U Njemačkoj će se i dalje sildenafil, aktivna supstancija Viagre, izdavati samo na recept. Jedan stručni odbor Saveznog instituta za lijekove i medicinske proizvode upravo je odbio zahtjev da se ukine obveza recepta. To se odnosi ne samo na čuvene pilule za potenciju Viagra, već i na njezine kopije koje sadrže sildenafil.

Konačnu odluku donosi Ministarstvo zdravstva, ali ono obično slijedi odluke mjerodavnog odbora.

Farmaceutska industrija i udruženja ljekarni dugo traže ukidanje recepta za ove financijski potentne proizvode. Američki Pfizer je samo 2019. širom svijeta prodao Viagre za gotovo pola milijarde dolara iako je zaštita patenta istekla još 2012. pa je na tržištu bezbroj generičkih pilula sa sličnim djelovanjem, piše Alexander Freund za Deutsche Welle.

Ti proizvodi su u slobodnoj prodaji u mnogim europskim zemljama poput Srbije, Poljske, Velike Britanije, Švedske i Norveške. U nekima od tih zemalja je nužno da ljekarniri budu dodatno educirani kako bi mogli kompetentno savjetovati kupce.

"To nisu bomboni koji se gutaju tek tako", kaže dr. Ursula Sellerberg, glasnogovornica Savezne udruge njemačkih ljekarni (ABDA). "Savjetovanje od školovanih farmaceuta je nužno kao i kod drugih lijekova."

Sastav koji ne odgovara deklaraciji

To i jest jedan od argumenata ljekarni: na crnom tržištu se ove navodno čudotvorne pilule prodaju bez ikakve kontrole, a lako ih je naručiti i preko interneta.

Na crnom tržištu su proizvodi loše kvalitete, kaže profesor Frank Sommer, predsjednik Njemačkog društva za muškarca i zdravlje. On kaže da su ispitivanja 22 proizvoda pribavljena preko interneta pokazala da u 80 posto njih sastav nije kao što je naveden u opisu. "Bilo je onih kod kojih je doza četiri puta viša“, kaže Sommer.

Po Sommerovim riječima takvi proizvodi pri redovitoj upotrebi donose ogroman rizik od oštećenja srca. Neki drugi preparati su, dodaje, imali i tragove teških metala.

U Njemačkoj se Viagra može naručiti iz inozemstva po visokoj cijeni od 60 eura za četiri tablete.

Profesor Sommer daje glavni argument zašto se Viagra i dalje izdaje samo na recept: erektilna disfunkcija kod muškaraca često ukazuje na ozbiljne probleme poput dijabetesa ili srčanih tegoba. A to se ne rješava jednom pilulom.

"Ako je erektilna disfunkcija uzrokovana problemima s krvnim žilama, ona je glasnik srčanog ili moždanog udara. Pregledom krvnih žila to možemo obično ustanoviti osam godina unaprijed. To je dovoljno vremena da se nešto poduzme. Ali, ako se uopće ne ide liječniku, onda nemamo tu priliku", kaže Sommer.

Viagra kao 'dar s neba'

Ako se bolest ne liječi, i erektilna funkcija se pogoršava. "Tako se mogu oštetiti živci, čitava infrastruktura penisa, krvne žile koji vode do njega", nabraja Sommer. Ako se ne otkrije uzrok, muške patnje samo bivaju sve veće.

Zato je potrebna sve jača doza da bi se došlo do erekcije. Sve dok ni najjača doza više nije dovoljna. Ako se tek tada ode liječniku, često je prekasno za liječenje“, zaključuje profesor Sommer.

Još jedan razlog je to što pacijenti često ne znaju kakav učinak može imati kombiniranje drugih lijekova i Viagre. Recimo, lijekova za srce od kojih neki imaju nitrate koji se loše podnose sa sildenafilom. U kombinaciji mogu voditi dramatičnom padu krvnog tlaka, a to može dovesti i do smrti.

Profesor Sommer ipak Pfizerovo otkriće sildenafila naziva "darom s neba". Jer, sveprisutna plava pilula je pridonijela da se o problemima s erekcijom otvorenije govori kao i da se taj fenomen podrobnije ispita.

"Tek tako se pokazalo da stanje krvnih žila penisa može navijestiti infarkt. I šećerna bolest se od tada ranije dijagnosticira", kaže on.

Osamdesetih godina se, priča Sommer, vjerovalo da 90 posto problema s erekcijom dolazi iz psihe. "Danas znanost kaže da je obrnuto: 80 do 90 posto problema imaju tjelesne uzroke, a tek onda dolazi strah od zakazivanja", piše Deutsche Welle.

