Kad se netko pred vama spotakne ili oklizne, pa padne koliko je dug i širok, normalno je prignuti se, pružiti mu ruku i pomoći mu da ustane, zar ne? To ne rade samo dobri ljudi, nego i oni loši. Samo manjina najgorih ignorirat će nesretnika i produžiti dalje.

Ne radi se o pitanju racionalnog izbora. Naše pružanje ruke refleksna je, nagonska reakcija.

Njoj ne prethodi ni mozganje ni zauzimanje stava o zdravstvenoj koristi ili etičkoj ispravnosti toga čina. Naprosto, djelujemo kao solidarna bića i to je ono što nas čini ljudima. Pardon, to je ono što nas je činilo ljudima.

Jer, ako je do prije nekoliko godina pružanje ruke unesrećenome bilo očekivana, raširena i skoro pa neizbježna gesta, danas više nije.

Umjesto da pokuša pomoći čovjeku u nevolji, većina će učiniti nešto drugo: munjevito posegnuti za mobitelom i okinuti snimak da bi za virtualnu vječnost dokumentirali događaj, u trenutku dok još nije jasno je li on bezazlen ili se radi o tragičnom incidentu koji će za sobom vući duge, možda čak i trajne posljedice.

Obijesni i alkoholom 'namočeni

Idemo dalje. Ako vam obijesna i alkoholom lijepo namočena mladež iz bijeloga svijeta reve i piša pod prozorima - što se ljeti u Dalmaciji redovito događa već desetljećima, a ne samo u zadnjih nekoliko sezona - pred vama stoje dvije mogućnosti: pitomi legalist ne osobito impresivna stasa pozvat će policiju i zamoliti je da ureduje; osoba s volumenom vaterpoliste i nešto prčevitijom naravi spustit će se na ulicu i uredovati osobno, trenutačno i puno učinkovitije od MUP-ovaca koji se, za razliku od običnih građana, moraju pridržavati strogih pravila službe.

Tako je barem bilo donedavno. Ali više nije.

Đentilasti građani posežu za mobitelom ne zato da bi dobili dežurnog policajca, nego da bi okinuli snimak koji će potom raširiti društvenim mrežama, a prčeviti vaterpolisti su, izgleda, izumrli.

Umjesto da osobno ili uz pomoć policije pišače otjeraju, građanima je danas draže kukati po svemrežju i raspirivati moralnu paniku, od jednog ili dva žuta mlaza praviti cijeli vodopad mokraće, i onda se gorko upitati: kamo ide ovaj svijet?

Ako vas zanima moje mišljenje, nikamo ne ide, naime, već je otišao.

I to ne onoga trenutka kad je neki Hans ili Harry izvadio svoga miška da bi odlilo litar-dva polokanog piva, nego kad je kvartovski inspektor taj trenutak zamrznuo u piksele, plasirao na Facebook, odakle su ga preuzeli tobože ozbiljni mediji.

Godine 1974. na jednom je treningu Hajduka Ivan Buljan nes(p)retno uklizao i polomio nogu svom suigraču i kumu Ivici Matkoviću. Dogodilo se to puno prije ere pametnih telefona, u epohi glupih fotoaparata koje nije imao baš svatko.

No, da je toga kobnog jutra ispred ove dvojice igrača bilo isukano deset ili dvadeset objektiva, siguran sam da nikome ne bi palo na pamet snimiti jednu slomljenu nogu i dva uplakana muškarca.

Slabovidni i slaboumni

Buljan se tada zarekao da neće obrijati bradu sve dok njegov prijatelj opet ne zaigra. I bogami, lijepo je zarastao. Dok se Matković oporavio, Iko je uzgojio toliko dlaka da se njima mogao ispuniti oveći kušin.

Vodostaj Buljanove pokore mediji su uredno pratili. I danas pamtim turobno lice igrača zaklonjeno gustom makijom brade. Nitko se nije utrkivao snimiti Matkovićev gips. Njega su novinari pustili da na miru, dostojanstveno preboli svoju muku i vrati se na teren.

U to davno doba nikome nije trebalo crtati da je pravi, legitimni motiv snimanja Buljanova brada, a ne Matkovićeva noga. Samo, jebi ga, nekoć je snimanje bilo zanat školovanih ili barem pristojno obučenih profesionalaca, a danas se time bavi tko hoće, dakle, doslovce svi, među ostalima, i slabovidni, i slaboumni.

Mi samo mislimo da pametnim telefonima snimamo svijet ispred nas. Oni su ustvari zrcala koja pokazuju sliku nas samih. Kad fotografiramo ljude koji su se srušili na ulici ili pijane klince koji zapišavaju kantune, mi ne otkrivamo ništa o našemu vremenu i svijetu.

Jer, neki su ljudi oduvijek padali, a neki pišali u javnosti.

Birajući takve motive, mi otkrivamo samo istinu o sebi, o vlastitome voajerizmu, o potrebi da prisvajamo tuđu intimu, o svojoj invazivnoj žudnji da se uplićemo u tuđe živote, a ne da se bavimo svojim.

