djeluju ako se uzimaju uz obrok. Lijekovi često nepovoljno djeluju na sluznicu probavnog sustava, a mogu uzrokovati i ozbiljnije komplikacije kao što su krvarenja i perforacije. To se prije svega odnosi na skupinu nesteroidnih antireumatika (NSAR), lijekova koji se vrlo često koriste protiv bolova i kupuju se u ljekarnama bez recepta, piše Živim.

Takve lijekove treba uzimati poslije obroka, a posebno osjetljivi trebaju ih izbjegavati, odnosno posavjetovati se s liječnikom ili ljekarnikom i odabrati najmanje štetne. Svaki lijek, i onaj koji je propisao liječnik na recept i bezreceptni koji se koristi za samoliječenje, treba uzimati prema uputi koju dobijete od liječnika ili ljekarnika ili prema uputi u pakiranju.

Kod lijekova koji se uzimaju oralno pacijenti obično pitaju trebaju li uzimati lijek prije ili poslije jela. Ima lijekova kod kojih to nije važno pa se uzimaju neovisno o obroku. No, neki lijekovi imaju veću djelotvornost kada se uzimaju na prazan želudac (većina antibiotika, preparati željeza...), dok primjerice oralni hipoglikemici (za smanjenje šećera u krvi) najbolje djeluju ako se uzimaju uz obrok. Lijekovi često nepovoljno djeluju na sluznicu probavnog sustava, a mogu uzrokovati i ozbiljnije komplikacije kao što su krvarenja i perforacije. Kod lijekova koji se uzimaju oralno pacijenti obično pitaju trebaju li uzimati lijek prije ili poslije jela. Ima lijekova kod kojih to nije važno pa se uzimaju neovisno o obroku. No, neki lijekovi imaju veću djelotvornost kada se uzimaju na prazan želudac (većina antibiotika, preparati željeza...), dok primjerice oralni hipoglikemici (za smanjenje šećera u krvi) najbolje djeluju ako se uzimaju uz obrok.
