Mahunarke su jako zdrave i zgodno ih je imati pri ruci, osobito u hladnijem dobu godine kad volimo jesti jela poput graha sa suhim mesom, leće s kobasicom, jote i variva sa slanutkom. Međutim, nekim osobama, koliko god uživale dok jedu jela s mahunarkama, njihovo probavljanje predstavlja problem. Srećom, toj se neugodnosti često može vrlo lako doskočiti malim promjenama u načinu pripreme.

Bez obzira na to hoćete li koristiti suhe mahunarke ili one konzervirane, ako vam je cilj bolja probavljivost trebat ćete pripaziti na polisaharide jer uravo oni uzrokuju nadutost. Dobra vijest je da se dobar dio polisaharida može dosta lako odstraniti.

Najlakši način da to učinite je da grah, slanutak, leću ili grašak (nakon što su namočeni i spremni za kuhanje ili nakon što ste otvorili konzervu) stavite u sito i temeljito isperete. 

Kad je riječ o suhim mahunarkama pomoći može i dulje namakanje u vodi te dulje kuhanje, no pripazite da ga odradite na nižoj temperaturi kako se zrna ne bi raspala, a od pomoći može biti i višestruko mijenjanje vode tijekom kuhanja, recimo nakon što prvi put uzavre i negdje na pola kuhanja.

Mahunarke su jako zdrave i zgodno ih je imati pri ruci, osobito u hladnijem dobu godine kad volimo jesti jela poput graha sa suhim mesom, leće s kobasicom, jote i variva sa slanutkom. Međutim, nekim osobama, koliko god uživale dok jedu jela s mahunarkama, njihovo probavljanje predstavlja problem. Bez obzira na to hoćete li koristiti suhe mahunarke ili one konzervirane, ako vam je cilj bolja probavljivost trebat ćete pripaziti na polisaharide jer uravo oni uzrokuju nadutost. Dobra vijest je da se dobar dio polisaharida može dosta lako odstraniti.

Najlakši način da to učinite je da grah, slanutak, leću ili grašak (nakon što su namočeni i spremni za kuhanje ili nakon što ste otvorili konzervu) stavite u sito i temeljito isperete. 

Kad je riječ o suhim mahunarkama pomoći može i dulje namakanje u vodi te dulje kuhanje, no pripazite da ga odradite na nižoj temperaturi kako se zrna ne bi raspala, a od pomoći može biti i višestruko mijenjanje vode tijekom kuhanja, recimo nakon što prvi put uzavre i negdje na pola kuhanja.
