Tlak u arterijama može se povisiti na više načina. Prva je mogućnost da srce pumpa krv većom snagom izbacujući pri tome veću količinu krvi. Druga mogućnost povišenja tlaka je stanje u kojem su velike arterije zbog ateroskleroze (taloženja plaka na stijenkama) sužene te se ne mogu dovoljno širiti kada srce izbacuje krv.

Tada se pri svakom srčanom otkucaju krv probija većom snagom kroz manje prostora pa tlak raste. To se najčešće događa kod osoba starijih od 50 godina. Treći način nastanka visokog krvnog tlaka je povećanje ukupne tekućine u krvotoku, primjerice kod bolesti bubrega, piše živim.hr.

Bolesni bubrezi, naime, ne mogu izlučiti dovoljnu količinu soli i tekućine iz tijela, što povećava volumen krvi u tijelu, a to pak izaziva porast krvnog tlaka. Simpatički živčani sustav, koji je dio autonomnog živčanog sustava, privremeno podiže krvni tlak povećavajući i snagu i brzinu srčanih otkucaja ako organizmu prijeti neka opasnost, što je obrambena reakcija tijela.

Također otpušta hormone adrenalin i noradrenalin koji stimuliraju srce i krvne žile. Kod 90 posto ljudi koji imaju hipertenziju uzrok je nepoznat (primarna hipertenzija), a pretpostavlja se da mnoge promjene na srcu i krvožilnom sustavu pridonose povećanju krvnog tlaka.

U pet do deset posto oboljelih od hipertenzije uzrok su bubrežne bolesti, u jedan do dva posto hormonska neravnoteža. Moguće je i da se radi o uzimanju nekih lijekova kao što su oralni kontraceptivi, a moguće je i da se, iako dosta rijetko, radi o tumoru nadbubrežne žlijezde. Debljina, fizička neaktivnost, stres, prekomjerno pijenje alkohola, pretjerana upotreba soli u prehrani, ali i previše slatke i prerađene hrane značajan su rizik za razvoj hipertenzije kod ljudi koji imaju naslijeđenu sklonost

Kako prepoznati hipertenziju?

Visoki tlak najčešće nema simptoma, iako se pogrešno vjeruje da ga prate glavobolja, vrtoglavica, iskrenje pred očima, a te simptome ponekad osjećaju i oni koji imaju uredan tlak. Ako se osoba ne liječi, a ima izrazito visok krvni tlak dulje vrijeme, mogu se javiti glavobolja, umor, mučnina, povraćanje, nedostatak zraka i omaglica, no to su već znakovi oštećenja mozga, očiju, srca i bubrega. Jedini objektivan način za utvrđivanje povišenog krvnog tlaka je mjerenje arterijskog tlaka tlakomjerom na nadlaktici. Mjerenje na zapešću može pokazati pravilnu vrijednost, ali i ne mora.

Za postavljanje dijagnoze potrebno je nekoliko mjerenja tlaka, uključujući i 24-satno mjerenje holterom tlaka, osobito kada oboljeli kaže da je pri kućnom mjerenju tlak bio normalan. Krvni tlak mjeri se nakon što je osoba sjedila ili ležala pet minuta. Vrijednosti tlaka od 140/90 mmHg ili više smatraju se povišenima, ali dijagnoza se ne smije postaviti samo na temelju jednog mjerenja.

Katkad niti više mjerenja nije dovoljno da bi se postavila dijagnoza hipertenzije. Ako početno mjerenje pokazuje visoke vrijednosti krvnog tlaka, mjerenje treba ponoviti isti dan, a zatim dvaput dnevno u iduća dva dana kako bi se sigurno utvrdilo da je krvni tlak trajno povišen.

Očitane vrijednosti ne samo da potvrđuju postojanje visokog krvnog tlaka nego pomoću njih treba odrediti i stupanj hipertenzije (klasifikacija krvnog tlaka). Liječnik treba uvijek tragati za uzrokom visokog krvnog tlaka, posebno u mlađih ljudi, premda se takav uzrok pronađe u manje od deset posto ljudi s povišenim krvnim tlakom.

Što su vrijednosti krvnog tlaka više, a bolesnik mlađi, to upornije i opsežnije treba tragati za vjerojatnim uzrokom visokog tlaka. Dijagnostička obrada uključuje rendgensko i radionuklidno ispitivanje bubrega, rendgensku sliku srca i pluća te testove krvi i mokraće na prisutnost određenih hormona.

Tlak u arterijama može se povisiti na više načina. Prva je mogućnost da srce pumpa krv većom snagom izbacujući pri tome veću količinu krvi. Druga mogućnost povišenja tlaka je stanje u kojem su velike arterije zbog ateroskleroze (taloženja plaka na stijenkama) sužene te se ne mogu dovoljno širiti kada srce izbacuje krv.