U Njemačkoj će se i dalje sildenafil, aktivna supstancija Viagre, izdavati samo na recept. Jedan stručni odbor Saveznog instituta za lijekove i medicinske proizvode upravo je odbio zahtjev da se ukine obveza recepta. To se odnosi ne samo na čuvene pilule za potenciju Viagra, već i na njezine kopije koje sadrže sildenafil.

Konačnu odluku donosi Ministarstvo zdravstva, ali ono obično slijedi odluke mjerodavnog odbora.

Farmaceutska industrija i udruženja ljekarni dugo traže ukidanje recepta za ove financijski potentne proizvode. Američki Pfizer je samo 2019. širom svijeta prodao Viagre za gotovo pola milijarde dolara iako je zaštita patenta istekla još 2012. pa je na tržištu bezbroj generičkih pilula sa sličnim djelovanjem, piše Alexander Freund za Deutsche Welle.

Ti proizvodi su u slobodnoj prodaji u mnogim europskim zemljama poput Srbije, Poljske, Velike Britanije, Švedske i Norveške. U nekima od tih zemalja je nužno da ljekarniri budu dodatno educirani kako bi mogli kompetentno savjetovati kupce.

"To nisu bomboni koji se gutaju tek tako", kaže dr. Ursula Sellerberg, glasnogovornica Savezne udruge njemačkih ljekarni (ABDA). "Savjetovanje od školovanih farmaceuta je nužno kao i kod drugih lijekova."

Sastav koji ne odgovara deklaraciji

To i jest jedan od argumenata ljekarni: na crnom tržištu se ove navodno čudotvorne pilule prodaju bez ikakve kontrole, a lako ih je naručiti i preko interneta.

Na crnom tržištu su proizvodi loše kvalitete, kaže profesor Frank Sommer, predsjednik Njemačkog društva za muškarca i zdravlje. On kaže da su ispitivanja 22 proizvoda pribavljena preko interneta pokazala da u 80 posto njih sastav nije kao što je naveden u opisu. "Bilo je onih kod kojih je doza četiri puta viša“, kaže Sommer.

Po Sommerovim riječima takvi proizvodi pri redovitoj upotrebi donose ogroman rizik od oštećenja srca. Neki drugi preparati su, dodaje, imali i tragove teških metala.

U Njemačkoj se Viagra može naručiti iz inozemstva po visokoj cijeni od 60 eura za četiri tablete.

Profesor Sommer daje glavni argument zašto se Viagra i dalje izdaje samo na recept: erektilna disfunkcija kod muškaraca često ukazuje na ozbiljne probleme poput dijabetesa ili srčanih tegoba. A to se ne rješava jednom pilulom.

"Ako je erektilna disfunkcija uzrokovana problemima s krvnim žilama, ona je glasnik srčanog ili moždanog udara. Pregledom krvnih žila to možemo obično ustanoviti osam godina unaprijed. To je dovoljno vremena da se nešto poduzme. Ali, ako se uopće ne ide liječniku, onda nemamo tu priliku", kaže Sommer.

Viagra kao 'dar s neba'

Ako se bolest ne liječi, i erektilna funkcija se pogoršava. "Tako se mogu oštetiti živci, čitava infrastruktura penisa, krvne žile koji vode do njega", nabraja Sommer. Ako se ne otkrije uzrok, muške patnje samo bivaju sve veće.

Zato je potrebna sve jača doza da bi se došlo do erekcije. Sve dok ni najjača doza više nije dovoljna. Ako se tek tada ode liječniku, često je prekasno za liječenje“, zaključuje profesor Sommer.

Još jedan razlog je to što pacijenti često ne znaju kakav učinak može imati kombiniranje drugih lijekova i Viagre. Recimo, lijekova za srce od kojih neki imaju nitrate koji se loše podnose sa sildenafilom. U kombinaciji mogu voditi dramatičnom padu krvnog tlaka, a to može dovesti i do smrti.

Profesor Sommer ipak Pfizerovo otkriće sildenafila naziva "darom s neba". Jer, sveprisutna plava pilula je pridonijela da se o problemima s erekcijom otvorenije govori kao i da se taj fenomen podrobnije ispita.

"Tek tako se pokazalo da stanje krvnih žila penisa može navijestiti infarkt. I šećerna bolest se od tada ranije dijagnosticira", kaže on.

Osamdesetih godina se, priča Sommer, vjerovalo da 90 posto problema s erekcijom dolazi iz psihe. "Danas znanost kaže da je obrnuto: 80 do 90 posto problema imaju tjelesne uzroke, a tek onda dolazi strah od zakazivanja", piše Deutsche Welle.
