Jedna od najpoznatijih uloga cinka je doprinos normalnoj funkciji imunosnog sustava. Utječe na stvaranje i aktivaciju T-limfocita, bijelih krvnih stanica važnih u borbi protiv infekcija, pa se nedovoljan unos ovog minerala negativno odražava na broj i funkciju T-stanica, a time i na imunitet. Možda je zapravo najlakše reći da je cink veliki organizator koji pomaže tijelu u apsorpciji svih ostalih nutrijenata, pa ako nekome manjka cinka, vrlo je vjerojatno da mu manjka i mnogih drugih hranjivih tvari, što onda dovodi do ozbiljnih posljedica koje pogađaju i imunosni sustav

Ženama je potrebno oko 12 mg cinka na dan, muškarcima oko 15 mg, a djeci oko 10 miligrama. Bez negativnih posljedica odrasli mogu unositi i do 40 mg, ali to ne bi trebalo biti dugotrajno jer će smanjiti apsorpciju bakra i željeza.

Najbolji izvori

Uvjerljivo najbogatiji prehrambeni izvor cinka su kamenice, u šest kamenica srednje veličine ima oko 32 mg cinka, dakle više od dvostruke dnevne potrebe. Izvori su i neke druge školjke, rakovi, crveno meso, ali i namirnice biljnog porijekla. Od mesa spomenimo govedinu (100 g = 4,8 mg cinka), od školjki dagnje (100 g = 1,5 mg), od ostalih izvora sjemenke sezama (100 g = 10,2 mg), sjemenke bundeve (100 g = 7,81 mg), shiitake gljive (100 = 7,66 mg), tamnu čokoladu (100 g = 6,8 mg), sjemenke lana (100 g = 5 mg), slanutak (100 g = 3,43 mg), grah (100 g = 2,79 mg). Jaje sadrži oko 0,5 mg cinka.

Jedna od najpoznatijih uloga cinka je doprinos normalnoj funkciji imunosnog sustava. Utječe na stvaranje i aktivaciju T-limfocita, bijelih krvnih stanica važnih u borbi protiv infekcija, pa se nedovoljan unos ovog minerala negativno odražava na broj i funkciju T-stanica, a time i na imunitet. Ženama je potrebno oko 12 mg cinka na dan, muškarcima oko 15 mg, a djeci oko 10 miligrama. Bez negativnih posljedica odrasli mogu unositi i do 40 mg, ali to ne bi trebalo biti dugotrajno jer će smanjiti apsorpciju bakra i željeza.

Uvjerljivo najbogatiji prehrambeni izvor cinka su kamenice, u šest kamenica srednje veličine ima oko 32 mg cinka, dakle više od dvostruke dnevne potrebe. Izvori su i neke druge školjke, rakovi, crveno meso, ali i namirnice biljnog porijekla. Od mesa spomenimo govedinu (100 g = 4,8 mg cinka), od školjki dagnje (100 g = 1,5 mg), od ostalih izvora sjemenke sezama (100 g = 10,2 mg), sjemenke bundeve (100 g = 7,81 mg), shiitake gljive (100 = 7,66 mg), tamnu čokoladu (100 g = 6,8 mg), sjemenke lana (100 g = 5 mg), slanutak (100 g = 3,43 mg), grah (100 g = 2,79 mg). Jaje sadrži oko 0,5 mg cinka.

Unos visokih doza cinka u prosjeku skraćuje prehladu za tri dana, koja uglavnom traje sedam do deset dana, pokazuju analize istraživanja koja su se bavila zaštitnom ulogom cinka na imunosni sustav, piše Živim.

Jedna od najpoznatijih uloga cinka je doprinos normalnoj funkciji imunosnog sustava.
