Dobrobiti leda i ledenih kupki poznate su od davnina, posebice kada je riječ o ublažavanju boli, ozljeda, oteklina ili upala, a u današnje vrijeme pojam krioterapije ili liječenja ledom poprimio je nešto šire okvire.
Tretman krioterapije u dermatologiji se provodi pomoću tekućeg dušika na temperaturi od -196°C posebnim uređajem za uklanjanje ožiljaka i nedostataka na koži, no u kućnoj verziji terapija ledom zahtijeva nešto manje sredstava za pothlađivanje ili smrzavanje u svrhu liječenja, ali su i rezultati bitno drugačiji.
Osim za spomenute situacije, u kojima led dokazano djeluje, najnovija istraživanja povezuju ga i s nekim rutinama ljepote, pa smo odlučili provjeriti o čemu je riječ. Zagovornici ove beauty metode svjedoče o djelotvornosti leda u slučajevima natečenih očiju, upaljenih akni, opeklina od sunca, uboda insekta, raznih osipa, smanjenih znakova starenja te pojačanog zdravog sjaja kože.
Znatiželjni kakvi jesmo, i sami smo isprobali ovu metodu iako za nju ne postoje klinički dokazi, a evo kakvi su bili rezultati.

Ledena rutina
Pobornici tretmana ljepote ledom savjetuju korištenje ovog jeftinog resursa na jednostavan i brz način. Sve što trebate napraviti jest u čistu pamučnu tkaninu staviti nekoliko kockica leda i laganim pokretima masirati kožu svoga lica minutu do dvije. Pri tome, posvetite se svim područjima svoga lica, od čela do brade, uključujući i obraze, rubne dijelove lica te područje oko očiju, nosa i usta.

Djelovanje leda
S Mayo klinike, korištenje ledene metode savjetuju kod problema s natečenim očima i izraženim podočnjacima. Ledeni oblozi, nakon nekoliko minuta pritiska na podočnjake, trebali li bi ublažiti njihovu vidljivost i otečenost, a ovu smo metodu i sami isprobali.
Otečeni podočnjaci neizostavan su dodatak na licu živite li brzo, a spavate malo, a rješenja za njih gotovo su uvijek kratkoročna. Svoje smo podočnjake stoga odlučili neko vrijeme tretirati metodom leda, lagano ih masirajući svaki dan po nekoliko minuta. Nakon početnog neugodnog osjećaja zbog hladnoće, područje oko očiju izgledalo je znatno opuštenije. Prvotni utisak bio je da metoda zaista djeluje, no već nakon nekoliko sati situacija se počela lagano mijenjati prema originalnom (čitaj natečenom) stanju.
Nekakav zaključak bio bi da led na natečene podočnjake djeluje blagonaklono, ali samo u kombinaciji s dovoljno sati sna.

Ipak, metodi ledom odlučili smo dati još jednu priliku budući da zagovornici ovog tretmana obećavaju smanjenje upalnih procesa kod akni zbog sužavanja pora i suzbijanja prekomjernog stvaranja ulja na koži.
Akne, srećom, nemamo, no problem viška ulja na koži ne uspijevamo riješiti ni uz razne preparate, pa smo se odlučili provjeriti ovu jednostavnu kućnu metodu. Kao i u prethodnom slučaju, čistu pamučnu tkaninu napunili smo kockicama leda te smo nekoliko večeri za redom masirali svoje lice po nekoliko minuta.
Zaključak je da je koža već nakon nekoliko dana izgledala zategnutije, a masnoća na čelu i bradi svakako je bila manje vidljiva. Savjet stručnjaka u ovom slučaju je da svakako ustrajete u prakticiranju ove metode, no uz temeljitu i redovitu higijenu te korištenje odgovarajućih sredstava za čišćenje i njegu lica.
Druge hranjive opcije
Osim obične vode, dermatolozi savjetuju da prilikom prakticiranja ove metode koristite i neke druge hranjive sastojke koji su dobri za zdravlje kože. Tako, ako kojim slučajem i ne smanjite otečene podočnjake ili ne riješite jednom za uvijek problem s aknama, barem ćete opustiti kožu lica i dodatno je nahraniti.

Jedna studija iz 2013. objavljena u britanskom časopisu PharmacologyTrusted Source, za prakticiranje ove metode, savjetuje korištenje zelenog čaja koji djeluje antivirusno i antibakterijski te umiruje kožu lica, a savjetuje se i korištenje smrznute aloa vere koja može ublažiti opekotine od sunca kao i akne.

