Božićno i novogodišnje doba osim odmora i druženja nosi sa sobom i - dodatne masne naslage. Tamo gdje smo ionako najdeblji. Jao.

Povezanost između prejedanja, debljine i ovisnosti dokazana je već krajem 1990-ih godina. Kompulzivno korištenje hrane, tzv. binge, potiče žudnju, ali potom i poricanje, zabrinutost, ponovno povećanu konzumaciju.

Nažalost, kod mnogih se nakon prekomjerne konzumacije i prejedanja, javlja i osjećaj krivnje, što može biti rani put u poremećaje prehrane.

No, ne utječe sva hrana jednako na objektivne signale prejedanja. Opće je poznato da je hrana koja se ponajviše običava jesti u razdobljima prekomjernog uživanja, hrana s obilježjima: slatko, masno, slano, a mnogi se vole opustiti i uz čašicu alkoholnog pića.

Uz masnu hranu, upravo i ponajviše je prekomjeran unos šećera povezan s kompulzivnim jedenjem i prejedanjem. Okus šećera jedan je od najosnovnijih osjetilnih percepcija, i za ljude i ostale sisavce.

Prehrambeni unos, a potom probavljanje hrane koja obiluje šećerima, a onda i solju te mastima, utječe na sustav neurotransmitera, izazivajući začarani krug ponovne žudnje za tom hranom.

Kao prva kolateralna žrtva takvog obrasca prejedanja, i neumjerene prehrane, često svojstvena i u danima opuštanja, blagdanskim danima je probavni sustav.

Postizanje prebiotičkog efekta

Osjećaj kroničnog umora, simptomi nadutosti, distenzije, meteorizam, konstipacije (probavnog zatvora), a kod mnogih i izmjena stolica – česta su posljedica akutnog prejedanja i neumjerene prehrane. Kasnija dijagnostika kod liječnika može ukazati i na inicijalne promjene masne jetre.

Unos salata je uobičajeno u popratnim količinama, nije dostatan za postizanje prebiotičkog efekta na ionako osiromašen ili opustošen crijevni mikrobiom uslijed akutno ili kronično jednolične prehrane.

Drugim riječima, jedemo li više povrća za vrijeme blagdana (kiseli kupus u sarmi, zapečena kuhana prokulica uz mesno pečenje, bogate salate uz mahunarke, itd.), omogućit ćemo crijevnom mikrobiomu da dobije svoju “hranu” i počinje stvarati ključne metaboličke glasnike – kratkolančane masne kiseline.

Božićno i novogodišnje doba osim odmora i druženja nosi sa sobom i - dodatne masne naslage. Tamo gdje smo ionako najdeblji. Jao.

Povezanost između prejedanja, debljine i ovisnosti dokazana je već krajem 1990-ih godina. Kompulzivno korištenje hrane, tzv. binge, potiče žudnju, ali potom i poricanje, zabrinutost, ponovno povećanu konzumaciju.

Nažalost, kod mnogih se nakon prekomjerne konzumacije i prejedanja, javlja i osjećaj krivnje, što može biti rani put u poremećaje prehrane.

No, ne utječe sva hrana jednako na objektivne signale prejedanja. Opće je poznato da je hrana koja se ponajviše običava jesti u razdobljima prekomjernog uživanja, hrana s obilježjima: slatko, masno, slano, a mnogi se vole opustiti i uz čašicu alkoholnog pića.

Uz masnu hranu, upravo i ponajviše je prekomjeran unos šećera povezan s kompulzivnim jedenjem i prejedanjem. Okus šećera jedan je od najosnovnijih osjetilnih percepcija, i za ljude i ostale sisavce.

Prehrambeni unos, a potom probavljanje hrane koja obiluje šećerima, a onda i solju te mastima, utječe na sustav neurotransmitera, izazivajući začarani krug ponovne žudnje za tom hranom.

Kao prva kolateralna žrtva takvog obrasca prejedanja, i neumjerene prehrane, često svojstvena i u danima opuštanja, blagdanskim danima je probavni sustav.

Postizanje prebiotičkog efekta

Osjećaj kroničnog umora, simptomi nadutosti, distenzije, meteorizam, konstipacije (probavnog zatvora), a kod mnogih i izmjena stolica – česta su posljedica akutnog prejedanja i neumjerene prehrane. Kasnija dijagnostika kod liječnika može ukazati i na inicijalne promjene masne jetre.

Unos salata je uobičajeno u popratnim količinama, nije dostatan za postizanje prebiotičkog efekta na ionako osiromašen ili opustošen crijevni mikrobiom uslijed akutno ili kronično jednolične prehrane.

Drugim riječima, jedemo li više povrća za vrijeme blagdana (kiseli kupus u sarmi, zapečena kuhana prokulica uz mesno pečenje, bogate salate uz mahunarke, itd.), omogućit ćemo crijevnom mikrobiomu da dobije svoju “hranu” i počinje stvarati ključne metaboličke glasnike – kratkolančane masne kiseline.

Uz to, možemo proaktivno nasaditi probavni sustav, odnosno debelo crijevo korisnim laktobacilima unosom kefira, kiselog jogurta, kiselog kupusa, kiselih krastavaca, kimchija i zimnice, kao prirodne izvore probiotičkih bakterija iz roda Lactobacillus.
