Srčani udar (infarkt miokarda) najčešće pogađa osobe s aterosklerozom krvnih žila, a ona se razvija kod osoba koje imaju jedan ili više tzv. rizičnih čimbenika, piše Živim.

Dvije su osnovne skupine rizičnih čimbenika: čimbenici na koje ne možemo utjecati (dob, spol, genetika), ali veći dio su oni koje svojim ponašanjem možemo promijeniti i tako znatno smanjiti osobni rizik. Najvažniji čimbenici rizika za srčani udar uključuju:

DOB - viša životna dob znači i veći rizik za srčani udar.

GENETSKA SKLONOST - ako je jedan ili više bliskih rođaka u obitelji imao srčani udar, posebice u mlađoj dobi, postoji tzv. genetska predispozicija ili sklonost za razvoj bolesti.

PUŠENJE - duhanski dim je dokazan, snažan, nezavisan čimbenik rizika za infarkt, pri čemu pušači imaju 2-4 puta veće izglede za srčani udar od osoba koje nikada nisu pušile.

MUŠKI SPOL - muškarci imaju veći rizik za infarkt od žena i obolijevaju u ranijoj dobi nego žene; ulaskom žena u menopauzu ta se razlika izjednačava.

DIJABETES - šećerna bolest je toliko snažan čimbenik rizika za infarkt srca i bolesti krvnih žila da se osobe sa šećernom bolesti liječe kao da su već imale neki neželjeni događaj poput srčanog udara; činjenica je da dvije trećine osoba s dijabetesom umire od bolesti srca i krvnih žila povezanih s komplikacijama šećerne bolesti koje nastaju na krvnim žilama.

KOLESTEROL - povišene vrijednosti ukupnog i tzv. lošeg, LDL kolesterola u izravnoj su vezi s rizikom od srčanog udara.

KRVNI TLAK - povišeni krvni tlak nezavisni je čimbenik rizika koji povećava rizik za srčani udar.

TJELESNA AKTIVNOST - izostanak ili premala tjelesna aktivnost također su povezani sa sklonošću za infarkt; redovita umjerena tjelovježba sprečava bolesti srca i krvnih žila jer se vježbanjem kontroliraju i drugi značajni čimbenici rizika poput krvnog tlaka, kolesterola i šećera u krvi.

PRETILOST - povećana tjelesna težina i pretilost (posebice povećani opseg struka) rizični su čimbenik za bolesti srca i krvnih žila čak i kod osoba koje nemaju druge čimbenike rizika; gubitak težine od samo 5 kg može znatno smanjiti rizik od ateroskleroze.

IZRAČUNAJTE VLASTITI RIZIK OD INFARKTA

Svaka osoba može izračunati svoj rizik za nastup srčanog udara ili drugog neželjenog događaja koji su posljedica aterosklero- ze u razdoblju od idućih 10 godina. Za to na internetu postoje odlični kalkulatori rizika, na primjer Heart Score. Tako će, primjerice, muškarac u dobi od 51 go- dine, pušač, sa sistoličkim tlakom od 150 mmHg i ukupnim kolesterolom od 6,3 mmol/l imati 10-godišnji rizik za srčani udar od sedam posto. Ova osoba ne može promijeniti spol, dob ili genetsko nasljeđe, ali ako prestane pušiti, regulira krvni tlak (tako da sistolička vrijednost bude ispod 140 mmHg) i kolesterol (tako da ukupni kolesterol bude ispod 5 mmol/l), njezin će se rizik za srčani udar u idućih 10 godina smanjiti na samo dva posto, što znači 3,5 puta manji rizik.

Srčani udar (infarkt miokarda) najčešće pogađa osobe s aterosklerozom krvnih žila, a ona se razvija kod osoba koje imaju jedan ili više tzv. rizičnih čimbenika, piše Živim.

Dvije su osnovne skupine rizičnih čimbenika: čimbenici na koje ne možemo utjecati (dob, spol, genetika), ali veći dio su oni koje svojim ponašanjem možemo promijeniti i tako znatno smanjiti osobni rizik. Najvažniji čimbenici rizika za srčani udar uključuju:

DOB - viša životna dob znači i veći rizik za srčani udar.

