Početkom slijedeće godine na ceste stiže potpuno nova, šesta generacija Opel Astre, a njezino premijerno predstavljanje trebalo bi uslijediti najesen. To znači da aktualna peta generacija Astre lansirana u jesen 2015. godine i lagano redizajnirana 2019. živi svoje posljednje mjesece. Prema tome na otkrivanje najnovije verzije Astre neće dugo trebati čekati. Što se tiče dimenzija dužina šeste generacije Astre istaje ista – 437 centimetara, ali će biti šira pet i niža jedan centimetar. Nova platforma ima osovinski razmak od 268 centimetara, a veći prtljažnik broji 422 litre.

Vanjski dizajn ide u smjeru nove Corse, ali sa stilskim odrednicama nove Mokke s crnom maskom Vizor, haubom s malom uzdužnom krijestom po sredini i opcijom dvobojne karoserije. Neizostavna su i LED Matrix svjetla i naplaci koji sežu do veličine od 18 cola. Stil Mokke prati i nova unutrašnjost, s dva velika odvojena digitalna ekrana.

Doduše platnena kamuflaža još uvijek skriva moderan, digitaliziran ambijent sa spomenuta dva velika ekrana, varijaciju na temu nove Mokke i obnovljenoga Grandlanda. Vozačka pozicija bit će još prirodnija, a mjesta će također biti još više. Opelovi inženjeri i testni vozači nakon jurnjave ovalom u Dudenhofenu uvjeravaju kako će nova Astra biti vozačkije orijentirana i sportskija nego ikad prije.

Tijekom razvoja njemački inženjeri su je podvrgli surovim testovima zimske izdržljivosti i funkcije grijanja na temperaturama u švedskom dijelu Laponije koje su bile i niže od minus 30 stupnjeva. Isto tako testirana je čvrstoća podvozja po lošim putevima zabačenijih ruralnih krajeva Istočne Europe, kao i testovi hlađenja u vrelim ljetnim danima mediteranskih zemalja. U Opelovom testnom centru u Dudenhofenu, koji osim laboratorijskih kapaciteta ima i sjajne poligone koji vjerno imitiraju sve moguće vrste podloga i konfiguracije uspona i strmina po kojima bi Astra mogla voziti, uključujući brzu ovalnu stazu, bruse se završni detalji za premijeru.

Zanimljivo je da se proizvodnja Astre ukida u Poljskoj i Engleskoj, te se kompletna proizvodnja prebacuje u Njemačku. Nova Astra će se kotrljati na modulaciji Peugeot Citroenove platforme EMP2 koju koriste novi Peugeot 308 i 3008, Citroen C4 ali i Grandland. Ova platforma nosi polukrut ovjes, klasične benzince i dizelaše, ali i plug-in hibridne motore.

To znači da će ispod prednje haube biti već poznati francuski 1,2-litreni 3-cilindarski turbobenzinci snage 110 i 130 KS, te 1,5-litreni 4-cilindarski turbodizelaš od 110 KS, te po prvi put plug-in hibridna izvedba temeljena na 1,6-litrenom turbobenzinskom motoru i elektromotoru. I to u dvije pomalo poznate verzije pri čemu će osnovna raspolagati sa 180 „konja“, a snažnija sa 225 KS.

Potonja Astra dolazi kao sportski dekorirani OPC model. Uz ručni mjenjač sa šest brzina ugrađivat će se i automatski s osam stupnjeva prijenosa, dok će ovjes biti polukrut sa samoadaptivnom funkcijom uz jače motore. Čiste električne verzije, kako sada stvari stoje, zasad neće biti.

Naravno, cijene nove generacije nove Astre nisu poznate, ali kao podsjetnik ističemo kako aktualna verzija Opelovog kompakta s benzinskim motorom starta od 149.500 kuna, a dizelska od 163.900 kuna.

Početkom slijedeće godine na ceste stiže potpuno nova, šesta generacija Opel Astre, a njezino premijerno predstavljanje trebalo bi uslijediti najesen. To znači da aktualna peta generacija Astre lansirana u jesen 2015. godine i lagano redizajnirana 2019. živi svoje posljednje mjesece. Prema tome na otkrivanje najnovije verzije Astre neće dugo trebati čekati. Što se tiče dimenzija dužina šeste generacije Astre istaje ista – 437 centimetara, ali će biti šira pet i niža jedan centimetar. Nova platforma ima osovinski razmak od 268 centimetara, a veći prtljažnik broji 422 litre.

Vanjski dizajn ide u smjeru nove Corse, ali sa stilskim odrednicama nove Mokke s crnom maskom Vizor, haubom s malom uzdužnom krijestom po sredini i opcijom dvobojne karoserije. Neizostavna su i LED Matrix svjetla i naplaci koji sežu do veličine od 18 cola. Stil Mokke prati i nova unutrašnjost, s dva velika odvojena digitalna ekrana.

Doduše platnena kamuflaža još uvijek skriva moderan, digitaliziran ambijent sa spomenuta dva velika ekrana, varijaciju na temu nove Mokke i obnovljenoga Grandlanda. Vozačka pozicija bit će još prirodnija, a mjesta će također biti još više. Opelovi inženjeri i testni vozači nakon jurnjave ovalom u Dudenhofenu uvjeravaju kako će nova Astra biti vozačkije orijentirana i sportskija nego ikad prije.

Tijekom razvoja njemački inženjeri su je podvrgli surovim testovima zimske izdržljivosti i funkcije grijanja na temperaturama u švedskom dijelu Laponije koje su bile i niže od minus 30 stupnjeva. Isto tako testirana je čvrstoća podvozja po lošim putevima zabačenijih ruralnih krajeva Istočne Europe, kao i testovi hlađenja u vrelim ljetnim danima mediteranskih zemalja. U Opelovom testnom centru u Dudenhofenu, koji osim laboratorijskih kapaciteta ima i sjajne poligone koji vjerno imitiraju sve moguće vrste podloga i konfiguracije uspona i strmina po kojima bi Astra mogla voziti, uključujući brzu ovalnu stazu, bruse se završni detalji za premijeru.

Zanimljivo je da se proizvodnja Astre ukida u Poljskoj i Engleskoj, te se kompletna proizvodnja prebacuje u Njemačku. Nova Astra će se kotrljati na modulaciji Peugeot Citroenove platforme EMP2 koju koriste novi Peugeot 308 i 3008, Citroen C4 ali i Grandland. Ova platforma nosi polukrut ovjes, klasične benzince i dizelaše, ali i plug-in hibridne motore.

To znači da će ispod prednje haube biti već poznati francuski 1,2-litreni 3-cilindarski turbobenzinci snage 110 i 130 KS, te 1,5-litreni 4-cilindarski turbodizelaš od 110 KS, te po prvi put plug-in hibridna izvedba temeljena na 1,6-litrenom turbobenzinskom motoru i elektromotoru. I to u dvije pomalo poznate verzije pri čemu će osnovna raspolagati sa 180 „konja“, a snažnija sa 225 KS.

Potonja Astra dolazi kao sportski dekorirani OPC model. Uz ručni mjenjač sa šest brzina ugrađivat će se i automatski s osam stupnjeva prijenosa, dok će ovjes biti polukrut sa samoadaptivnom funkcijom uz jače motore. Čiste električne verzije, kako sada stvari stoje, zasad neće biti.

Naravno, cijene nove generacije nove Astre nisu poznate, ali kao podsjetnik ističemo kako aktualna verzija Opelovog kompakta s benzinskim motorom starta od 149.500 kuna, a dizelska od 163.900 kuna.
