Sve više istraživanja potvrđuje mišljenje da su snovi alat za obradu informacija prikupljenih tijekom dana. Sve više istraživanja potvrđuje mišljenje da su snovi alat za obradu informacija prikupljenih tijekom dana. "Noću mozak metaforički guta, probavlja i oslobađa informacije, baš kao što crijeva čine s hranom", objašnjava klinički psiholog Rubin Nyman, koji se specijalizirao za medicinu integrativnog spavanja i sanjanja na Sveučilištu u Arizoni, piše National Geographic.rs.

"Ono što mozak pohranjuje postaje dio onoga što jesmo", ali mnogo toga o snovima ostaje nepoznato. Evo nekoliko činjenica do kojih je znanost dosad uspjela doći.

Stalno sanjamo

Vjerojatno ste čuli od nekoga da se snovi događaju samo tijekom REM faze spavanja. Međutim, mi stalno sanjamo, kaže Nyman.

Doduše, više smo fokusirani na spavanje tijekom REM faze, ali to što u ostalim fazama san "ne vidite" ne znači da ga nema.

Kako noć odmiče, razdoblja REM faze sna se produžuju, pa se većina snova dogodi u zadnjoj trećini razdoblja sna, prenose Vijesti.

Kukci i ribe nemaju REM fazu

Iako se neki snovi javljaju izvan REM faze, identificiranje "brzog pokreta očiju", kako se ta faza još naziva, kod drugih je vrsta vrlo teško. Međutim, poznato je da svi sisavci i gmazovi, kao i neke ptice, imaju REM fazu, pa to znači da vjerojatno sanjaju.

Trauma koju doživite kada vas probudi alarm može dovesti do toga da zaboravite san koji vam je donedavno bio "pred očima".

Najbolji način da se sjetite što ste sanjali je da si dopustite da se polako probudite. Samo se nemojte previše truditi sjetiti se sna, "jer što ga više jurite, lakše će pobjeći", kaže Nyman.

Ljudi koji pamte snove imaju drugačiju moždanu aktivnost

Studija iz 2014. otkrila je više spontane aktivnosti u određenim područjima mozga kod ljudi koji se redovito sjećaju svojih snova, u usporedbi s ljudima koji to ne čine.

Razlike nisu postojale samo tijekom spavanja, već i u budnom stanju ispitanika.

Prethodna istraživanja pokazala su da ljudi koji se sjećaju snova također bolje reagiraju na zvukove tijekom spavanja (i budnog stanja) od ljudi koji se ne sjećaju snova.

Vaše tijelo reagira na snove na isti način kao i u budnom životu

Nekako je čudno kada se probudiš ljut na nekoga zbog nečega što je učinio u tvom snu. Međutim, biološki, ima smisla da vaši osjećaji ostanu s vama čak i kada otvorite oči, kaže Nyman.

Na primjer, može se dogoditi da vam poraste krvni tlak ili otkucaji srca, baš kao u stresnom scenariju onoga što se događa na Javi.

Sanjamo u stvarnom vremenu

Unatoč mitu da snovi traju samo nekoliko djelića sekunde, u stvarnosti oni traju od 20 do čak 60 minuta, kaže Nyman.

Noćne more nisu uvijek povezane sa strahovima

Noćne more su zastrašujuće, ali strah nije jedina stvar koja ih pokreće. Studija na 331 osobi otkrila je da loši snovi također mogu uzrokovati osjećaje tjeskobe, zbunjenosti, tuge i krivnje.

Istraživanje je pokazalo i da muškarci češće imaju noćne more vezane uz fizičku agresiju i nasilje, dok su žene usredotočene na sukobe s drugim ljudima.

Vaši snovi nisu čudni ako ih tako ne doživljavate

"Kad sanjate, koliko god to ‘čudno‘ bilo, vjerojatno se ne osjećate tako. Tek kad se probudite, san vam je čudan", kaže Nyman. Uspoređivati ​​"čudan" san sa stvarnošću je kao uspoređivati ​​različite prehrambene navike u dvije potpuno različite kulture, kaže, piše National Geographic.rs.

Sve više istraživanja potvrđuje mišljenje da su snovi alat za obradu informacija prikupljenih tijekom dana.
