Ime Splićanke Kate Mijić (Kate Mitchell) ima osobito mjesto u kontekstu popularne i trivijalne književnosti.
Riječ je o autorici koju zbog začudne produktivnosti i čitateljske recepcije drže svojevrsnim kulturološkim fenomenom našeg (književnog) vremena, pa je nazivaju i kraljicom hrvatskih ljubića, neokrunjenom kraljicom ljubavnih romana te ženom koja ljudima želi dati nadu".
Ovako se u članku objavljenom u znanstvenom časopisu ugledni sveučilišni profesor dr. Ivan Bošković iz Splita izrazio o Kati Mijić, spisateljici koja se (ne) krije pod pseudonimom Kate Mitchell, a odnedavno je dobila i onaj "Kejt Mičel".
Naime, Mijić je započela uspješnu suradnju s beogradskom izdavačkom kućom "Laguna", te se u samo dva mjeseca na ljestvici čitanosti (prodavanosti) pojavila u "top 20" svih naslova, te u "top 5" ljubića!
Ovako je o fenomenu uspjeha autorice koju mnogi Splićani jednostavno znaju i kao "mitsku konobaricu iz Žbirca", kultnog kafića smještenog na pješčanim Bačama, nedavno pisala naša novinarka Lenka Gospodnetić, koja je i ranije rado bilježila Katine angažmane i impresivne izdavačke dobačaje.
Naša spisateljica Kata, inače porijeklom s mućkog Zelova, ovih je dana na Facebooku objavila intrigantan status, koji je ipak naišao na odobravanje njezinih pratiteljica.
Prenosimo ga u cijelosti:
"AKO SE NEMAŠ SA ČIME POHVALITI, POKAŽEŠ TIJELO!
Izbjegavam odlazak na društvene mreže. Kad god otvorim nešto, naletim na žensku golotinju. Muka mi je i od ovih šta ih gledam dok radim, ali, one su na plaži, pa im toliko i ne zamjeram.
A šta je sa ovima koje sve serviraju: "Na, izvolite!" Ako se nemaš čim pohvaliti, uvijek ima druga opcija, guzice i sise.
Ne razumijem taj poriv stavljanja svoje golotinje? Koji je smisao i cilj? Da netko slini nad vama, najblaže rečeno. Da li zbog lajkova? Mogu zamisliti kakve sve poruke dobivaju u inbox.
Dobivam i ja svakakve, a stavljan na mreže knjige, psa, porculan, i pokoju sliku gdje sam odjevena, što priliči onom što jesam, li i mjestu na kojem objavljujem. Imam više zablokiranih, nego prijatelja.
Zašto žene misle da je lijepo staviti sliku razgolićenog tijela? Koja je svrha? Zna se gdje se, i pred kim skida, a to se nikako ne radi javno. Hoćete li jednog dana sa ponosom pokazivati svojoj djeci koliko ste lajkova skupili na račun toga šta ste sve pokazale?
Degradiraju žene sebe, pa se čude zašto ljudi imaju loše mišljenje o njima. A šta su napravile? Zašto ne mogu naći normalnog momka? Ulijeću im samo oni koji su totalna šteta? Znaju li žene da mogu pokazati sve, ali upakirano u odjeću. To je daleko ljepše, dostojanstvenije, i primjerenije.
No, svatko pokaže ono što ima, a sam pogled na sliku je dovoljan da se vidi sva raskoš inteligencije. Ono čega se pametan srami, budala se ponosi sa tim." - ustvrdila je Kata Mijić, dapače Kate Mitchell, a hoće li se mnogi s njom složiti, prilično je upitno.
No Kata, očito, nema problema s javnim izricanjem stavova, pa makar njima i uvrijedila, jednako kao što rado izmamljuje uzdahe na ženskim usnama među čitateljicama, koje vole žanr kojim ona kraljuje.

Ime Splićanke Kate Mijić (Kate Mitchell) ima osobito mjesto u kontekstu popularne i trivijalne književnosti.
Riječ je o autorici koju zbog začudne produktivnosti i čitateljske recepcije drže svojevrsnim kulturološkim fenomenom našeg (književnog) vremena, pa je nazivaju i kraljicom hrvatskih ljubića, neokrunjenom kraljicom ljubavnih romana te ženom koja ljudima želi dati nadu".
Ovako se u članku objavljenom u znanstvenom časopisu ugledni sveučilišni profesor dr. Ivan Bošković iz Splita izrazio o Kati Mijić, spisateljici koja se (ne) krije pod pseudonimom Kate Mitchell, a odnedavno je dobila i onaj "Kejt Mičel".
Naime, Mijić je započela uspješnu suradnju s beogradskom izdavačkom kućom "Laguna", te se u samo dva mjeseca na ljestvici čitanosti (prodavanosti) pojavila u "top 20" svih naslova, te u "top 5" ljubića!
Ovako je o fenomenu uspjeha autorice koju mnogi Splićani jednostavno znaju i kao "mitsku konobaricu iz Žbirca", kultnog kafića smještenog na pješčanim Bačama, nedavno pisala naša novinarka Lenka Gospodnetić, koja je i ranije rado bilježila Katine angažmane i impresivne izdavačke dobačaje.
Naša spisateljica Kata, inače porijeklom s mućkog Zelova, ovih je dana na Facebooku objavila intrigantan status, koji je ipak naišao na odobravanje njezinih pratiteljica.
Prenosimo ga u cijelosti:
"AKO SE NEMAŠ SA ČIME POHVALITI, POKAŽEŠ TIJELO!
Izbjegavam odlazak na društvene mreže. Kad god otvorim nešto, naletim na žensku golotinju. Muka mi je i od ovih šta ih gledam dok radim, ali, one su na plaži, pa im toliko i ne zamjeram.
A šta je sa ovima koje sve serviraju: "Na, izvolite!" Ako se nemaš čim pohvaliti, uvijek ima druga opcija, guzice i sise.
Ne razumijem taj poriv stavljanja svoje golotinje? Koji je smisao i cilj? Da netko slini nad vama, najblaže rečeno. Da li zbog lajkova? Mogu zamisliti kakve sve poruke dobivaju u inbox.
Dobivam i ja svakakve, a stavljan na mreže knjige, psa, porculan, i pokoju sliku gdje sam odjevena, što priliči onom što jesam, li i mjestu na kojem objavljujem. Imam više zablokiranih, nego prijatelja.
Zašto žene misle da je lijepo staviti sliku razgolićenog tijela? Koja je svrha? Zna se gdje se, i pred kim skida, a to se nikako ne radi javno. Hoćete li jednog dana sa ponosom pokazivati svojoj djeci koliko ste lajkova skupili na račun toga šta ste sve pokazale?
Degradiraju žene sebe, pa se čude zašto ljudi imaju loše mišljenje o njima. A šta su napravile? Zašto ne mogu naći normalnog momka? Ulijeću im samo oni koji su totalna šteta? Znaju li žene da mogu pokazati sve, ali upakirano u odjeću. To je daleko ljepše, dostojanstvenije, i primjerenije.
No, svatko pokaže ono što ima, a sam pogled na sliku je dovoljan da se vidi sva raskoš inteligencije. Ono čega se pametan srami, budala se ponosi sa tim." - ustvrdila je Kata Mijić, dapače Kate Mitchell, a hoće li se mnogi s njom složiti, prilično je upitno.
No Kata, očito, nema problema s javnim izricanjem stavova, pa makar njima i uvrijedila, jednako kao što rado izmamljuje uzdahe na ženskim usnama među čitateljicama, koje vole žanr kojim ona kraljuje.