GENETSKA SKLONOST - ako je jedan ili više bliskih rođaka u obitelji imao srčani udar, posebice u mlađoj dobi, postoji tzv. genetska predispozicija ili sklonost za razvoj bolesti.

PUŠENJE - duhanski dim je dokazan, snažan, nezavisan čimbenik rizika za infarkt, pri čemu pušači imaju 2-4 puta veće izglede za srčani udar od osoba koje nikada nisu pušile.

MUŠKI SPOL - muškarci imaju veći rizik za infarkt od žena i obolijevaju u ranijoj dobi nego žene; ulaskom žena u menopauzu ta se razlika izjednačava.

DIJABETES - šećerna bolest je toliko snažan čimbenik rizika za infarkt srca i bolesti krvnih žila da se osobe sa šećernom bolesti liječe kao da su već imale neki neželjeni događaj poput srčanog udara; činjenica je da dvije trećine osoba s dijabetesom umire od bolesti srca i krvnih žila povezanih s komplikacijama šećerne bolesti koje nastaju na krvnim žilama.

KOLESTEROL - povišene vrijednosti ukupnog i tzv. lošeg, LDL kolesterola u izravnoj su vezi s rizikom od srčanog udara.

KRVNI TLAK - povišeni krvni tlak nezavisni je čimbenik rizika koji povećava rizik za srčani udar.

TJELESNA AKTIVNOST - izostanak ili premala tjelesna aktivnost također su povezani sa sklonošću za infarkt; redovita umjerena tjelovježba sprečava bolesti srca i krvnih žila jer se vježbanjem kontroliraju i drugi značajni čimbenici rizika poput krvnog tlaka, kolesterola i šećera u krvi.

PRETILOST - povećana tjelesna težina i pretilost (posebice povećani opseg struka) rizični su čimbenik za bolesti srca i krvnih žila čak i kod osoba koje nemaju druge čimbenike rizika; gubitak težine od samo 5 kg može znatno smanjiti rizik od ateroskleroze.

IZRAČUNAJTE VLASTITI RIZIK OD INFARKTA

Svaka osoba može izračunati svoj rizik za nastup srčanog udara ili drugog neželjenog događaja koji su posljedica aterosklero- ze u razdoblju od idućih 10 godina. Za to na internetu postoje odlični kalkulatori rizika, na primjer Heart Score. Tako će, primjerice, muškarac u dobi od 51 go- dine, pušač, sa sistoličkim tlakom od 150 mmHg i ukupnim kolesterolom od 6,3 mmol/l imati 10-godišnji rizik za srčani udar od sedam posto. Ova osoba ne može promijeniti spol, dob ili genetsko nasljeđe, ali ako prestane pušiti, regulira krvni tlak (tako da sistolička vrijednost bude ispod 140 mmHg) i kolesterol (tako da ukupni kolesterol bude ispod 5 mmol/l), njezin će se rizik za srčani udar u idućih 10 godina smanjiti na samo dva posto, što znači 3,5 puta manji rizik.

Srčani udar (infarkt miokarda) najčešće pogađa osobe s aterosklerozom krvnih žila, a ona se razvija kod osoba koje imaju jedan ili više tzv. rizičnih čimbenika, piše Živim.

Dvije su osnovne skupine rizičnih čimbenika: čimbenici na koje ne možemo utjecati (dob, spol, genetika), ali veći dio su oni koje svojim ponašanjem možemo promijeniti i tako znatno smanjiti osobni rizik. Najvažniji čimbenici rizika za srčani udar uključuju:

DOB - viša životna dob znači i veći rizik za srčani udar.

GENETSKA SKLONOST - ako je jedan ili više bliskih rođaka u obitelji imao srčani udar, posebice u mlađoj dobi, postoji tzv. genetska predispozicija ili sklonost za razvoj bolesti.

PUŠENJE - duhanski dim je dokazan, snažan, nezavisan čimbenik rizika za infarkt, pri čemu pušači im...