Prije nego što isprobate metodu s ledom kod kuće, imate li osjetljivu kožu lica, svakako se posavjetujte sa svojim dermatologom, koji bi vas mogao savjetovati i procijeniti je li to dobro za vaš tip kože.
Ako od liječnika dobijete zeleno svjetlo, evo nekoliko savjeta koje biste morali slijediti:
- Posudicu za led uvijek držite čistom i urednom
- Prije tretmana ledom, lice nježno umijte i očistite
- Dobro pobrišite svu suvišnu tekućinu s lica nakon čišćenje, a prije samog tretmana
- Uvijek koristite čistu pamučnu tkaninu
- Izbjegavajte predugo led držati na koži lica

Dobrobiti leda i ledenih kupki poznate su od davnina, posebice kada je riječ o ublažavanju boli, ozljeda, oteklina ili upala, a u današnje vrijeme pojam krioterapije ili liječenja ledom poprimio je nešto šire okvire.
Tretman krioterapije u dermatologiji se provodi pomoću tekućeg dušika na temperaturi od -196°C posebnim uređajem za uklanjanje ožiljaka i nedostataka na koži, no u kućnoj verziji terapija ledom zahtijeva nešto manje sredstava za pothlađivanje ili smrzavanje u svrhu liječenja, ali su i rezultati bitno drugačiji.
Osim za spomenute situacije, u kojima led dokazano djeluje, najnovija istraživanja povezuju ga i s nekim rutinama ljepote, pa smo odlučili provjeriti o čemu je riječ. Zagovornici ove beauty metode svjedoče o djelotvornosti leda u slučajevima natečenih očiju, upaljenih akni, opeklina od sunca, uboda insekta, raznih osipa, smanjenih znakova starenja te pojačanog zdravog sjaja kože.
Znatiželjni kakvi jesmo, i sami smo isprobali ovu metodu iako za nju ne postoje klinički dokazi, a evo kakvi su bili rezultati.

Ledena rutina
Pobornici tretmana ljepote ledom savjetuju korištenje ovog jeftinog resursa na jednostavan i brz način. Sve što trebate napraviti jest u čistu pamučnu tkaninu staviti nekoliko kockica leda i laganim pokretima masirati kožu svoga lica minutu do dvije. Pri tome, posvetite se svim područjima svoga lica, od čela do brade, uključujući i obraze, rubne dijelove lica te područje oko očiju, nosa i usta.

Djelovanje leda
S Mayo klinike, korištenje ledene metode savjetuju kod problema s natečenim očima i izraženim podočnjacima. Ledeni oblozi, nakon nekoliko minuta pritiska na podočnjake, trebali li bi ublažiti njihovu vidljivost i otečenost, a ovu smo metodu i sami isprobali.
Otečeni podočnjaci neizostavan su dodatak na licu živite li brzo, a spavate malo, a rješenja za njih gotovo su uvijek kratkoročna. Svoje smo podočnjake stoga odlučili neko vrijeme tretirati metodom leda, lagano ih masirajući svaki dan po nekoliko minuta. Nakon početnog neugodnog osjećaja zbog hladnoće, područje oko očiju izgledalo je znatno opuštenije. Prvotni utisak bio je da metoda zaista djeluje, no već nakon nekoliko sati situacija se počela lagano mijenjati prema originalnom (čitaj natečenom) stanju.
Nekakav zaključak bio bi da led na natečene podočnjake djeluje blagonaklono, ali samo u kombinaciji s dovoljno sati sna.

Ipak, metodi ledom odlučili smo dati još jednu priliku budući da zagovornici ovog tretmana obećavaju smanjenje upalnih procesa kod akni zbog sužavanja pora i suzbijanja prekomjernog stvaranja ulja na koži.
Akne, srećom, nemamo, no problem viška ulja na koži ne uspijevamo riješiti ni uz razne preparate, pa smo se odlučili provjeriti ovu jednostavnu kućnu metodu. Kao i u prethodnom slučaju, čistu pamučnu tkaninu napunili smo kockicama leda te smo nekoliko večeri za redom masirali svoje lice po nekoliko minuta.
Zaključak je da je koža već nakon nekoliko dana izgledala zategnutije, a masnoća na čelu i bradi svakako je bila manje vidljiva. Savjet stručnjaka u ovom slučaju je da svakako ustrajete u prakticiranju ove metode, no uz temeljitu i redovitu higijenu te korištenje odgovarajućih sredstava za čišćenje i njegu lica.
Druge hranjive opcije
Osim obične vode, dermatolozi savjetuju da prilikom prakticiranja ove metode koristite i neke druge hranjive sastojke koji su dobri za zdravlje kože. Tako, ako kojim slučajem i ne smanjite otečene podočnjake ili ne riješite jednom za uvijek problem s aknama, barem ćete opustiti kožu lica i dodatno je nahraniti.

Jedna studija iz 2013. objavljena u britanskom časopisu PharmacologyTrusted Source, za prakticiranje ove metode, savjetuje korištenje zelenog čaja koji djeluje antivirusno i antibakterijski te umiruje kožu lica, a savjetuje se i korištenje smrznute aloa vere koja može ublažiti opekotine od sunca kao i akne.

Prije nego što isprobate metodu s ledom kod kuće, imate li osjetljivu kožu lica, svakako se posavjetujte sa svojim dermatologom, koji bi vas mogao savjetovati i procijeniti je li to dobro za vaš tip kože.
Ako od liječnika dobijete zeleno svjetlo, evo nekoliko savjeta koje biste morali slijediti:
- Posudicu za led uvijek držite čistom i urednom
- Prije tretmana ledom, lice nježno umijte i očistite
- Dobro pobrišite svu suvišnu tekućinu s lica nakon čišćenje, a prije samog tretmana
- Uvijek koristite čistu pamučnu tkaninu
- Izbjegavajte predugo led držati na koži lica
