Odjeven u bijelu mantiju, svećenik Pierre Hoan iz opatije Moissac na jugozapadu Francuske, nadlijeće zvonike svoje župe malim zrakoplovom blagoslivljajući polja i stoku poljoprivrednika u skladu s tisućljetnom tradicijom koja je zadnjih desetljeća praktički nestala.

"U Moissac sam stigao 2016., no tek su mi prošle godine lokalni poljoprivrednici otkrili da postoji molitva za dobar urod, tradicija za koju dosad nisam znao", objašnjava AFP-u 43-godišnji svećenik Hoan.

Prve takve molitve u Francuskoj datiraju iz 5. stoljeća. Radilo se o procesijama uglavnom namijenjenim dobrim žetvama, stoji u objavi biskupije Montauban te se dodaje da su “župe u kojima se i danas odvijaju postale rijetkost.”

Zabrinut zbog situacije u kojoj su se našli poljoprivrednici zbog izmjene višemjesečnih razdoblja mraza i velikih vrućina, otac Hoan, porijeklom Vijetnamac, odlučio je nadletjeti 16 crkava u svojoj župi i tako blagosloviti polja i stoku nekoliko dana prije kršćanskoga blagdana Uzašašća.

Ulazeći u mali crveno-bijeli zrakoplov dvosjed, svećenik Pierre poškropio ga je svetom vodom, a zatim su zazvonila zvona i izgovorena je molitva. "Svećenik u avionu, to je prikladno za vrijeme u kojemu živimo. S obzirom na 16 crkava i zvonika, ne vidim kako bi blagoslov obavio pješice", kaže uz smiješak stanovnica Moissaca, Annie Laflorentie (69).

Odjeven u bijelu mantiju, svećenik Pierre Hoan iz opatije Moissac na jugozapadu Francuske, nadlijeće zvonike svoje župe malim zrakoplovom blagoslivljajući polja i stoku poljoprivrednika u skladu s tisućljetnom tradicijom koja je zadnjih desetljeća praktički nestala.

"U Moissac sam stigao 2016., no tek su mi prošle godine lokalni poljoprivrednici otkrili da postoji molitva za dobar urod, tradicija za koju dosad nisam znao", objašnjava AFP-u 43-godišnji svećenik Hoan.

Prve takve molitve u Francuskoj datiraju iz 5. stoljeća. Radilo se o procesijama uglavnom namijenjenim dobrim žetvama, stoji u objavi biskupije Montauban te se dodaje da su “župe u kojima se i danas odvijaju postale rijetkost.”

Zabrinut zbog situacije u kojoj su se našli poljoprivrednici zbog izmjene višemjesečnih razdoblja mraza i velikih vrućina, otac Hoan, porijeklom Vijetnamac, odlučio je nadletjeti 16 crkava u svojoj župi i tako blagosloviti polja i stoku nekoliko dana prije kršćanskoga blagdana Uzašašća.

Ulazeći u mali crveno-bijeli zrakoplov dvosjed, svećenik Pierre poškropio ga je svetom vodom, a zatim su zazvonila zvona i izgovorena je molitva. "Svećenik u avionu, to je prikladno za vrijeme u kojemu živimo. S obzirom na 16 crkava i zvonika, ne vidim kako bi blagoslov obavio pješice", kaže uz smiješak stanovnica Moissaca, Annie Laflorentie (69).
