Danas ni ručnicima nije lak 'život'. Tvrda voda, trenje uzrokovano vrtnjom u perilici pa u sušilici…a da ne spominjemo svakodnevnu izloženost masnoći i prljavštini na površini tijela koja brišu. Čak i najskuplji i najpahuljastiji ručnici za nekoliko mjeseci i nakon nekoliko pranja postat će kruti i grubi na dodir. Evo nekoliko savjeta kako da omekšate i najgrublji ručnik ili, pak, kako da zadržite mekoću ručnika koji ste tek kupili.
Smanjite količinu deterdženta
Ručnici mogu biti kruti zbog toga što se na njima s vremenom talože naslage sapunaste tekućine. Budete li smanjili količinu deterdženta koji koristite za pranje, ciklus za ispiranje vaše perilice rublja lakše će isprati i najmanji trag sapunice s ručnika.
Perite ih u toploj vodi
Najbolje je ručnike prati u vodi temperature jednake temperaturi tijela jer takva voda bolje apsorbira deterdžent te na ručniku ostaje manje naslaga sapunice. Možete pokušati još jedan trik: da ručnike stavite u perilicu tek kad se deterdžent rastopi u vodi. Stavite deterdžent u pretinac, uključite ciklus pranja koji želite i pričekajte dvije do tri minute prije nego što u perilicu ubacite ručnike.
Omekšivač zamijenite vinskim octom
Omekšivači rublja sadrže silikon koji ručnike čini vodootpornim, odnosno daje im svojstvo da 'odbijaju' vodu. Tako nikada neće biti dobro oprani. Radije ručnike omekšajte tako da ih svakih šest tjedana operete u vodi u koju ste dodali šalicu bijelog octa. To će ukloniti ostatke sapunice koja ručnike čini grubim na dodir i vratiti im prvobitnu mekoću i veću sposobnost upijanja.
Isprobajte sodu bikarbonu
Soda bikarbona će pomoći u omekšavanju vlakana i čišćenju tragova kemikalija ili prljavštine te će tako učiniti ručnike mekšima. Pomiješajte pola šalice sode bikarbone s količinom deterdženta koju koristite: dodatni plus ove metode je to što soda bikarbona uklanja neugodne mirise plijesni i vlage koji nastaju ako, primjerice, ručnici dugo stoje mokri u perilici ili u lavoru u kupaoni ili možda u vašoj torbi za fitness.
Nemojte pretrpavati perilicu
Nemojte u perilicu stavljati previše ručnika odjednom. Otežat ćete rad perilici, a neće biti niti dovoljno prostora da se dobro isperu sapunica i prljavština sa svih ručnika. Isto vrijedi i za sušilicu: pretrpate li je, neće biti dovoljno prostora da zrak ravnomjerno posuši ručnike i učini ih mekim i paperjastim. Za perilice standardne veličine držite se pravila da odjednom ne stavljate više od tri velika ručnika te jedan ili dva mala.
Ubacite u perilicu tenisku lopticu
Vjerovali ili ne, to je vrlo jednostavan trik koji će pomoći da se s ručnika uklone čvorići i naslage te da oni ponovo postanu mekani.
Malo lakše sa sušilicom
Sušenje u sušilici možda može ručnike učiniti mekšim, ali vrući zrak u sušilici može oštetiti pamučna vlakna od kojih su ručnici sačinjeni, jednako kao i snažna vrtnja. Zato uključite sušilicu na manji broj okretaja te izmjenjujte sušenje zrakom i sušenje centrifugiranjem. Možete i djelomično osušiti ručnike na štriku, a zatim dovršiti sušenje u sušilici. Sušite li ručnike na štriku, nakon sušenja ih dobro protresite kako bi se vlakna razdvojila, a ručnici bili mekši.

Danas ni ručnicima nije lak 'život'. Tvrda voda, trenje uzrokovano vrtnjom u perilici pa u sušilici…a da ne spominjemo svakodnevnu izloženost masnoći i prljavštini na površini tijela koja brišu. Čak i najskuplji i najpahuljastiji ručnici za nekoliko mjeseci i nakon nekoliko pranja postat će kruti i grubi na dodir. Evo nekoliko savjeta kako da omekšate i najgrublji ručnik ili, pak, kako da zadržite mekoću ručnika koji ste tek kupili.
Smanjite količinu deterdženta
Ručnici mogu biti kruti zbog toga što se na njima s vremenom talože naslage sapunaste tekućine. Budete li smanjili količinu deterdženta koji koristite za pranje, ciklus za ispiranje vaše perilice rublja lakše će isprati i najmanji trag sapunice s ručnika.
Perite ih u toploj vodi
Najbolje je ručnike prati u vodi temperature jednake temperaturi tijela jer takva voda bolje apsorbira deterdžent te na ručniku ostaje manje naslaga sapunice. Možete pokušati još jedan trik: da ručnike stavite u perilicu tek kad se deterdžent rastopi u vodi. Stavite deterdžent u pretinac, uključite ciklus pranja koji želite i pričekajte dvije do tri minute prije nego što u perilicu ubacite ručnike.
Omekšivač zamijenite vinskim octom
Omekšivači rublja sadrže silikon koji ručnike čini vodootpornim, odnosno daje im svojstvo da 'odbijaju' vodu. Tako nikada neće biti dobro oprani. Radije ručnike omekšajte tako da ih svakih šest tjedana operete u vodi u koju ste dodali šalicu bijelog octa. To će ukloniti ostatke sapunice koja ručnike čini grubim na dodir i vratiti im prvobitnu mekoću i veću sposobnost upijanja.
Isprobajte sodu bikarbonu
Soda bikarbona će pomoći u omekšavanju vlakana i čišćenju tragova kemikalija ili prljavštine te će tako učiniti ručnike mekšima. Pomiješajte pola šalice sode bikarbone s količinom deterdženta koju koristite: dodatni plus ove metode je to što soda bikarbona uklanja neugodne mirise plijesni i vlage koji nastaju ako, primjerice, ručnici dugo stoje mokri u perilici ili u lavoru u kupaoni ili možda u vašoj torbi za fitness.
Nemojte pretrpavati perilicu
Nemojte u perilicu stavljati previše ručnika odjednom. Otežat ćete rad perilici, a neće biti niti dovoljno prostora da se dobro isperu sapunica i prljavština sa svih ručnika. Isto vrijedi i za sušilicu: pretrpate li je, neće biti dovoljno prostora da zrak ravnomjerno posuši ručnike i učini ih mekim i paperjastim. Za perilice standardne veličine držite se pravila da odjednom ne stavljate više od tri velika ručnika te jedan ili dva mala.
Ubacite u perilicu tenisku lopticu
Vjerovali ili ne, to je vrlo jednostavan trik koji će pomoći da se s ručnika uklone čvorići i naslage te da oni ponovo postanu mekani.
Malo lakše sa sušilicom
Sušenje u sušilici možda može ručnike učiniti mekšim, ali vrući zrak u sušilici može oštetiti pamučna vlakna od kojih su ručnici sačinjeni, jednako kao i snažna vrtnja. Zato uključite sušilicu na manji broj okretaja te izmjenjujte sušenje zrakom i sušenje centrifugiranjem. Možete i djelomično osušiti ručnike na štriku, a zatim dovršiti sušenje u sušilici. Sušite li ručnike na štriku, nakon sušenja ih dobro protresite kako bi se vlakna razdvojila, a ručnici bili mekši.
