Emily Jackson, dvadesetosmogodišnja brineta iz američkog grada Chapel Hill u saveznoj državi Sjevernoj Karolini, otkrila je za New York Post kako je to zapravo biti "Emily u Parizu", piše Jutarnji.

"Ne samo da junakinja Netflixove serije i ja imamo isto ime, pronašla sam se u dobrom dijelu radnje", rekla je Jackson te dodala da je u seriji uočila mnogo klišeja, ali i ponešto istine.

Jackson u Parizu živi više od šest godina, a za život zarađuje u marketinškoj tvrtki - baš kao i fiktivna Emily koju u seriji autora Darrena Stara ("Seks i grad", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place") igra britanska glumica Lily Collins.

Amerikanka kaže da je njezin dosadašnji život u Parizu bio podjednako lijep i težak. "Nisam požalila ni sekunde", dodala je Jackson.

Poput fiktivne Emily, Jackson se u Pariz zaljubila unatoč inicijalnom kulturološkom šoku koji zna odbiti mnoge strance. "Kad sam kao 'au pair' (pomagač iz strane zemlje koji radi i živi s obitelji domaćinom, op. a.) stigla u Pariz, nisam govorila francuski i grad mi je djelovao prljavo. U određenim kutovima metroa mogao se osjetiti miris urina", rekla je Jackson.

Jackson je, poput fiktivne Emily, isprve živjela u omanjoj "sobi za spremačicu" (fra. chambre de bonne) koja se nalazila na petom katu stambene zgrade. Amerikanka kaže da ju je svakodnevno penjanje na peti kat ostavljalo bez zraka.

Nakon što je s cimericom uselila u stan nedaleko od Trga Republike, stan u kojem i danas živi, Jackson kaže da je jednog dana imala "susret" s povećim izmetom. "Skoro sam u njega ugazila kada išla u teretanu", rekla je Amerikanka i dodala da je čak moguće da je "nagaznu minu" pred njezinom zgradom ostavio čovjek. "Kada sam se vratila, u izmetu sam uočila otisak cipele, a osoba koja je u njega očito ugazila potom je ušla u moju zgradu."

Unatoč tome, Jackson je naučila cijeniti i uživati u Parizu. Očarali su je parkovi, spomenici i ugodne gradske četvrti.

Amerikanka je 2014. godine, nekoliko mjeseci nakon što je počela raditi kao dadilja, pokrenula svoj blog "The Glittering Unknown" (u slobodnom prijevodu "svjetlucajuće nepoznato") i počela objavljivati fotografije na Instagramu.

Dok fiktivna Emily na svom Instagram profilu objavljuje fotografije koje snima iPhoneom kojeg je maskirala tako da podsjeća na stariji fotoaparat (slavna kostimografkinja Patricia Field pribavila je taj rekvizit za potrebe snimanja), Jackson svoje snima Canon EOS Rebel SL1 fotoaparatom.

"To je pregled najljepših trenutaka mog života, svojevrsna kronika", rekla je Jackson, inače ljubiteljica mode koja nosi sve od Topshopa do poljske marke Bedra Vintage.

Jackson na Instagramu prati više od 27 tisuća korisnika, a taj joj je profil omogućio da uđe u svijet marketinga.

Nakon što je odselila od svoje "au pair" obitelji, Amerikanka je radila za nekolicinu manjih francuskih marketinških agencija. U posljednjih pet godina surađivala je s brojnim klijentima - od proizvođača mirisnih svijeća do onih koje rade proizvode na struju.

"Volim svoj posao", rekla je Jackson, koja iza sebe ima kampanje za proizvođače kozmetike L’Occitane en Provence and L’Oréal. "Ljudi koji u Parizu rade u marketingu nisu zlobni poput onih s kojima radi fiktivna Emily. Vrlo su profesionalni i nikada Amerikanca ili Amerikancu ne bi etiketirali kao seljačinu, kao što je to slučaj u seriji."

No, to ne znači da nemaju svoje "mušice".

"Mnogi se na ulicama ljube tako da im poželim reći da si uzmu sobu, a usluga u maloprodaji je grozna", primijetila je Jackson.

Amerikanka kaže da ju je susjed prošlog ljeta skoro zalio vodom iz bazena za djecu dok je na balkonu pokušavala snimiti fotografiju za Instagram. "Da su moj telefon, laptop i kamera bili blizu tog balkona, popela bi se gore do njihovog stana i ozbiljno bismo se posvađali", dodala je.

Jackson kaže da zgodni dečki poput onih u Netflixovoj seriji nisu toliko česta pojava. "Nisam te sreće", šali se. "Teško je pronaći ljubav jer u Parizu, kao i drugim velikim gradovima, većina uglavnom radi i ljudi se često sele."

Amerikanka se prisjetila jednog osobito lošeg spoja. "Jedan me dečko pozvao na piće dok smo čekali metro. Kad smo došli u kafić, naručio je čaj i rekao da apstinira od alkohola jer se jednom toliko napio da je svoga prijatelja toliko jako ugrizao za lice da je ovaj morao u bolnicu. Nakon toga me ispitivao o tome što volim u seksu. Pomislila sam, 'o moj Bože, znam gdje ovo ide'", rekla je Jackson te dodala da brzo okončala taj spoj.

"Ne želim pronaći partnera jer se želim vjenčati već zato što ne želim ići na spojeve. Mrzim ih", zaključila je Amerikanka.

Emily Jackson, dvadesetosmogodišnja brineta iz američkog grada Chapel Hill u saveznoj državi Sjevernoj Karolini, otkrila je za New York Post kako je to zapravo biti "Emily u Parizu", piše Jutarnji.

