Nova objava Billa Gatesa na njegovom blogu GatesNotes, izazvao je veliku pažnju. Naime, milijarder, poslovni čovjek i filantrop, izrazio je zabrinutost da bi umjetna inteligencija (AI) mogla preuzeti svijet. 

U svom postu na blogu Gates je skrenuo pažnju na interakciju koju je imao s umjetnom inteligencijom u rujnu. Napisao je da je, na njegovo iznenađenje, AI dobio najveći mogući rezultat na AP Bio ispitu, piše Jerusalem Post.

Postavio je pitanje "Što reći ocu s bolesnim djetetom?" Zatim je dao odgovor koji je, kako piše Gates, bio bolji od onog koji bi itko u prostoriji mogao dati. Milijarder nije uključio odgovor u svoj post na blogu.

Ova interakcija, rekao je Gates, potaknula je duboko razmišljanje o tome kako će umjetna inteligencija utjecati na industriju i Zakladu Gates u sljedećih 10 godina.

Kao filantrop, Gates se odlučio usredotočiti na to kako bi se AI tehnologija mogla koristiti za smanjenje nejednakosti.

Izjavio je da će AI poboljšati učinkovitost svakodnevnih radnika i sugerirao kako je korisno vidjeti AI kao "digitalnog osobnog asistenta". Priznao je da će stanovništvo morati biti ponovno obučeno kako AI preuzima nove uloge i da će vlade morati biti odgovorne za nadzor toga.

Točnije, Gates je predvidio da će umjetna inteligencija imati snažan utjecaj na smanjenje tereta za skrbnike. Kad bi umjetna inteligencija mogla obavljati zadatke poput "podnošenja zahtjeva za osiguranje, rješavanja papirologije i sastavljanja bilješki s posjeta liječniku", tada bi se više vremena moglo dodijeliti brizi o pacijentima.

Dodajući tome, Gates je primijetio da umjetna inteligencija može imati ogroman utjecaj na siromašnije zemlje u kojima je pristup medicinskim ustanovama ograničen.

AI bi čak mogao značajno doprinijeti medicinskim inovacijama, tvrdi Gates.

Objasnio je da je “količina podataka u biologiji vrlo velika, a ljudima je teško pratiti sve načine na koje složeni biološki sistemi funkcioniraju. Već postoji softver koji može pregledati te podatke, zaključiti koji su putovi, tražiti mete na patogenima i dizajnirati lijekove u skladu s tim."

Predvidio je da će umjetna inteligencija na kraju moći predvidjeti nuspojave i točne doze za pojedinačne pacijente.

U području poljoprivrede, Gates je tvrdi da "AI može pomoći u razvoju boljeg sjemena na temelju lokalnih uvjeta, savjetovati poljoprivrednike o najboljem sjemenu za sadnju na temelju tla i vremenskih prilika u njihovom području, te pomoći u razvoju lijekova i cjepiva za stoku."

Unatoč svim potencijalnim dobrima koje AI može učiniti, Gates je upozorio da može imati negativne učinke na društvo.

“Vlade i filantropija morat će igrati glavnu ulogu u osiguravanju da se nejednakost smanji, a ne pridonese njoj. Ovo je prioritet za moj rad vezan uz umjetnu inteligenciju", napisao je.

Gates je priznao da će umjetna inteligencija vjerojatno biti "toliko razorna da će sigurno izazvati nelagodu kod ljudi" jer "postavlja teška pitanja o radnoj snazi, pravnom sistemu, privatnosti, pristranosti i još mnogo toga".

AI također nije besprijekoran sistem, objasnio je, jer "AI također čini činjenične pogreške i doživljava halucinacije."

Gates je naglasio da postoji "prijetnja koju predstavljaju ljudi naoružani umjetnom inteligencijom" i mogućnost da umjetna inteligencija "odluči da su ljudi prijetnja, zaključi da su njeni interesi drugačiji od naših ili jednostavno prestane mariti za nas?", piše Jerusalem Post.

Nova objava Billa Gatesa na njegovom blogu GatesNotes, izazvao je veliku pažnju. Naime, milijarder, poslovni čovjek i filantrop, izrazio je zabrinutost da bi umjetna inteligencija (AI) mogla preuzeti svijet. 