Kad se netko pred vama spotakne ili oklizne, pa padne koliko je dug i širok, normalno je prignuti se, pružiti mu ruku i pomoći mu da ustane, zar ne? To ne rade samo dobri ljudi, nego i oni loši. Samo manjina najgorih ignorirat će nesretnika i produžiti dalje.

Ne radi se o pitanju racionalnog izbora. Naše pružanje ruke refleksna je, nagonska reakcija.

Njoj ne prethodi ni mozganje ni zauzimanje stava o zdravstvenoj koristi ili etičkoj ispravnosti toga čina. Naprosto, djelujemo kao solidarna bića i to je ono što nas čini ljudima. Pardon, to je ono što nas je činilo ljudima.

Jer, ako je do prije nekoliko godina pružanje ruke unesrećenome bilo očekivana, raširena i skoro pa neizbježna gesta, danas više nije.

Umjesto da pokuša pomoći čovjeku u nevolji, većina će učiniti nešto drugo: munjevito posegnuti za mobitelom i okinuti snimak da bi za virtualnu vječnost dokumentirali događaj, u trenutku dok još nije jasno je li on bezazlen ili se radi o tragičnom incidentu koji će za sobom vući duge, možda čak i trajne posljedice.

Obijesni i alkoholom 'namočeni

Idemo dalje. Ako vam obijesna i alkoholom lijepo namočena mladež iz bijeloga svijeta reve i piša pod prozorima - što se ljeti u Dalmaciji redovito događa već desetljećima, a ne samo u zadnjih nekoliko sezona - pred vama stoje dvije mogućnosti: pitomi legalist ne osobito impresivna stasa pozvat će policiju i zamoliti je da ureduje; osoba s volumenom vaterpoliste i nešto prčevitijom naravi spustit će se na ulicu i uredovati osobno, trenutačno i puno učinkovitije od MUP-ovaca koji se, za razliku od običnih građana, moraju pridržavati strogih pravila službe.

Tako je barem bilo donedavno. Ali više nije.

Đentilasti građani posežu za mobitelom ne zato da bi dobili dežurnog policajca, nego da bi okinuli snimak koji će potom raširiti društvenim mrežama, a prčeviti vaterpolisti su, izgleda, izumrli.

Umjesto da osobno ili uz pomoć policije pišače otjeraju, građanima je danas draže kukati po svemrežju i raspirivati moralnu paniku, od jednog ili dva žuta mlaza praviti cijeli vodopad mokraće, i onda se gorko upitati: kamo ide ovaj svijet?

Ako vas zanima moje mišljenje, nikamo ne ide, naime, već je otišao.

I to ne onoga trenutka kad je neki Hans ili Harry izvadio svoga miška da bi odlilo litar-dva polokanog piva, nego kad je kvartovski inspektor taj trenutak zamrznuo u piksele, plasirao na Facebook, odakle su ga preuzeli tobože ozbiljni mediji.

Godine 1974. na jednom je treningu Hajduka Ivan Buljan nes(p)retno uklizao i polomio nogu svom suigraču i kumu Ivici Matkoviću. Dogodilo se to puno prije ere pametnih telefona, u epohi glupih fotoaparata koje nije imao baš svatko.

No, da je toga kobnog jutra ispred ove dvojice igrača bilo isukano deset ili dvadeset objektiva, siguran sam da nikome ne bi palo na pamet snimiti jednu slomljenu nogu i dva uplakana muškarca.

Slabovidni i slaboumni

Buljan se tada zarekao da neće obrijati bradu sve dok njegov prijatelj opet ne zaigra. I bogami, lijepo je zarastao. Dok se Matković oporavio, Iko je uzgojio toliko dlaka da se njima mogao ispuniti oveći kušin.

Vodostaj Buljanove pokore mediji su uredno pratili. I danas pamtim turobno lice igrača zaklonjeno gustom makijom brade. Nitko se nije utrkivao snimiti Matkovićev gips. Njega su novinari pustili da na miru, dostojanstveno preboli svoju muku i vrati se na teren.

U to davno doba nikome nije trebalo crtati da je pravi, legitimni motiv snimanja Buljanova brada, a ne Matkovićeva noga. Samo, jebi ga, nekoć je snimanje bilo zanat školovanih ili barem pristojno obučenih profesionalaca, a danas se time bavi tko hoće, dakle, doslovce svi, među ostalima, i slabovidni, i slaboumni.

Mi samo mislimo da pametnim telefonima snimamo svijet ispred nas. Oni su ustvari zrcala koja pokazuju sliku nas samih. Kad fotografiramo ljude koji su se srušili na ulici ili pijane klince koji zapišavaju kantune, mi ne otkrivamo ništa o našemu vremenu i svijetu.

Jer, neki su ljudi oduvijek padali, a neki pišali u javnosti.

Birajući takve motive, mi otkrivamo samo istinu o sebi, o vlastitome voajerizmu, o potrebi da prisvajamo tuđu intimu, o svojoj invazivnoj žudnji da se uplićemo u tuđe živote, a ne da se bavimo svojim.
