Najpopularniji Suzukijev SUV Vitara dolazi samo s jednim agregatom, 1,4-litrenim blagim hibridom ukupne snage 129 KS uparenim s ručnim 6-stupanjskim mjenjačem, te prednjim ili pogonom na sve kotače. 

Suzuki je u vrlo kratkom roku sve svoje modele prilagodio zahtjevima Europske unije tako što je benzinskim motorima pridodao tehnologiju „blagih“, odnosno mild hibrida. Radi se o tehnologiji koja kombinira upotrebu elektromotora/generatora s klasičnim benzinskim motorom, pri čemu se baterija puni energijom dobivenom isključivo radom agregata s unutarnjim sagorijevanjem.

Odličan primjer za tako nešto je Vitara s prednjim pogonom, koja je s laganim preinakama na postojeći 1,4-litreni turbobenzinski motor dobila blagu hibridnu tehnologiju s 48-voltnim električnim sklopom. Uz prigušenog turbobenzinca od 140 KS, čija je snaga smanjena na 129 KS, glavni elementi električnog sklopa su elektromotor snage 10 kW ili 13,6 KS, litijska baterija i pretvarač sa 48 na 12 volti. Ova voltaža od 48V se koristi jer je iskoristivija kod rekuperacije baterije i skladištenja energije. Alternator je kod mild hibrida zamijenjen električnom motorom koji radi i kao generator kada ga tjera motor ili u ovom slučaju, točnije, kada se koči motorom.

Novi motor razvija veći okretni moment od prethodnika, 235 Nm u odnosu na 220 Nm kod prijašnjeg. No taj moment razvija u užem području od 2000 do 3000 okretaja u minuti, dok je prethodnik maksimalni moment razvijao između 1500 i 4000 okretaja. Prijašnji je motor razvijao 11 KS više, točnije 140 konja pri 5500 „điri“, dok novi razvija maksimalnih 129 konja pri istom broju okretaja.

Prilikom praznog hoda benzinskog motora, kad se ne stiska kvačilo i dođe se do nekih 1000 „điri“, elektromotor će držati benzinski motor u praznom hodu, bez ubrizgavanja goriva. Korištenje ove funkcije, tzv. jedrenja, uvelike povećava iskoristivost goriva. Kako se motor okreće u praznom hodu, u svakom trenutku je moguće stisnuti gas i opet ubrzati. Funkcija jedrenja bitno smanjuje potrošnju i emisiju štetnih plinova.

Ono što čini razliku je elektromotor/generator/starter, koji u ovom slučaju ima tek 10 KW ili 13,6 KS, koji znatno utječe na smanjenu potrošnju goriva. Međutim, puno važnije za vožnju je što dodaje i 50 Nm okretnog momenta. Upravo taj dodatni okretni moment ima Boost funkciju koja daje dobar osjećaj vožnje pri ubrzavanju jer je tih 50 Nm kod elektromotora dostupno istog trenutka, čim se stisne papučica gasa.

Elektromotor je aktivan od 800 do 5200 „điri“ kada tehnički može podržavati glavni motor. Treba napomenuti da se službeno snaga elektromotora ne pribraja snazi turbobenzinca. Dakle, izlazna snaga iz motora je jedna te ista, bez obzira je li elektromotor uključen ili ne. Kad pomaže glavnom motoru, elektromotor je pogonjen baterijom od 8 Ah koja se rekuperira pri svakom kočenju motorom. U tom se trenutku elektromotor pretvara u generator koji puni bateriju.

Ono što se tijekom vožnje najprije primijeti je ujednačenije i dosljedno ubrzanje motora pri manjim brzinama. Ovih 50 Nm električne pomoći na raspolaganju je po cijeloj skali „điri“. Pa prije nego turbopunjač počne ozbiljno raditi svoj posao kod nekih 2000 „điri“, nedostatak okretnog momenta turbobenzinca nadopunjava elektromotor. To izravnava krivulju ubrzanja te osigurava ujednačeno ubrzavanje.

Kad se uključi turbopunjač i stisne gas preko 2000 „điri“, a još više tamo blizu 3000 okretaja, nova Vitara pomalo neočekivano ubrza i pruža odličan osjećaj vožnje. Motor radi izvanredno mirno, bez trzanja, a tako se ponaša i na cesti. Potrošnja je doista manja. Hibridna Vitara u gradu troši 5,2 l/100 km, izvan grada 4,2 l/100 km i kombinirano 4,6 l/100 km.

U ovakvoj konstelaciji snaga, s prigušenim turbobenzincem i elektromotorom, Vitara postiže najveću brzinu od 190 km/h. Model koji je najprihvatljiviji kupcima je s paketom opreme Elegance+, te s prednjim pogonom i ručnim 6-stupanjskim mjenjačem, a cijena mu je 160.812 kuna.