"Ne samo da junakinja Netflixove serije i ja imamo isto ime, pronašla sam se u dobrom dijelu radnje", rekla je Jackson te dodala da je u seriji uočila mnogo klišeja, ali i ponešto istine.

Jackson u Parizu živi više od šest godina, a za život zarađuje u marketinškoj tvrtki - baš kao i fiktivna Emily koju u seriji autora Darrena Stara ("Seks i grad", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place") igra britanska glumica Lily Collins.

Poput fiktivne Emily, Jackson se u Pariz zaljubila unatoč inicijalnom kulturološkom šoku koji zna odbiti mnoge strance. "Kad sam kao 'au pair' (pomagač iz strane zemlje koji radi i živi s obitelji domaćinom, op. a.) stigla u Pariz, nisam govorila francuski i grad mi je djelovao prljavo. U određenim kutovima metroa mogao se osjetiti miris urina", rekla je Jackson.

Jackson je, poput fiktivne Emily, isprve živjela u omanjoj "sobi za spremačicu" (fra. chambre de bonne) koja se nalazila na petom katu stambene zgrade. Amerikanka kaže da ju je svakodnevno penjanje na peti kat ostavljalo bez zraka.

Nakon što je s cimericom uselila u stan nedaleko od Trga Republike, stan u kojem i danas živi, Jackson kaže da je jednog dana imala "susret" s povećim izmetom. "Skoro sam u njega ugazila kada išla u teretanu", rekla je Amerikanka i dodala da je čak moguće da je "nagaznu minu" pred njezinom zgradom ostavio čovjek. "Kada sam se vratila, u izmetu sam uočila otisak cipele, a osoba koja je u njega očito ugazila potom je ušla u moju zgradu."

Unatoč tome, Jackson je naučila cijeniti i uživati u Parizu. Očarali su je parkovi, spomenici i ugodne gradske četvrti.

Amerikanka je 2014. godine, nekoliko mjeseci nakon što je počela raditi kao dadilja, pokrenula svoj blog "The Glittering Unknown" (u slobodnom prijevodu "svjetlucajuće nepoznato") i počela objavljivati fotografije na Instagramu.

Dok fiktivna Emily na svom Instagram profilu objavljuje fotografije koje snima iPhoneom kojeg je maskirala tako da podsjeća na stariji fotoaparat (slavna kostimografkinja Patricia Field pribavila je taj rekvizit za potrebe snimanja), Jackson svoje snima Canon EOS Rebel SL1 fotoaparatom.

"To je pregled najljepših trenutaka mog života, svojevrsna kronika", rekla je Jackson, inače ljubiteljica mode koja nosi sve od Topshopa do poljske marke Bedra Vintage.

Jackson na Instagramu prati više od 27 tisuća korisnika, a taj joj je profil omogućio da uđe u svijet marketinga.

Nakon što je odselila od svoje "au pair" obitelji, Amerikanka je radila za nekolicinu manjih francuskih marketinških agencija. U posljednjih pet godina surađivala je s brojnim klijentima - od proizvođača mirisnih svijeća do onih koje rade proizvode na struju.

"Volim svoj posao", rekla je Jackson, koja iza sebe ima kampanje za proizvođače kozmetike L’Occitane en Provence and L’Oréal. "Ljudi koji u Parizu rade u marketingu nisu zlobni poput onih s kojima radi fiktivna Emily. Vrlo su profesionalni i nikada Amerikanca ili Amerikancu ne bi etiketirali kao seljačinu, kao što je to slučaj u seriji."

No, to ne znači da nemaju svoje "mušice".

"Mnogi se na ulicama ljube tako da im poželim reći da si uzmu sobu, a usluga u maloprodaji je grozna", primijetila je Jackson.

Amerikanka kaže da ju je susjed prošlog ljeta skoro zalio vodom iz bazena za djecu dok je na balkonu pokušavala snimiti fotografiju za Instagram. "Da su moj telefon, laptop i kamera bili blizu tog balkona, popela bi se gore do njihovog stana i ozbiljno bismo se posvađali", dodala je.

Jackson kaže da zgodni dečki poput onih u Netflixovoj seriji nisu toliko česta pojava. "Nisam te sreće", šali se. "Teško je pronaći ljubav jer u Parizu, kao i drugim velikim gradovima, većina uglavnom radi i ljudi se često sele."

Amerikanka se prisjetila jednog osobito lošeg spoja. "Jedan me dečko pozvao na piće dok smo čekali metro. Kad smo došli u kafić, naručio je čaj i rekao da apstinira od alkohola jer se jednom toliko napio da je svoga prijatelja toliko jako ugrizao za lice da je ovaj morao u bolnicu. Nakon toga me ispitivao o tome što volim u seksu. Pomislila sam, 'o moj Bože, znam gdje ovo ide'", rekla je Jackson te dodala da brzo okončala taj spoj.

"Ne želim pronaći partnera jer se želim vjenčati već zato što ne želim ići na spojeve. Mrzim ih", zaključila je Amerikanka.

Emily Jackson, dvadesetosmogodišnja brineta iz američkog grada Chapel Hill u saveznoj državi Sjevernoj Karolini, otkrila je za New York Post kako je to zapravo biti "Emily u Parizu", piše Jutarnji.

"Ne samo da junakinja Netflixove serije i ja imamo isto ime, pronašla sam se u dobrom dijelu radnje", rekla je Jackson te dodala da je u seriji uočila mnogo klišeja, ali i ponešto istine.

Jackson u Parizu živi više od šest godina, a za život zarađuje u marketinškoj tvrtki - baš kao i fiktivna Emily koju u seriji autora Darrena Stara ("Seks i grad", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place") igra britanska glumica Lily Collins.

Amerikanka kaže da je njezin dosadašnji život u Parizu bio podjednako lijep i težak. "Nisam požalila ni sekunde", dodala je Jackson.
