Brett Ingram iz Teksasa je na društvenim mrežama podijelila trenutak smiješnog otkrića: našla je divljeg oposuma kako visi u na njenom božićnom drvcu. U videu koji je pregledan 4,8 milijuna puta, Brett je zumirala jelku, među čijim umjetnim sniiegom granama sjedi znatiželjno malo stvorenje.

"Doslovno ludim. Nemam pojma kako je ovaj oposum dospio u moju kuću i na moje drvo", govori Amerikanka na snimci.

Rekla je i kako ga je pokušavala izvući van, ali oposuma takvo nešto nije zanimalo. "Neka mi netko pomogne!", zavapila je očajna djevojka.

U sljedećem videu koji je podijeljen prošli tjedan, Brett je detaljnije ispričala događaj, objašnjavajući da je sama sjedila na kauču kod kuće kada joj je pozornost privuklo "kihanje". Dodala je da ima nekoliko kućnih ljubimaca, pa isprva nije previše razmišljala o buci, sve dok nije čula još jedno glasno kihanje, pa je ustala da pregleda svoju kuću.

Uskoro je otkrila "naizgled velik štakorski rep" koji strši iz njezinog božićnog drvca. Podigla je pogled u potpunoj nevjerici i shvatila s čime je rep povezan: s divljim oposumom.

Odmah se mašila mobitela i nazvala lokalnog stručnjaka za divlje životinje, ali on nije bio dostupan za noćni poziv. Međutim, nakon što se otresla početnog straha, djevojka je shvatila da se, zapravo, ne boji približiti oposumu.

"Imala sam nešto pozadinskog znanja o oposumima i (znala) kako su oni prilično pogrešno shvaćeni", kazala je, ukazujući da, unatoč popularnom mišljenju, nije često da oposumi prenose bjesnoću. Zaista, oposumi nisu potpuno imuni na bjesnoću, ali rijetko je prenose zbog niže tjelesne temperature od većine drugih sisavaca, tako da njihova tijela ne pružaju prikladno okruženje za virus.

Nakon konzultacija sa stručnjakom za divlje životinje, Brett se opremila majicom s kapuljačom i rukavicama pa provela otprilike 30 minuta tjerajući oposuma iz svoje kuće.

"Nije bio agresivan, nije siktao, nije pokazivao znakove da će me napasti, tako da sam jednostavno krenula i riješila to sama. Njegovo lice izgleda malo, ali bio je velik otprilike kao moja mačka, a moja mačka je jako velika", predočila je Teksašanka, priznavši da joj je trebalo nekoliko pokušaja prije nego je uspješno maknula oposuma sa stabla. Činilo se kao da mu je tamo prilično ugodno, kaže.

"Držao se vrlo, vrlo čvrsto. Nije se želio vratiti van, ali zbog svoje sigurnosti, morao je.”

TikToker je kazala i kako je jelka bila okićeno 10 dana prije nego što ju je posjetila životinja,  tako da se oposum svakako nije cijelo to vrijeme skrivao na njemu. ili kutiji.

Humane Society je objasnio da oposumi nisu agresivni. Njihovo obrambeno siktanje otvorenih usta samo je blef kako bi izgledali zlobno. A ako to ne uspije, prave se mrtvi kad su stvarno uplašeni.

"Daleko od toga da su smetnja, oposumi mogu biti korisni za vaš vrt jer jedu puževe, puževe, insekte, a ponekad čak i male glodavce. Čak će počistiti prosuto smeće i voće koje je otpalo s drveća", objasnila je organizacija za prava životinja.

Brett Ingram iz Teksasa je na društvenim mrežama podijelila trenutak smiješnog otkrića: našla je divljeg oposuma kako visi u na njenom božićnom drvcu. U videu koji je pregledan 4,8 milijuna puta, Brett je zumirala jelku, među čijim umjetnim sniiegom granama sjedi znatiželjno malo stvorenje.

"Doslovno ludim. Nemam pojma kako je ovaj oposum dospio u moju kuću i na moje drvo", govori Amerikanka na snimci.

Rekla je i kako ga je pokušavala izvući van, ali oposuma takvo nešto nije zanimalo. "Neka mi netko pomogne!", zavapila je očajna djevojka.

U sljedećem videu koji je podijeljen prošli tjedan, Brett je detaljnije ispričala događaj, objašnjavajući da je sama sjedila na kauču kod kuće kada joj je pozornost privuklo "kihanje". Dodala je da ima nekoliko kućnih ljubimaca, pa isprva nije previše razmišljala o buci, sve dok nije čula još jedno glasno kihanje, pa je ustala da pregleda svoju kuću.

Uskoro je otkrila "naizgled velik štakorski rep" koji strši iz njezinog božićnog drvca. Podigla je pogled u potpunoj nevjerici i shvatila s čime je rep povezan: s divljim oposumom.

Odmah se mašila mobitela i nazvala lokalnog stručnjaka za divlje životinje, ali on nije bio dostupan za noćni poziv. Međutim, nakon što se otresla početnog straha, djevojka je shvatila da se, zapravo, ne boji približiti oposumu.

"Imala sam nešto pozadinskog znanja o oposumima i (znala) kako su oni prilično pogrešno shvaćeni", kazala je, ukazujući da, unatoč popularnom mišljenju, nije često da oposumi prenose bjesnoću. Zaista, oposumi nisu potpuno imuni na bjesnoću, ali rijetko je prenose zbog niže tjelesne temperature od većine drugih sisavaca, tako da njihova tijela ne pružaju prikladno okruženje za virus.

Nakon konzultacija sa stručnjakom za divlje životinje, Brett se opremila majicom s kapuljačom i rukavicama pa provela otprilike 30 minuta tjerajući oposuma iz svoje kuće.

"Nije bio agresivan, nije siktao, nije pokazivao znakove da će me napasti, tako da sam jednostavno krenula i riješila to sama. Njegovo lice izgleda malo, ali bio je velik otprilike kao moja mačka, a moja mačka je jako velika", predočila je Teksašanka, priznavši da joj je trebalo nekoliko pokušaja prije nego je uspješno maknula oposuma sa stabla. Činilo se kao da mu je tamo prilično ugodno, kaže.

"Držao se vrlo, vrlo čvrsto. Nije se želio vratiti van, ali zbog svoje sigurnosti, morao je.”

TikToker je kazala i kako je jelka bila okićeno 10 dana prije nego što ju je posjetila životinja,  tako da se oposum svakako nije cijelo to vrijeme skrivao na njemu. ili kutiji.

Humane Society je objasnio da oposumi nisu agresivni. Njihovo obrambeno siktanje otvorenih usta samo je blef kako bi izgledali zlobno. A ako to ne uspije, prave se mrtvi kad su stvarno uplašeni.

"Daleko od toga da su smetnja, oposumi mogu biti korisni za vaš vrt jer jedu puževe, puževe, insekte, a ponekad čak i male glodavce. Čak će počistiti prosuto smeće i voće koje je otpalo s drveća", objasnila je organizacija za prava životinja.