U svom postu na blogu Gates je skrenuo pažnju na interakciju koju je imao s umjetnom inteligencijom u rujnu. Napisao je da je, na njegovo iznenađenje, AI dobio najveći mogući rezultat na AP Bio ispitu, piše Jerusalem Post.

Postavio je pitanje "Što reći ocu s bolesnim djetetom?" Zatim je dao odgovor koji je, kako piše Gates, bio bolji od onog koji bi itko u prostoriji mogao dati. Milijarder nije uključio odgovor u svoj post na blogu.

Ova interakcija, rekao je Gates, potaknula je duboko razmišljanje o tome kako će umjetna inteligencija utjecati na industriju i Zakladu Gates u sljedećih 10 godina.

Kao filantrop, Gates se odlučio usredotočiti na to kako bi se AI tehnologija mogla koristiti za smanjenje nejednakosti.

Ali postignuća u matematici padaju u cijeloj zemlji, posebno za crne studente, Latinoamerikance i studente s niskim primanjima. AI može pomoći preokrenuti taj trend. AI će poboljšati vaš rad, na primjer tako što će vam pomoći u pisanju e-pošte i upravljanju vašom pristiglom pošti", napisao je Gates na blogu.

Izjavio je da će AI poboljšati učinkovitost svakodnevnih radnika i sugerirao kako je korisno vidjeti AI kao "digitalnog osobnog asistenta". Priznao je da će stanovništvo morati biti ponovno obučeno kako AI preuzima nove uloge i da će vlade morati biti odgovorne za nadzor toga.

Točnije, Gates je predvidio da će umjetna inteligencija imati snažan utjecaj na smanjenje tereta za skrbnike. Kad bi umjetna inteligencija mogla obavljati zadatke poput "podnošenja zahtjeva za osiguranje, rješavanja papirologije i sastavljanja bilješki s posjeta liječniku", tada bi se više vremena moglo dodijeliti brizi o pacijentima.

Dodajući tome, Gates je primijetio da umjetna inteligencija može imati ogroman utjecaj na siromašnije zemlje u kojima je pristup medicinskim ustanovama ograničen.

AI bi čak mogao značajno doprinijeti medicinskim inovacijama, tvrdi Gates.

Objasnio je da je “količina podataka u biologiji vrlo velika, a ljudima je teško pratiti sve načine na koje složeni biološki sistemi funkcioniraju. Već postoji softver koji može pregledati te podatke, zaključiti koji su putovi, tražiti mete na patogenima i dizajnirati lijekove u skladu s tim."

Predvidio je da će umjetna inteligencija na kraju moći predvidjeti nuspojave i točne doze za pojedinačne pacijente.

U području poljoprivrede, Gates je tvrdi da "AI može pomoći u razvoju boljeg sjemena na temelju lokalnih uvjeta, savjetovati poljoprivrednike o najboljem sjemenu za sadnju na temelju tla i vremenskih prilika u njihovom području, te pomoći u razvoju lijekova i cjepiva za stoku."

Unatoč svim potencijalnim dobrima koje AI može učiniti, Gates je upozorio da može imati negativne učinke na društvo.

“Vlade i filantropija morat će igrati glavnu ulogu u osiguravanju da se nejednakost smanji, a ne pridonese njoj. Ovo je prioritet za moj rad vezan uz umjetnu inteligenciju", napisao je.

Gates je priznao da će umjetna inteligencija vjerojatno biti "toliko razorna da će sigurno izazvati nelagodu kod ljudi" jer "postavlja teška pitanja o radnoj snazi, pravnom sistemu, privatnosti, pristranosti i još mnogo toga".

AI također nije besprijekoran sistem, objasnio je, jer "AI također čini činjenične pogreške i doživljava halucinacije."

Gates je naglasio da postoji "prijetnja koju predstavljaju ljudi naoružani umjetnom inteligencijom" i mogućnost da umjetna inteligencija "odluči da su ljudi prijetnja, zaključi da su njeni interesi drugačiji od naših ili jednostavno prestane mariti za nas?", piše Jerusalem Post.
