Nova studija čiji cilj je bio istražiti blagotvorne učinke biljne prehrane na ljudski organizam donijela je podatke koji otkrivaju da specifična dijeta ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe neće imati utjecaja na gubitak kilograma, ubrzanje metabolizma ili kardiovaskularno zdravlje ljudi, piše New Atlas.

Naturopat Peter D’Adamo popularizirao je sredinom 1990-ih 'dijetu po krvim grupama' koja predlaže različite prehrambene intervencije ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe. Primjerice, za tip 0 on smatra da su ga nosili naši najstariji preci pa mu stoga pogoduje dijeta u paleo stilu s visokim udjelom životinjskih bjelančevina. S druge strane, tip A smatra agrarnom krvnom skupinom koja je najprikladnija za vegetarijansku prehranu bez crvenog mesa.

D’Adamova knjiga 'Eat right for your type' prodana je u milijunima primjeraka diljem svijeta, a slične dijete i prehrambene navike i danas su izuzetno popularne kod dijela ljudi. Ipak, nikada nisu predstavljeni nikakvi znanstveni dokazi koji bi potvrđivali tvrdnje o prehrani krvne grupe, štoviše upravo je suprotno.

Posljednji dokazi koji razotkrivaju ovu još kolajuću pseudoznanstvenu prehrambenu modu dolaze iz nedavno završenog kliničkog ispitivanja koje istražuje metaboličke učinke veganske prehrane s malo masnoće. Pokus je regrutirao preko 200 ispitanika s prekomjernom tjelesnom težinom i nasumce ih podijelio u jednu od dvije skupine nadalje praćene kroz 16 tjedana. Kontrolnoj skupini nisu se mijenjale prehrambene navike dok je druga, interventna, imala zadatak jesti vegansku hranu s niskim udjelom masti tijekom 16 tjedana.

Primarni nalaz ispitivanja, objavljen u časopisu JAMA Network Open, bio je da je biljna prehrambena intervencija povećala metaboličku aktivnost nakon obroka za oko 20 posto. To je, naravno, dovelo do povećane osjetljivosti na inzulin i gubitka težine u usporedbi s pripadnicima kontrolne skupine.

Sekundarna analiza istraživanja naknadno je objavljena, a odnosi se na učinak koji je tip prehrane imao u odnosu na krvnu grupu sudionika. Da je istinitno ono što se govori o utjecaju krvnih grupa tada bi prehrambena intervencija napravljena u ispitivanju trebala biti mnogo korisnija za ispitanike krvne grupe A i manje učinkovita za ispitanike krvne grupe 0.

Međutim autor nove studije Neal Barnard orktiva kako to uopće nije bio slučaj.

-Otkrili smo da krvna grupa nije imala nikakvog utjecaja. Iako dijeta po krvnim grupama kaže da bi biljna prehrana trebala biti bolja za krvnu grupu A, a manje dobra za krvnu grupu 0, ispostavilo se da je korisna za ljude svih krvnih grupa, a nije bilo dokaza da je mesna prehrana dobro za bilo koga.

Uz gubitak kilograma, ispitivanje je proučavalo druge promjene na zdravlje ispitanika kao što su razina lipida u krvi i kontrola glikemije. Nisu otkrivene značajne razlike između bilo koje različite skupine krvnih grupa ni po tom pitanju, a utvrđeno je i da je prehrambena intervencija bila jednako korisna bez obzira na krvnu grupu.

-Naše istraživanje pokazuje da sve krvne grupe imaju jednaku korist od veganske prehrane koja se temelji na konzumaciji voća i povrća, mahunarki i cjelovitih žitarica, posebno u odnosu na gubitak kilograma i kardio metaboličko zdravlje odraslih ljudi s prekomjernom težinom, dodao je Barnard.

Iako je ovo ispitivanje istraživalo samo jednu specifičnu prehrambenu intervenciju koja se ne može primijeniti na sve, svejedno je već dokaz kako teorija D'Adamoa ne drži vodu. Uz to ovo nije ni prvo istraživanje koje sugerira kako njegov nutricionizam nema smisla. Sustavni pregled znanstvene literature 2013. nije pronašao nikakav dokaz koji sugerirao da određene krvne grupe imaju koristi od određenih prehrambenih strategija.

Nova studija čiji cilj je bio istražiti blagotvorne učinke biljne prehrane na ljudski organizam donijela je podatke koji otkrivaju da specifična dijeta ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe neće imati utjecaja na gubitak kilograma, ubrzanje metabolizma ili kardiovaskularno zdravlje ljudi, piše New Atlas.

