Renault Clio u svojoj ponudi više nema dizelski agregat, a umjesto njega kao zamjena stigla je hibridna, benzinsko-električna verzija, po sličnoj cijeni bivšeg dobro opremljenog 1,5-litrenog dCi turbodizelaša. Francuzi su primijenili klasičnu hibridnu sinergiju benzinskog motora, električnog segmenta napravljenog od elektromotora, generatora i baterije bez vanjskog punjenja te automatskog mjenjača.

Benzinski atmosferski 1,6-litreni motor od osnovnih 91 KS povezan je s elektromotorom od 36 kW, starter-generatorom od 15 kW i litij-ionskom baterijom od od 1.2 kWh, te dobio ukupnih 140 KS i 205 Nm, osjetno više od Yarisovih 116 KS i Jazzovih 109 KS. Sve je to povezano sa zanimljivo koncipiranim MultiMode automatskim mjenjačem, s kandžastom spojkom principa rada kao u Renaultovu bolidu Formule 1. Ima četiri osnovne brzine za benzinski motor, dvije za elektromotor, a sve je sinkronizirano s 15 sekundarnih programa, koje elektronika neprestano prilagođava osnovnim brzinama i samom ritmu vožnju.

Sinkronizacija sklopova je besprijekorna, prijelazi iz jednog u drugi ili u zajednički režim rada odvijaju se nezamjetno, a mjenjač bez opcije ručnog šaltanja radi ugodno brzo i fenomenalno glatko. Benzinski motor nikad ne ostaje potpuno bez asistencije jakog električnog sklopa, jer generator uvijek osigurava barem toliko struje da makar na koju sekundu pomogne benzincu u ubrzanjima i štednji goriva.

Princip rekuperacije kinetičke energije i pretvorbe u električnu putem generatora i njezino spremanje u bateriju jednak je ostalim hibridima, najviše kočenjem, ali i samim radom benzinca. Hibrid je vrlo startan, posebno u sportskom programu rada, sinergija benzina i jakog elektromotora generira puni okretni moment od samog starta pa mu od nule do 60 km/h trebaju samo tri sekunde, a "stotku" hvata za 10 sekundi.

Uvijek dostupna puna snaga i okretni moment u cijelom rasponu rada s uvjerljivim međuubrzanjima prilikom pretjecanja, dobre mogućnosti regeneracije energije i potrošnja između četiri i pet litara, podjednaka dizelskoj, čine ga i dosta brzim i vrlo ekonomičnim. Manje ugodan je jedino rast buke atmosferskog benzinca s jače pritisnutim gasom i na visokim okretajima. Hibrid je dobar i na autocesti, gdje se najbolje drži ograničenje brzine, s obzirom da glavnu riječ vodi atmosferski benzinac koji sam nema bogznakakva međuubrzanja, pa pripomoć struje, kad je ima, jako dobro dođe.

Posebnost hibridne verzije su detalji plave boje provučeni dijelovima prednjeg dijela unutrašnjosti, koja sa svijetlim oblogama i u najskupljoj opremi Edition ima dozu otmjenosti. Animacije i informacije digitalnih instrumenata prate rad hibridnog sklopa, pa vozač u svakom trenutku ima uvid u režim rada, prema kojem može prilagođavati ritam vožnje. Prostranost straga je korektna, ali nije nešto čime bi se Clio mogao pohvaliti. Prtljažnik je manji od klasičnog benzinca 90 litara, a spremnik benzina tri litre.

Cijena testnog modela s hibridnim sklopom i opremom Edition je 20.255 eura, a s dodatnom opremom 22.160 eura.

Renault Clio u svojoj ponudi više nema dizelski agregat, a umjesto njega kao zamjena stigla je hibridna, benzinsko-električna verzija, po sličnoj cijeni bivšeg dobro opremljenog 1,5-litrenog dCi turbodizelaša. Francuzi su primijenili klasičnu hibridnu sinergiju benzinskog motora, električnog segmenta napravljenog od elektromotora, generatora i baterije bez vanjskog punjenja te automatskog mjenjača.

Benzinski atmosferski 1,6-litreni motor od osnovnih 91 KS povezan je s elektromotorom od 36 kW, starter-generatorom od 15 kW i litij-ionskom baterijom od od 1.2 kWh, te dobio ukupnih 140 KS i 205 Nm, osjetno više od Yarisovih 116 KS i Jazzovih 109 KS. Sve je to povezano sa zanimljivo koncipiranim MultiMode automatskim mjenjačem, s kandžastom spojkom principa rada kao u Renaultovu bolidu Formule 1. Ima četiri osnovne brzine za benzinski motor, dvije za elektromotor, a sve je sinkronizirano s 15 sekundarnih programa, koje elektronika neprestano prilagođava osnovnim brzinama i samom ritmu vožnju.

Sinkronizacija sklopova je besprijekorna, prijelazi iz jednog u drugi ili u zajednički režim rada odvijaju se nezamjetno, a mjenjač bez opcije ručnog šaltanja radi ugodno brzo i fenomenalno glatko. Benzinski motor nikad ne ostaje potpuno bez asistencije jakog električnog sklopa, jer generator uvijek osigurava barem toliko struje da makar na koju sekundu pomogne benzincu u ubrzanjima i štednji goriva.

Princip rekuperacije kinetičke energije i pretvorbe u električnu putem generatora i njezino spremanje u bateriju jednak je ostalim hibridima, najviše kočenjem, ali i samim radom benzinca. Hibrid je vrlo startan, posebno u sportskom programu rada, sinergija benzina i jakog elektromotora generira puni okretni moment od samog starta pa mu od nule do 60 km/h trebaju samo tri sekunde, a "stotku" hvata za 10 sekundi.

Uvijek dostupna puna snaga i okretni moment u cijelom rasponu rada s uvjerljivim međuubrzanjima prilikom pretjecanja, dobre mogućnosti regeneracije energije i potrošnja između četiri i pet litara, podjednaka dizelskoj, čine ga i dosta brzim i vrlo ekonomičnim. Manje ugodan je jedino rast buke atmosferskog benzinca s jače pritisnutim gasom i na visokim okretajima. Hibrid je dobar i na autocesti, gdje se najbolje drži ograničenje brzine, s obzirom da glavnu riječ vodi atmosferski benzinac koji sam nema bogznakakva međuubrzanja, pa pripomoć struje, kad je ima, jako dobro dođe.

Posebnost hibridne verzije su detalji plave boje provučeni dijelovima prednjeg dijela unutrašnjosti, koja sa svijetlim oblogama i u najskupljoj opremi Edition ima dozu otmjenosti. Animacije i informacije digitalnih instrumenata prate rad hibridnog sklopa, pa vozač u svakom trenutku ima uvid u režim rada, prema kojem može prilagođavati ritam vožnje. Prostranost straga je korektna, ali nije nešto čime bi se Clio mogao pohvaliti. Prtljažnik je manji od klasičnog benzinca 90 litara, a spremnik benzina tri litre.

Cijena testnog modela s hibridnim sklopom i opremom Edition je 20.255 eura, a s dodatnom opremom 22.160 eura.
