Stoljećima su ljudi ispredali legende o tajanstvenim brodovima koji bez posade plutaju na otvorenom moru. Ponekad takvi napušteni brodovi bez signala upozorenja predstavljaju opasnost za druga plovila. I pored svih dostignuća suvremene tehnike i sustava navigacije, takvih slučajeva ima i danas.

Portal Vintage News objavio je tekst o jednom takvom plovilu, ruskom brodu "Ljubov Orlova".

Napravljen je sada već davne 1976. godine u Hrvatskoj koja je tada bila u sastavu Jugoslavije. Izgrađen je u brodogradilištu Kraljevica (gdje je početkom 20. stoljeća radio Josip Broz Tito – op. ur.), a zatim je isporučen Sovjetskom Savezu. Dobio je ime u čast čuvene sovjetske glumice, prenosi Ruski vijesnik. 

Brod je 1999. renoviran i od tada se koristio za krstarenja i ekspedicije na Antarktiku. Kasnije su vlasnici zapali u dugove, pa su "Orlovu" zaplijenile kanadske vlasti u Newfoundlandu. Kako piše The Independent, trebao je biti prodan u staro željezo u Dominikanskoj Republici za 800 000 eura.

U siječnju 2013. godine, dok je brod plovio na konačno odredište iz kanadske luke St. John’s, počeo je puhati jak vjetar tijekom kojeg je puklo čelično uže za šlepanje, pa su valovi odnijeli brod u stranu. Pokušaji da se "Orlova" ponovo zakači za tegljač nisu urodili plodom, tako da od 24. siječnja 2013. brod pluta oceanom.

Kanadska državna agencija Transport Canada izrazila je zadovoljstvo zbog činjenice da brod više ne predstavlja opasnost za naftne platforme na moru, kao ni za ljude ili prirodnu sredinu u kanadskim vodama, tako da vlasti nisu ni pokušavale locirati "Orlovu".

Pojedini stručnjaci su, međutim, ipak procijenili da opasnost postoji, jer može doći do slučajnog ispuštanja toksične tekućine i otpadanja dijelova koji ne mogu istruliti, što ozbiljno može ugroziti prirodnu sredinu.

Irski mediji su 1. ožujka 2013. godine priopćili da su uhvaćeni signali radiobove, što se događa samo kada brod potone, ali potraga za brodom nije urodila plodom.

Šef irske obalske straže Chris Reynolds upozorio je da se na brodu mogu nalaziti stotine štakora. Tim povodom je žuti tisak podigao prašinu pričama da bi se brod prepun štakora-ljudoždera mogao nasukati na obalama Irske.

Ni danas se ne zna što je bilo s "Orlovom". Vjerojatno je već potonula negde u Atlantskom oceanu. Doduše, s obzirom na to da je brod nekada bio dobro opremljen, ipak postoje izvjesne šanse da još uvijek pluta u vodama oceana.

Stoljećima su ljudi ispredali legende o tajanstvenim brodovima koji bez posade plutaju na otvorenom moru. Ponekad takvi napušteni brodovi bez signala upozorenja predstavljaju opasnost za druga plovila. I pored svih dostignuća suvremene tehnike i sustava navigacije, takvih slučajeva ima i danas.

Portal Vintage News objavio je tekst o jednom takvom plovilu, ruskom brodu "Ljubov Orlova".

Napravljen je sada već davne 1976. godine u Hrvatskoj koja je tada bila u sastavu Jugoslavije. Izgrađen je u brodogradilištu Kraljevica (gdje je početkom 20. stoljeća radio Josip Broz Tito – op. ur.), a zatim je isporučen Sovjetskom Savezu. Dobio je ime u čast čuvene sovjetske glumice, prenosi Ruski vijesnik. 

Brod je 1999. renoviran i od tada se koristio za krstarenja i ekspedicije na Antarktiku. Kasnije su vlasnici zapali u dugove, pa su "Orlovu" zaplijenile kanadske vlasti u Newfoundlandu. Kako piše The Independent, trebao je biti prodan u staro željezo u Dominikanskoj Republici za 800 000 eura.

U siječnju 2013. godine, dok je brod plovio na konačno odredište iz kanadske luke St. John’s, počeo je puhati jak vjetar tijekom kojeg je puklo čelično uže za šlepanje, pa su valovi odnijeli brod u stranu. Pokušaji da se "Orlova" ponovo zakači za tegljač nisu urodili plodom, tako da od 24. siječnja 2013. brod pluta oceanom.

Kanadska državna agencija Transport Canada izrazila je zadovoljstvo zbog činjenice da brod više ne predstavlja opasnost za naftne platforme na moru, kao ni za ljude ili prirodnu sredinu u kanadskim vodama, tako da vlasti nisu ni pokušavale locirati "Orlovu".

Pojedini stručnjaci su, međutim, ipak procijenili da opasnost postoji, jer može doći do slučajnog ispuštanja toksične tekućine i otpadanja dijelova koji ne mogu istruliti, što ozbiljno može ugroziti prirodnu sredinu.

Irski mediji su 1. ožujka 2013. godine priopćili da su uhvaćeni signali radiobove, što se događa samo kada brod potone, ali potraga za brodom nije urodila plodom.

Šef irske obalske straže Chris Reynolds upozorio je da se na brodu mogu nalaziti stotine štakora. Tim povodom je žuti tisak podigao prašinu pričama da bi se brod prepun štakora-ljudoždera mogao nasukati na obalama Irske.

Ni danas se ne zna što je bilo s "Orlovom". Vjerojatno je već potonula negde u Atlantskom oceanu. Doduše, s obzirom na to da je brod nekada bio dobro opremljen, ipak postoje izvjesne šanse da još uvijek pluta u vodama oceana.

Tajna Orlove, ruskog ‘ukletog‘ broda izgrađenog u Hrvatskoj: možda i dalje bez posade plovi morima, a nastanjuju ga stotine štakora

Stoljećima su ljudi ispredali legende o tajanstvenim brodovima koji bez posade plutaju na otvorenom moru. Ponekad takvi napušteni brodovi bez signala upozorenja predstavljaju opasnost za druga plovila. I pored svih dostignuća suvremene tehnike i sustava navigacije, takvih slučajeva ima i danas.

Portal Vintage News objavio je tekst o jednom takvom plovilu, ruskom brodu "Ljubov Orlova".

Napravljen je sada već davne 1976. godine u Hrvatskoj koja je tada bila u sastavu Jugoslavije. Izgrađen je u brodogradilištu Kraljevica (gdje je početkom 20. stoljeća radio Josip Broz Tito – op. ur.), a zatim je isporučen Sovjetskom Savezu. Dobio je ime u čast čuvene sovjetske glumice, prenosi Ruski vijesnik. 

Brod je 1999. renoviran i od tada se koristio za krstarenja i ekspedicije na Antark...