Najpopularniji Suzukijev SUV Vitara dolazi samo s jednim agregatom, 1,4-litrenim blagim hibridom ukupne snage 129 KS uparenim s ručnim 6-stupanjskim mjenjačem, te prednjim ili pogonom na sve kotače. 

Suzuki je u vrlo kratkom roku sve svoje modele prilagodio zahtjevima Europske unije tako što je benzinskim motorima pridodao tehnologiju „blagih“, odnosno mild hibrida. Radi se o tehnologiji koja kombinira upotrebu elektromotora/generatora s klasičnim benzinskim motorom, pri čemu se baterija puni energijom dobivenom isključivo radom agregata s unutarnjim sagorijevanjem.

Odličan primjer za tako nešto je Vitara s prednjim pogonom, koja je s laganim preinakama na postojeći 1,4-litreni turbobenzinski motor dobila blagu hibridnu tehnologiju s 48-voltnim električnim sklopom. Uz prigušenog turbobenzinca od 140 KS, čija je snaga smanjena na 129 KS, glavni elementi električnog sklopa su elektromotor snage 10 kW ili 13,6 KS, litijska baterija i pretvarač sa 48 na 12 volti. Ova voltaža od 48V se koristi jer je iskoristivija kod rekuperacije baterije i skladištenja energije. Alternator je kod mild hibrida zamijenjen električnom motorom koji radi i kao generator kada ga tjera motor ili u ovom slučaju, točnije, kada se koči motorom.

Novi motor razvija veći okretni moment od prethodnika, 235 Nm u odnosu na 220 Nm kod prijašnjeg. No taj moment razvija u užem području od 2000 do 3000 okretaja u minuti, dok je prethodnik maksimalni moment razvijao između 1500 i 4000 okretaja. Prijašnji je motor razvijao 11 KS više, točnije 140 konja pri 5500 „điri“, dok novi razvija maksimalnih 129 konja pri istom broju okretaja.

Prilikom praznog hoda benzinskog motora, kad se ne stiska kvačilo i dođe se do nekih 1000 „điri“, elektromotor će držati benzinski motor u praznom hodu, bez ubrizgavanja goriva. Korištenje ove funkcije, tzv. jedrenja, uvelike povećava iskoristivost goriva. Kako se motor okreće u praznom hodu, u svakom trenutku je moguće stisnuti gas i opet ubrzati. Funkcija jedrenja bitno smanjuje potrošnju i emisiju štetnih plinova.

Ono što čini razliku je elektromotor/generator/starter, koji u ovom slučaju ima tek 10 KW ili 13,6 KS, koji znatno utječe na smanjenu potrošnju goriva. Međutim, puno važnije za vožnju je što dodaje i 50 Nm okretnog momenta. Upravo taj dodatni okretni moment ima Boost funkciju koja daje dobar osjećaj vožnje pri ubrzavanju jer je tih 50 Nm kod elektromotora dostupno istog trenutka, čim se stisne papučica gasa.

Elektromotor je aktivan od 800 do 5200 „điri“ kada tehnički može podržavati glavni motor. Treba napomenuti da se službeno snaga elektromotora ne pribraja snazi turbobenzinca. Dakle, izlazna snaga iz motora je jedna te ista, bez obzira je li elektromotor uključen ili ne. Kad pomaže glavnom motoru, elektromotor je pogonjen baterijom od 8 Ah koja se rekuperira pri svakom kočenju motorom. U tom se trenutku elektromotor pretvara u generator koji puni bateriju.

Ono što se tijekom vožnje najprije primijeti je ujednačenije i dosljedno ubrzanje motora pri manjim brzinama. Ovih 50 Nm električne pomoći na raspolaganju je po cijeloj skali „điri“. Pa prije nego turbopunjač počne ozbiljno raditi svoj posao kod nekih 2000 „điri“, nedostatak okretnog momenta turbobenzinca nadopunjava elektromotor. To izravnava krivulju ubrzanja te osigurava ujednačeno ubrzavanje.

Kad se uključi turbopunjač i stisne gas preko 2000 „điri“, a još više tamo blizu 3000 okretaja, nova Vitara pomalo neočekivano ubrza i pruža odličan osjećaj vožnje. Motor radi izvanredno mirno, bez trzanja, a tako se ponaša i na cesti. Potrošnja je doista manja. Hibridna Vitara u gradu troši 5,2 l/100 km, izvan grada 4,2 l/100 km i kombinirano 4,6 l/100 km.

U ovakvoj konstelaciji snaga, s prigušenim turbobenzincem i elektromotorom, Vitara postiže najveću brzinu od 190 km/h. Model koji je najprihvatljiviji kupcima je s paketom opreme Elegance+, te s prednjim pogonom i ručnim 6-stupanjskim mjenjačem, a cijena mu je 160.812 kuna.