Tada se pri svakom srčanom otkucaju krv probija većom snagom kroz manje prostora pa tlak raste. To se najčešće događa kod osoba starijih od 50 godina. Treći način nastanka visokog krvnog tlaka je povećanje ukupne tekućine u krvotoku, primjerice kod bolesti bubrega, piše živim.hr.

Bolesni bubrezi, naime, ne mogu izlučiti dovoljnu količinu soli i tekućine iz tijela, što povećava volumen krvi u tijelu, a to pak izaziva porast krvnog tlaka. Simpatički živčani sustav, koji je dio autonomnog živčanog sustava, privremeno podiže krvni tlak povećavajući i snagu i brzinu srčanih otkucaja ako organizmu prijeti neka opasnost, što je obrambena reakcija tijela.

Također otpušta hormone adrenalin i noradrenalin koji stimuliraju srce i krvne žile. Kod 90 posto ljudi koji imaju hipertenziju uzrok je nepoznat (primarna hipertenzija), a pretpostavlja se da mnoge promjene na srcu i krvožilnom sustavu pridonose povećanju krvnog tlaka.

U pet do deset posto oboljelih od hipertenzije uzrok su bubrežne bolesti, u jedan do dva posto hormonska neravnoteža. Moguće je i da se radi o uzimanju nekih lijekova kao što su oralni kontraceptivi, a moguće je i da se, iako dosta rijetko, radi o tumoru nadbubrežne žlijezde. Debljina, fizička neaktivnost, stres, prekomjerno pijenje alkohola, pretjerana upotreba soli u prehrani, ali i previše slatke i prerađene hrane značajan su rizik za razvoj hipertenzije kod ljudi koji imaju naslijeđenu sklonost

Kako prepoznati hipertenziju?

Visoki tlak najčešće nema simptoma, iako se pogrešno vjeruje da ga prate glavobolja, vrtoglavica, iskrenje pred očima, a te simptome ponekad osjećaju i oni koji imaju uredan tlak. Ako se osoba ne liječi, a ima izrazito visok krvni tlak dulje vrijeme, mogu se javiti glavobolja, umor, mučnina, povraćanje, nedostatak zraka i omaglica, no to su već znakovi oštećenja mozga, očiju, srca i bubrega. Jedini objektivan način za utvrđivanje povišenog krvnog tlaka je mjerenje arterijskog tlaka tlakomjerom na nadlaktici. Mjerenje na zapešću može pokazati pravilnu vrijednost, ali i ne mora.

Za postavljanje dijagnoze potrebno je nekoliko mjerenja tlaka, uključujući i 24-satno mjerenje holterom tlaka, osobito kada oboljeli kaže da je pri kućnom mjerenju tlak bio normalan. Krvni tlak mjeri se nakon što je osoba sjedila ili ležala pet minuta. Vrijednosti tlaka od 140/90 mmHg ili više smatraju se povišenima, ali dijagnoza se ne smije postaviti samo na temelju jednog mjerenja.

Katkad niti više mjerenja nije dovoljno da bi se postavila dijagnoza hipertenzije. Ako početno mjerenje pokazuje visoke vrijednosti krvnog tlaka, mjerenje treba ponoviti isti dan, a zatim dvaput dnevno u iduća dva dana kako bi se sigurno utvrdilo da je krvni tlak trajno povišen.

Očitane vrijednosti ne samo da potvrđuju postojanje visokog krvnog tlaka nego pomoću njih treba odrediti i stupanj hipertenzije (klasifikacija krvnog tlaka). Liječnik treba uvijek tragati za uzrokom visokog krvnog tlaka, posebno u mlađih ljudi, premda se takav uzrok pronađe u manje od deset posto ljudi s povišenim krvnim tlakom.

Što su vrijednosti krvnog tlaka više, a bolesnik mlađi, to upornije i opsežnije treba tragati za vjerojatnim uzrokom visokog tlaka. Dijagnostička obrada uključuje rendgensko i radionuklidno ispitivanje bubrega, rendgensku sliku srca i pluća te testove krvi i mokraće na prisutnost određenih hormona.

Tlak u arterijama može se povisiti na više načina. Prva je mogućnost da srce pumpa krv većom snagom izbacujući pri tome veću količinu krvi. Druga mogućnost povišenja tlaka je stanje u kojem su velike arterije zbog ateroskleroze (taloženja plaka na stijenkama) sužene te se ne mogu dovoljno širiti kada srce izbacuje krv.

Tada se pri svakom srčanom otkucaju krv probija većom snagom kroz manje prostora pa tlak raste. To se najčešće događa kod osoba starijih od 50 godina. Treći način nastanka visokog krvnog tlaka je povećanje ukupne tekućine u krvotoku, primjerice kod bolesti bubrega, piše živim.hr.

Bolesni bubrezi, naime, ne mogu izlučiti dovoljnu količinu soli i tekućine iz tijela, što povećava volumen krvi u tijelu, a to pak izaziva porast krvnog tlaka. Simpatički ...
