Apple je tijekom posljednjih šest godina preuzeo oko 100 tvrtki, kazao je izvršni direktor tvrtke Tim Cook, piše BBC.
Praktički, Apple kupuje tvrtke svaka tri do četiri tjedna, rekao je u utorak na Appleovom godišnjem sastanku dioničara.
U prvom tromjesečju fiskalne 2021. Apple je ostvario rekordni prihod od 111,4 milijarde dolara (78,7 milijardi funti).
Tim Cook rekao je na skupštini dioničara kako su akvizicije uglavnom usmjerene na stjecanje tehnologije i talenata.
Najveća Appleova akvizicija u posljednjem desetljeću bila je 3 milijarde dolara vrijedna kupovina Beats Electronics, proizvođača slušalica kojeg je osnovao reper i producent Dr Dre.
Još jedna značajna akvizicija bila je 2018. godine kada je Apple za 400 milijuna dolara kupio Shazam, jednu od najpopularnijih glazbenih aplikacija.
Apple najčešće kupuje manje tehnološke tvrtke, te njihove inovacije ugrađuje u vlastite proizvode.
Jedan od primjera je PrimeSense, izraelska tvrtka čija je 3D tehnologija doprinijela Appleovom FaceID-u.
Appleova lista akvizicija i ulaganja izuzetno je raznolika. Tako je kupio, između ostalih, nekoliko tvrtki koje se bave umjetnom inteligencijom (AI), virtualnim događanjima i startupima za plaćanja.
Apple je 2019. godine kupio Drive.ai, tvrtku specijaliziranu za autonomnu vožnju.
U 2016. godini Apple je uložio milijardu dolara u kineski servis za taxi usluge Didi Chuxing, iako to nije bio kontrolni udio.
Apple ima ogroman novac za akvizicije, njegova je tržišna kapitalizacija premašila dvije tisuće milijardi dolara. No, čak i ako je u šest godina kupio 100 tvrtki, čini se da je Apple vrlo selektivan u odabiru onoga što kupuje.
Primjerice, osnivač Tesle Elon Musk otkrio je kako se obratio Timu Cooku radi prodaje posla s električnim automobilima kad je bio u poteškoćama. Ali gosp. Cook nije prihvatio poziv za sastankom.
Kad se gleda vrijednost akvizicija, Apple je u odnosu na svoje tehnološke rivale ulagao manje iznose.
Microsoft je LinkedIn platio 26 milijardi dolara, Amazon je za Whole Foods dao 13,7 milijardi dolara, a Facebook 19 milijardi dolara za WhatsApp. Deset najvećih Appleovih akvizicija i dalje bi vrijedilo daleko manje od bilo koje od tih ponuda, piše BBC.

Apple je tijekom posljednjih šest godina preuzeo oko 100 tvrtki, kazao je izvršni direktor tvrtke Tim Cook, piše BBC.
Praktički, Apple kupuje tvrtke svaka tri do četiri tjedna, rekao je u utorak na Appleovom godišnjem sastanku dioničara.
U prvom tromjesečju fiskalne 2021. Apple je ostvario rekordni prihod od 111,4 milijarde dolara (78,7 milijardi funti).
Tim Cook rekao je na skupštini dioničara kako su akvizicije uglavnom usmjerene na stjecanje tehnologije i talenata.
Najveća Appleova akvizicija u posljednjem desetljeću bila je 3 milijarde dolara vrijedna kupovina Beats Electronics, proizvođača slušalica kojeg je osnovao reper i producent Dr Dre.
Još jedna značajna akvizicija bila je 2018. godine kada je Apple za 400 milijuna dolara kupio Shazam, jednu od najpopularnijih glazbenih aplikacija.
Apple najčešće kupuje manje tehnološke tvrtke, te njihove inovacije ugrađuje u vlastite proizvode.
Jedan od primjera je PrimeSense, izraelska tvrtka čija je 3D tehnologija doprinijela Appleovom FaceID-u.
Appleova lista akvizicija i ulaganja izuzetno je raznolika. Tako je kupio, između ostalih, nekoliko tvrtki koje se bave umjetnom inteligencijom (AI), virtualnim događanjima i startupima za plaćanja.
Apple je 2019. godine kupio Drive.ai, tvrtku specijaliziranu za autonomnu vožnju.
U 2016. godini Apple je uložio milijardu dolara u kineski servis za taxi usluge Didi Chuxing, iako to nije bio kontrolni udio.
Apple ima ogroman novac za akvizicije, njegova je tržišna kapitalizacija premašila dvije tisuće milijardi dolara. No, čak i ako je u šest godina kupio 100 tvrtki, čini se da je Apple vrlo selektivan u odabiru onoga što kupuje.
Primjerice, osnivač Tesle Elon Musk otkrio je kako se obratio Timu Cooku radi prodaje posla s električnim automobilima kad je bio u poteškoćama. Ali gosp. Cook nije prihvatio poziv za sastankom.
Kad se gleda vrijednost akvizicija, Apple je u odnosu na svoje tehnološke rivale ulagao manje iznose.
Microsoft je LinkedIn platio 26 milijardi dolara, Amazon je za Whole Foods dao 13,7 milijardi dolara, a Facebook 19 milijardi dolara za WhatsApp. Deset najvećih Appleovih akvizicija i dalje bi vrijedilo daleko manje od bilo koje od tih ponuda, piše BBC.