Naturopat Peter D’Adamo popularizirao je sredinom 1990-ih 'dijetu po krvim grupama' koja predlaže različite prehrambene intervencije ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe. Primjerice, za tip 0 on smatra da su ga nosili naši najstariji preci pa mu stoga pogoduje dijeta u paleo stilu s visokim udjelom životinjskih bjelančevina. S druge strane, tip A smatra agrarnom krvnom skupinom koja je najprikladnija za vegetarijansku prehranu bez crvenog mesa.

D’Adamova knjiga 'Eat right for your type' prodana je u milijunima primjeraka diljem svijeta, a slične dijete i prehrambene navike i danas su izuzetno popularne kod dijela ljudi. Ipak, nikada nisu predstavljeni nikakvi znanstveni dokazi koji bi potvrđivali tvrdnje o prehrani krvne grupe, štoviše upravo je suprotno.

Posljednji dokazi koji razotkrivaju ovu još kolajuću pseudoznanstvenu prehrambenu modu dolaze iz nedavno završenog kliničkog ispitivanja koje istražuje metaboličke učinke veganske prehrane s malo masnoće. Pokus je regrutirao preko 200 ispitanika s prekomjernom tjelesnom težinom i nasumce ih podijelio u jednu od dvije skupine nadalje praćene kroz 16 tjedana. Kontrolnoj skupini nisu se mijenjale prehrambene navike dok je druga, interventna, imala zadatak jesti vegansku hranu s niskim udjelom masti tijekom 16 tjedana.

Primarni nalaz ispitivanja, objavljen u časopisu JAMA Network Open, bio je da je biljna prehrambena intervencija povećala metaboličku aktivnost nakon obroka za oko 20 posto. To je, naravno, dovelo do povećane osjetljivosti na inzulin i gubitka težine u usporedbi s pripadnicima kontrolne skupine.

Sekundarna analiza istraživanja naknadno je objavljena, a odnosi se na učinak koji je tip prehrane imao u odnosu na krvnu grupu sudionika. Da je istinitno ono što se govori o utjecaju krvnih grupa tada bi prehrambena intervencija napravljena u ispitivanju trebala biti mnogo korisnija za ispitanike krvne grupe A i manje učinkovita za ispitanike krvne grupe 0.

Međutim autor nove studije Neal Barnard orktiva kako to uopće nije bio slučaj.

-Otkrili smo da krvna grupa nije imala nikakvog utjecaja. Iako dijeta po krvnim grupama kaže da bi biljna prehrana trebala biti bolja za krvnu grupu A, a manje dobra za krvnu grupu 0, ispostavilo se da je korisna za ljude svih krvnih grupa, a nije bilo dokaza da je mesna prehrana dobro za bilo koga.

Uz gubitak kilograma, ispitivanje je proučavalo druge promjene na zdravlje ispitanika kao što su razina lipida u krvi i kontrola glikemije. Nisu otkrivene značajne razlike između bilo koje različite skupine krvnih grupa ni po tom pitanju, a utvrđeno je i da je prehrambena intervencija bila jednako korisna bez obzira na krvnu grupu.

-Naše istraživanje pokazuje da sve krvne grupe imaju jednaku korist od veganske prehrane koja se temelji na konzumaciji voća i povrća, mahunarki i cjelovitih žitarica, posebno u odnosu na gubitak kilograma i kardio metaboličko zdravlje odraslih ljudi s prekomjernom težinom, dodao je Barnard.

Iako je ovo ispitivanje istraživalo samo jednu specifičnu prehrambenu intervenciju koja se ne može primijeniti na sve, svejedno je već dokaz kako teorija D'Adamoa ne drži vodu. Uz to ovo nije ni prvo istraživanje koje sugerira kako njegov nutricionizam nema smisla. Sustavni pregled znanstvene literature 2013. nije pronašao nikakav dokaz koji sugerirao da određene krvne grupe imaju koristi od određenih prehrambenih strategija.

Nova studija čiji cilj je bio istražiti blagotvorne učinke biljne prehrane na ljudski organizam donijela je podatke koji otkrivaju da specifična dijeta ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe neće imati utjecaja na gubitak kilograma, ubrzanje metabolizma ili kardiovaskularno zdravlje ljudi, piše New Atlas.

Naturopat Peter D’Adamo popularizirao je sredinom 1990-ih 'dijetu po krvim grupama' koja predlaže različite prehrambene intervencije ovisno o krvnoj grupi osobe. Primjerice, za tip 0 on smatra da su ga nosili naši najstariji preci pa mu stoga pogoduje dijeta u paleo stilu s visokim udjelom životinjskih bjelančevina. S druge strane, tip A smatra agrarnom krvnom skupinom koja je najprikladnija za vegetarijansku prehranu bez crvenog mesa.
