Povišen krvni tlak je glavni uzrok moždanog udara, za kojeg se zna da utječe na osjetila, uključujući okus i miris. No, postoje dokazi da se olfaktivne promjene mogu pojaviti i prije nego što dođe do moždanog udara.
Prema jednom istraživanju, olfaktivne promjene su češće kod osoba s povišenim krvnim tlakom nego što su kod osoba koje nemaju taj zdravstveni problem.
Znanstvenici vjeruju da se te promjene mogu pojaviti u obliku percepcije fantomskih mirisa.
Percepcija fantomskog mirisa događa se kad osoba doživljava kratke epizode osjeta mirisa kojeg zapravo uopće nema. To se obično događa ako osoba ima neliječeno oštećenje sljepoočnog režnja u mozgu ili je imala neki oblik povrede glave, piše Živim.
Percepcija fantomskog mirisa je olfaktivni poremećaj kod kojeg osoba percipira miris u odsustvu stimulansa. Naime, osobe s percepcijom fantomskog mirisa mogu imati neravnotežu neuralne signalizacije koja omogućava da nepostojeći miris dopre do središnjeg živčanog sustava.
Uzrok tog stanja je još uvijek nepoznat, no primijećeno je da se često javlja uz neka druga patološka stanja. Naime, osobe s dijabetesom, povišenom razinom kolesterola i povišenim krvnim tlakom mogu imati viši rizik za percepciju fantomskog mirisa, pokazalo je istraživanje.
Istraživanje iz 2020., objavljeno u časopisu Laryngoscope, pokazalo je da je moždani udar bio povezan sa 76 posto većom vjerojatnošću za percepciju fantomskog mirisa.
Kongestivno zatajenje srca povezano je s 3 puta većom vjerojatnošću za percepciju fantomskog mirisa među odraslim osobama u dobi između 40 i 50 godina.
Odrasle osobe s dijagnosticiranim povišenim kolesterolom, ali koji se drži pod kontrolom, imale su fantomski miris češće od osoba koje nemaju povišen kolesterol.
Autori istraživanja otkrili su i da odrasle osobe s dijagnosticiranim povišenim krvnim tlakom, ali koji je dobro reguliran, imaju fantomski miris češće nego osobe koje nemaju povišen krvni tlak.
- Uočili smo tri puta veće šanse za percepciju fantomskog mirisa i među osobama u dobi od 60 i više godina s dijagnosticiranim dijabetesom, ali samo među onima koji koriste i inzulin i oralnu terapiju - rekli su znanstvenici.

Promjene navika
S obzirom na to da je povišen krvni tlak usko povezan s faktorima koji se odnose na način života, male promjene u načinu života mogu značajno smanjiti vrijednosti krvnog tlaka.
Prosječno svaki dan u organizam unesemo 11 grama soli, a to je dva puta više nego što je preporuka (5 g) i čak pet puta više od fizioloških potreba našeg organizma.
Gotovo sve dosadašnje studije dokazale su da je visoki prehrambeni unos kuhinjske soli glavni uzrok visokog krvnog tlaka.
Kuhinjska sol je natrijev klorid, a natrij zadržava tekućinu u našem tijelu i povećava cirkulacijski volumen. Računa se da svaki gram natrija zadržava čak 70 mililitara vode.
Povećani cirkulacijski volumen povisuje krvni tlak, a osobito to može biti opasno u onih kojima su već krvne žile sužene jer su obložene plakom uslijed aterosklerotskih promjena (a one nam dolaze i sa starošću, a ne samo lošom prehranom). Zato ne dosoljavajte hranu, koristite više začina i obavezno čitajte deklaracije jer je navedena količina soli, piše Živim.

Povišen krvni tlak je glavni uzrok moždanog udara, za kojeg se zna da utječe na osjetila, uključujući okus i miris. No, postoje dokazi da se olfaktivne promjene mogu pojaviti i prije nego što dođe do moždanog udara.
Prema jednom istraživanju, olfaktivne promjene su češće kod osoba s povišenim krvnim tlakom nego što su kod osoba koje nemaju taj zdravstveni problem.
Znanstvenici vjeruju da se te promjene mogu pojaviti u obliku percepcije fantomskih mirisa.
Percepcija fantomskog mirisa događa se kad osoba doživljava kratke epizode osjeta mirisa kojeg zapravo uopće nema. To se obično događa ako osoba ima neliječeno oštećenje sljepoočnog režnja u mozgu ili je imala neki oblik povrede glave, piše Živim.
Percepcija fantomskog mirisa je olfaktivni poremećaj kod kojeg osoba percipira miris u odsustvu stimulansa. Naime, osobe s percepcijom fantomskog mirisa mogu imati neravnotežu neuralne signalizacije koja omogućava da nepostojeći miris dopre do središnjeg živčanog sustava.
Uzrok tog stanja je još uvijek nepoznat, no primijećeno je da se često javlja uz neka druga patološka stanja. Naime, osobe s dijabetesom, povišenom razinom kolesterola i povišenim krvnim tlakom mogu imati viši rizik za percepciju fantomskog mirisa, pokazalo je istraživanje.
Istraživanje iz 2020., objavljeno u časopisu Laryngoscope, pokazalo je da je moždani udar bio povezan sa 76 posto većom vjerojatnošću za percepciju fantomskog mirisa.
Kongestivno zatajenje srca povezano je s 3 puta većom vjerojatnošću za percepciju fantomskog mirisa među odraslim osobama u dobi između 40 i 50 godina.
Odrasle osobe s dijagnosticiranim povišenim kolesterolom, ali koji se drži pod kontrolom, imale su fantomski miris češće od osoba koje nemaju povišen kolesterol.
Autori istraživanja otkrili su i da odrasle osobe s dijagnosticiranim povišenim krvnim tlakom, ali koji je dobro reguliran, imaju fantomski miris češće nego osobe koje nemaju povišen krvni tlak.
- Uočili smo tri puta veće šanse za percepciju fantomskog mirisa i među osobama u dobi od 60 i više godina s dijagnosticiranim dijabetesom, ali samo među onima koji koriste i inzulin i oralnu terapiju - rekli su znanstvenici.

Promjene navika
S obzirom na to da je povišen krvni tlak usko povezan s faktorima koji se odnose na način života, male promjene u načinu života mogu značajno smanjiti vrijednosti krvnog tlaka.
Prosječno svaki dan u organizam unesemo 11 grama soli, a to je dva puta više nego što je preporuka (5 g) i čak pet puta više od fizioloških potreba našeg organizma.
Gotovo sve dosadašnje studije dokazale su da je visoki prehrambeni unos kuhinjske soli glavni uzrok visokog krvnog tlaka.
Kuhinjska sol je natrijev klorid, a natrij zadržava tekućinu u našem tijelu i povećava cirkulacijski volumen. Računa se da svaki gram natrija zadržava čak 70 mililitara vode.
Povećani cirkulacijski volumen povisuje krvni tlak, a osobito to može biti opasno u onih kojima su već krvne žile sužene jer su obložene plakom uslijed aterosklerotskih promjena (a one nam dolaze i sa starošću, a ne samo lošom prehranom). Zato ne dosoljavajte hranu, koristite više začina i obavezno čitajte deklaracije jer je navedena količina soli, piše Živim.
