U suradnji Parka prirode Lastovsko otočje i Hrvatskog astronomskog saveza proteklog tjedna na Lastovu je održan petodnevni tečaj astronomije za odrasle. Tečaj je vodio glavni tajnik astronomskog saveza Dorian Božičević.

Kroz predavanja obrađene su teme o astrognoziji, Sunčevom sustavu, optičkim teleskopima i montažama, Suncu te o nastanku i životu zvijezda, a organizirana su i promatranja te praktični rad s teleskopima.

Na tečaju je sudjelovalo petnaest polaznika od kojih čak dvoje koji su radi tečaja na Lastovo došli iz Splita što je dokaz da razvojem astroturizma i ponudom kvalitetnih sadržaja, Lastovo može privući goste čak i u prosincu.

Osim vođenja tečaja astronomije, glavni tajnik astronomskog saveza sastao se s načelnicom Općine Lastovo Anitom Jančić Lešić vezano za popis javne rasvjete i donošenje plana rasvjete sukladno Zakonu o zaštiti od svjetlosnog onečišćenja, s direktoricom Turističke zajednice Općine Lastovo Dianom Magdić vezano za astronomski program za iduću godinu te s direktorom Parka prirode Lastovsko otočje Mirom Maričevićem i suradnicima vezano za uvođenje astronomskih sadržaja u program parka prirode.

Glavni tajnik je tijekom boravka na Lastovu obavio i mjerenja kvalitete noćnog neba koja su potrebna kako bi se Lastovsko otočje uspješno kandidiralo za status Međunarodni park tamnog neba kod Međunarodne organizacije za zaštitu noćnog neba (Dark Sky International).

U suradnji Parka prirode Lastovsko otočje i Hrvatskog astronomskog saveza proteklog tjedna na Lastovu je održan petodnevni tečaj astronomije za odrasle. Tečaj je vodio glavni tajnik astronomskog saveza Dorian Božičević.

Kroz predavanja obrađene su teme o astrognoziji, Sunčevom sustavu, optičkim teleskopima i montažama, Suncu te o nastanku i životu zvijezda, a organizirana su i promatranja te praktični rad s teleskopima.

Na tečaju je sudjelovalo petnaest polaznika od kojih čak dvoje koji su radi tečaja na Lastovo došli iz Splita što je dokaz da razvojem astroturizma i ponudom kvalitetnih sadržaja, Lastovo može privući goste čak i u prosincu.

Osim vođenja tečaja astronomije, glavni tajnik astronomskog saveza sastao se s načelnicom Općine Lastovo Anitom Jančić Lešić vezano za popis javne rasvjete i donošenje plana rasvjete sukladno Zakonu o zaštiti od svjetlosnog onečišćenja, s direktoricom Turističke zajednice Općine Lastovo Dianom Magdić vezano za astronomski program za iduću godinu te s direktorom Parka prirode Lastovsko otočje Mirom Maričevićem i suradnicima vezano za uvođenje astronomskih sadržaja u program parka prirode.

Glavni tajnik je tijekom boravka na Lastovu obavio i mjerenja kvalitete noćnog neba koja su potrebna kako bi se Lastovsko otočje uspješno kandidiralo za status Međunarodni park tamnog neba kod Međunarodne organizacije za zaštitu noćnog neba (Dark Sky International).
