Mnogi vozači gume ne provjeravaju redovito iako se kompresor za punjenje i kontrolu guma nalazi skoro na svakoj benzinskoj pumpi. Često se misli i da su ljetni uvjeti vožnje manje zahtjevni za gume od zimskih. Međutim to nije tako.

Američka Nacionalna uprava za sigurnost prometa na cestama navela je da se godišnje dogodi najmanje 11.000 sudara, povezanih s neispravnošću guma.

Kombinacija vrućine i preniske količine zraka u gumama čini ih posebno sklonima pucanjima tijekom ljeta. Tijekom vožnje bočne stijenke guma se savijaju te je površina gume na asfaltu veća, dolazi do povećanog trenja, što povisuje njihovu temperaturu. Ako je tlak u gumi nizak, bočne stijenke dijelom naliježu na asfalt i stvaraju puno više topline. Dodajte tome ljetno sunce, odnosno visoku temperaturu asfalta i na kraju se guma može raspasti, piše HAK revija.

Srećom, postoje aktivnosti koje smanjuju mogućnost ljetnih problema s gumama. Treba ih napuhati do preporučene vrijednosti, a tlak provjeravati kada je automobil hladan ili ako je vožen na kratkoj udaljenosti. Treba barem jedanput mjesečno pregledavati imaju li gume ispupčenja, ogrebotine, posjekotine ili oštećenja, piše HAK revija.

Posebno je opasno ako guma pukne u vožnji, tada treba sačuvati prisebnost i vozilo sigurno maknuti s ceste.

Kad guma eksplodira pri brzini, vozilo počinje usporavati i snažno vuče lijevo ili desno, ovisno o tome koja je guma pukla. Da biste se sigurno maknuli s ceste, trebate izbjeći skretanje u drugu traku ili opasno sporu vožnju. Zadržite, pa čak i dodajte gas da bi vaše vozilo zadržalo zamah prema naprijed. Ako vozilo vuče lijevo, vi upravljajte desno. Nakon što stavite vozilo pod kontrolu, možete ga odvesti do sigurnog mjesta, piše NTB.com.

Dakle, nadajmo se kako nam se neće dogoditi da nam guma pukne u vožnji, ali kada znamo što treba učiniti u tom slučaju, nema mjesta velikom strahu ni panici. A još je vrednije ono što možemo učiniti da nam se to ne dogodi: redovito kontrolirajmo tlak u gumama i same gume, po potrebi ih napumpajmo i sve bi trebalo biti dobro.

Mnogi vozači gume ne provjeravaju redovito iako se kompresor za punjenje i kontrolu guma nalazi skoro na svakoj benzinskoj pumpi. Često se misli i da su ljetni uvjeti vožnje manje zahtjevni za gume od zimskih. Međutim to nije tako.

Američka Nacionalna uprava za sigurnost prometa na cestama navela je da se godišnje dogodi najmanje 11.000 sudara, povezanih s neispravnošću guma.

Kombinacija vrućine i preniske količine zraka u gumama čini ih posebno sklonima pucanjima tijekom ljeta. Tijekom vožnje bočne stijenke guma se savijaju te je površina gume na asfaltu veća, dolazi do povećanog trenja, što povisuje njihovu temperaturu. Ako je tlak u gumi nizak, bočne stijenke dijelom naliježu na asfalt i stvaraju puno više topline. Dodajte tome ljetno sunce, odnosno visoku temperaturu asfalta i na kraju se guma može raspasti, piše HAK revija.

Srećom, postoje aktivnosti koje smanjuju mogućnost ljetnih problema s gumama. Treba ih napuhati do preporučene vrijednosti, a tlak provjeravati kada je automobil hladan ili ako je vožen na kratkoj udaljenosti. Treba barem jedanput mjesečno pregledavati imaju li gume ispupčenja, ogrebotine, posjekotine ili oštećenja, piše HAK revija.

Posebno je opasno ako guma pukne u vožnji, tada treba sačuvati prisebnost i vozilo sigurno maknuti s ceste.

Kad guma eksplodira pri brzini, vozilo počinje usporavati i snažno vuče lijevo ili desno, ovisno o tome koja je guma pukla. Da biste se sigurno maknuli s ceste, trebate izbjeći skretanje u drugu traku ili opasno sporu vožnju. Zadržite, pa čak i dodajte gas da bi vaše vozilo zadržalo zamah prema naprijed. Ako vozilo vuče lijevo, vi upravljajte desno. Nakon što stavite vozilo pod kontrolu, možete ga odvesti do sigurnog mjesta, piše NTB.com.

Dakle, nadajmo se kako nam se neće dogoditi da nam guma pukne u vožnji, ali kada znamo što treba učiniti u tom slučaju, nema mjesta velikom strahu ni panici. A još je vrednije ono što možemo učiniti da nam se to ne dogodi: redovito kontrolirajmo tlak u gumama i same gume, po potrebi ih napumpajmo i sve bi trebalo biti dobro.
